Much love to your honest reaction and what you do man! When I saw them they opened the show with this song and went immediately into Hangar 18 just like on the album Rust in Piece. There’s nothing like it man. Fun fact, the second half is based on Marvel’s the Punisher whom Dave is a fan of.
Welcome to Megadeth brother. Been a fan since the 80's. This is one of the Big 4 Of Thrash from the 80's...the four being Slayer Megadeth Anthrax and Metallica. There were others that should have been included such as Exodus Overkill and Testament. ..all heavy 80's thrash bands that redefined the metal sound. Megadeth started when their guitarist and singer Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica right as Metallica signed a record deal. Dave wrote a good chunk of music Metallica used that he never got paid for such as the song The Four Horsemen...which in its original format was much faster...and called Mechanix. Dave then formed Megadeth and shit all over everything Metallica ever wrote with better composition and skill level. Dave can play Metallica's entire discography on guitar, but Metallica couldn't play Good Mourning / Black Friday or Holy Wars by Megadeth. That being said..Dave deserved getting kicked out of Metallica because he was an abrasive asshole and had drug and alcohol issues. Now he's old, Christian, has been diagnosed with throat cancer and we are pulling for him. Dave getting the boot from Metallica was a good thing for thrash. It raised the bar out of personal grievances and became competitive. Now we have two thrash bands rather than one. Both good..though Metallica went Bob Seger and aren't thrash anymore. Megadeth still kicking in teeth.
“Abrasive assh0le” = Lars “Addiction” - James is back in rehab. Dave fit in. But, if they hadn’t split, we’d never have gotten Megadeth. Metallica died in the mid nineties.
LOL, I remember when So Far, So Good, So What....came out, the big thing in my high school was who could do the "Start trouble , spread pain" part, in its entirety, on one breath.

This is the best reaction I have ever seen on UA-cam. Dave has to see this !
Dude I love your videos so much. Fantastic.
"How do you follow the beat?" It's easy. Let your head move forward on the down beat and back up on the upbeat. "But that'd give me whiplash!" Well, until you're used to it... yes. Welcome to headbanging!
Way to ride the wave at the end once it started cresting. Perfect reaction! Tornado of Souls is another epic song of theirs. An underrated but ferocious song is Poison Was the Cure. Enjoy!
I love your reactions. Seeing your experience of it reminds me of when I first heard it. So awesome! Making me smile!
React to “peace sales... but who’s buying” from Megadeth as well.
“Abrasive assh0le” = Lars
“Addiction” - James is back in rehab.
Dave fit in.
But, if they hadn’t split, we’d never have gotten Megadeth. Metallica died in the mid nineties.
Damn I didn't know Dave wrote the four horsemen. No wonder that's my favorite metallica song. Lol.
layzor beeemz no he wrote mechanix wich is a lot shorter. The four horsemen is slower but has more riffs and parts
Metallica’s last 2 albums were thrash bro
Jamel, I'm so glad you like this song . I'm a guitar player, and I wish I could play like this.Your the best dude around, thanks for sharing.peace.
You are making me laugh out loud 😂 thanks dude
This is Top Tier of Thrash Metal Brother...It Don't get Much Better than This Band...
Dave Mustaine is the greatest metal guitarist of all time, and Rust in Piece is his masterpiece. Change my mind. All hail King Dave!
RexJava1975 lyrical genius bad well
Agree
I enjoy looking your reaction when you came out of your comfortable zone, and listen something different. Greetings from Colombia 🇨🇴.
HELLYEAH and much respect for your honest opinion on 1 of the greatest metal song ever, it really means a lot. megadeth kicks ass
Iron Maiden .... The Clansman live 😉
Hallowed Be Thy Name live 😉
Liar by Megadeth. One of my favorite songs. Along with Painkiller by Judas Priest.
LOL, I remember when So Far, So Good, So What....came out, the big thing in my high school was who could do the "Start trouble , spread pain" part, in its entirety, on one breath.
@@Ando2k10 Lol. I tried it and failed miserably.
Hey Jamel. I'm new to your channel and let me say that I really enjoy watching you enjoy rock/classic rock/heavy metal music. See how some of this music is new to you and watching your reaction to it, makes this music new to me again. I don't know if I articulated that point correctly, but it just good seeing somebody new appreciate this music. Cheers!
This video makes my heart happy. Music is love, man!
next thing you know, they'll take my thoughts away.....
Thank you for your part in revitalizing thrash metal. I Love you for it.
Off genre but something I think you Love.
Band: Korn
Song: blind
It’s their first song off of their first album.
It seems to me 80’s bands got better and peaked around their third or forth album (just like megadeth with this cut cut “holy wars”) and 90’s bands peaked with their first album. Just my opinion.
Good to see you "eased" into Megadeth, Jamal. Love your videos bro
Very nice reaction 👏
Welcome to metal!
