Community Climate Action in Suriname: CELOS and Tropenbos Suriname

This video spotlights local climate actions on agroforestry by the Centre for Agricultural Research in Suriname (CELOS) and Tropenbos Suriname.
The video is part of a series on innovative climate actions by civil society organisations in Suriname to support frontline communities, their livelihoods and natural ecosystems. The series has been developed under the Enhancing Caribbean Civil Society’s Access and Readiness for Climate Finance project implemented by the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) and national designated authorities in 7 countries, including the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment in Suriname. It is funded by the Green Climate Fund.
