Let alone New York - even in the quieter parts of England I've had plenty of... shall we say, unusual conversations with random people - like one time a woman just started telling me her whole life story from childhood issues with her parents right the way through to her divorcing her abusive husband 3 years beforehand alongside her finanical issues (inc her bank details), job problems, what happened at various family funerals etc (lots of detail). There was only two things I didn't know about her by the end of the conversation; her first name and why the fuck she chose me to unload on while waiting for a train lol. Was kindof sweet though (like a real-life Forest Gump moment), ended up giving her a hug and wishing her well before jumping on the train and quickly double-checking that I hadn't been pickpocketed before the train doors closed.
