The solution is simple, keep them accountable on your own terms.. see a red flag, ditch her. If men at large started walking away from this behaviour, women will absolutely notice and correct. And if not, well you've sorted out your own life so it's a win for you anyway. Don't settle for inexcusable behaviour.
