    Stretches are just good regardless I always feel even if you haven't had a walk. I'm often in the house moving about and I do manage to maintain a minimum of 7000 steps each day just in the house. So these stretches really are good for me.
    Since having COVID back in June my ability and motivation for anything more than making sure I am maintaining my minimum steps has been a struggle. But I saw this video and wanted to do it. Hopefully that's a sign of my improving health and motivation.
    Hope you are well Meredith, you know it's your UA-cam channel that got me exercising with my medical conditions and I feel guilty I haven't been able to join in. But I am still here and I know I will get back into doing more.
    Never give up on yourselves people.... Sometimes you do need a time out just keep a positive mindset. If things don't seem to be going as you want, Tell yourself... It's ok, one thing at a time ..and eventually I promise you you will be able to do more. Never measure your ability to someone else either, small steps will get you to your goal.

    Hi Meredith, I am so happy that I found your site a few months ago. I have been doing your seated exercises for upper body, lower body, core and posture/balance. I can't tell you how much of a difference this has made in my strength and confidence in walking and standing. I have hip and knee issues and will need surgery in the near future, but in the meantime I feel so much like my regular self again after gradually feeling so weak and so dispirited. I so enjoy your friendly, pleasant personality and encouraging manner and your knowledge and experience. You have really changed my life. Thank you very, very much!

    I’ve been walking so much every day while traveling around Japan and in desperate need of some stretching. This was so perfect to do in my hotel room! Already feeling much better, thank you!!

      Pre-walk stretches…I like just some movement through the body. Sounds silly, but walking around the room, little shake of the legs and arms, shoulder lifts, heel raises/ankle pumps. Nothing too strenuous as the body is still cold. Save the majority of stretching for after the walk!☺️

    You had me until the kneeling on one knee that just did not work for me. I often have Charlie horses at night after walking tight calves

      There was no weight to be put on the knee when turned, doing the hip flexor stretch. Hopefully you try again and keep the knee lifted off the floor:)

    Great workout, shame the lefts and rights are all the wrong way around. Clearly been videoed with front facing camera so all reversed.

      Hmm, I say left when I use my right, and vice versa, so the viewer is mirroring me...it is to help my participants. Not to confuse you. Hope that helps :)
