Southern Trelawny Environmental Agency (STEA), CSO Coalition for Forests, Jamaica

The Southern Trelawny Environmental Agency (STEA), promotes economic development and the sustainable use of natural resources in the Cockpit Country by implementing environmental conservation and alternative livelihood projects. STEA's mandate is to conserve and protect the Cockpit Country’s heritage, attractions and environs. STEA has joined the CSO Coalition for Forests to add its voice to the collective lobby for more government resources to be put towards forest conservation and sustainable development.
