This is probably the greatest metal album of all time. This is a MUST album, as in you have to react to the whole thing. Front to back, nothin but bangers. DO IT!!!!!! You won't regret it.

@Gary alan "Most people don't know he was the original lead guitarist for Metallica" hmm... Pretty sure most people know that. Old heads do anyway. it was the source of megadeth vs metallica fan feuds in the 80s/90s

Megadeth songs from this time are called the Mustaine-Friedman era or the Golden Era because of how their different styles played off each other in regards to the solos. When the solo is played pitch perfect and clean with no distortion and/or an Eastern sound that's Friedman. When the solo just plain shreds and hits you with tons of aggression that's Mustaine. Two totally different styles, yet the songs were composed in a way that made it work and both guys could show off their guitar chops while elevating the song instead of detracting from it.
Since I started listening to Trash, Megadeath has been a favorite. They played San Juan, PR opening for The Motley Crue. They started with Holy Wars. I have never seen a whole venue jump in synch. I twisted an ankle and dislocated a shoulder in the pit. I was in pain and had sweat so much that i had to drink 2 20oz Gatorades and a bottle of water after. The Crue was such a let down after these people man. I slept like a baby. The best darned concert I've been to. I would gladly twist my ankle and dislocate my shoulder again to re-live it. This song is awesome too. It is a shame that he is such a dick. Then again, that never stopped me from listening to his music. Having him fired from Metallica was the best thing that happened to him and to the music world.
This era of this band was with Marty Friedman.... He brought so much color and texture to this band...explore his student Jason Becker... to me this is the golden age for this band...

The music change at the middle is so unexpected, I've always loved it
In my darkest hours is more mellow.
4:53 I LOVE THIS PART SO MUCH!
This era of this band was with Marty Friedman.... He brought so much color and texture to this band...explore his student Jason Becker... to me this is the golden age for this band...
Should always be refered to as "Makeyadeaf."
These guys are top tier, and my favorite thrash metal band. So glad that they're somehow (+) still alive and doing it.
Aaaaaaa I needed it¡!👹👹👹👹
