If it hasn't already blown your mind, the 3 Megadeth songs you've listened to are all from the same album. Rust In Peace was an amazing collection and an instant classic.
In My Darkest Hour... they need the lyrics to it
It was a technical masterpiece. Dave took everyone to school with this one.
Rust in Peace is a Thrashterpiece.
Let's be honest though, as good as RIP is, Peace Sells is legendary
One of my favorite album of there's
*first solo plays*
"That's hot!"
Me: Oh you ain't heard nothing yet
Alex damn right brother
Still pissed they cut most of it off
@@iWarDy97 Yea, wtf with this cutting of reaction? It seems like it didn't go well or smth, with solos, great moments. I don't understand.
@@muchozorable It avoids copyright strikes.
Ok, that clears things up
Nick Menza, R.I.P. one hell of a drummer. Best Megadeth lineup ever
The next album is the first for the current lineup, and come on, Kiko and Dirk are the best guys alive for being in the place of Marty and Nick. Lets put some faith in whatever is about to come...
Nick wrote Hangar 18 too.
Says you.
He played so hard . I loved it
Seguro!
A simple guide to Megadeth: if it's fast and shreddy, it's Dave. If it's melodic, it's Marty. Most of the solos were from Marty on this song, until they started a part they called "dueling banjos" by the end. The last one is from Dave.
Exactly. If it sounds melodic it's Marty if it sounds shredding sort of like a Vinnie Vincent solo, it's Dave
Accurate
fast shreddiness = dave
phrygian dominant, egyptian, or middle eastern scales & phrasing = marty
@@AlexThorn Yup. And it’s a compliment, either way - the juxtaposition, is the magic. And VV rules.
Not always. Marty does the super amazing shredding in Tornado of Souls.
Peace Sells is the next essential Megadeth song.
Melkor Odensson very true
Lucretia
Something more commercial, c'mon! Symphony of Destruction et all.
Parth Sood lol they've done hanger 18 and holy wars but Pease sells is too commercial? W0t m8
That's the opposite of what he said.
I love how you guys now even know who Marty Friedman is, that's awesome, it's great to see you guys embrace megadeth.
Rust in Peace is the greatest most technical thrash metal album of all time
Vektor >>>
Probably not the most technical any more but was in its day.
@@Hambone3773 the great thing about Megadeth was it was technical but still they were great songs too. No point in being technical and the song suck ass.
Clearly you don't listen to Vektor, Coroner, Voivod, Deathrow, Watchtower etc
@@pallbearer1175 vektor's vocals are shit though
Hahahah Dave or Marty. You guys know their names and stuff now. Cool. Ya’ll metal heads now. ❤️
Mitzi Hussein they forgot kiko
Emilio Leon ik but still
Max Dufresne what’s your point?
Soon they'll know who's playing what when they hear it.
NO....No, they're not. You can respect a genre without getting fully into it..I like Taylor Swift,Prince and Chopin and im not a 'pop-head' or 'classical head'.... I'm a metal head.
I bet some1 says, "if you like Taylor Swift, you ain't no metal head"..It just means they have no idea about music...
*Lost In Vegas Metal Reactions Summary*
Ryan: Golly!
George: The Drums..
Both: This is Fire
Ryan: Yeah Man
Gaaaaah-lee! - Ryan
I love the 'One' reaction cause Ryan turned into a giddy little boy lol. He's like: Oh, come on man! Come on! I'm done! I am DONE!
You're forgetting the stank face during a transition and "WWOOOOOO".
MegaCrasherMusic its getting a little tiresome actually
Ryan sometimes repeats the word 'fire', like Beavis
Pantera - Mouth For War. Grooviest metal song ever!
Isuru Nanayakkara good choice brother.
They aren't doing Pantera anymore, get over it.
Why aren't they doing Pantera anymore?
Because they don't like the fact that Phil made the racist remarks a couple years back so they don't want to support someone like that. And no, Phil isn't the only one, they used the Confederate flag several times on their 1996 tour.
Matt they could still do Damageplan!
The fact that y'all know the band members by name, refer to them by only their first names, and you are comparing the tracks by nuance only proves that y'all really like, and more importantly appreciate, Megadeth as a band. It also proves you've taken the time to explore Megadeth beyond what you're probably making videos reactions too. I can't tell you how much I respect your commitment to being open minded is to me as a viewer. I'm an almost 50 year old music lover, and producer/promoter that's worked with close to 1000 acts from Ying Yang Twins, to David Allan Coe, to Webbie, to Too Short, and back around to Soil and Hed PE. I am in the music industry, and your take on music as individual art is refreshing from the outside as a consumer. Keep it up, I enjoy watching y'all immensely.
Hed would be great for them to react to, but what song?
3:09 "So far so good" LOL....I wonder if Ryan knows he almost quoted an album title..... so what
SO WHAT?!
Lol dude I was so close to saying the exact same thing until I read this
@@detrockcity3 Nice Deep Purple reference there, man. 🙂👍🤘
So far,so good , so what
He said the first two things of it, so what? 🌝
1st solo Marty
2nd solo Marty
3rd solo (breakdown) Marty
4th solo Marty
5th solo (2nd breakdown) Dave
6th solo Marty
7th solo Dave
8th solo Marty
9th solo Dave
Aaron Stone thank you
No prob mate
I knew it, thank you for doing the leg work... that's what I was gonna provide!
Joshua Booth no prob recently learned all the solo taught it might help those who are nt familiar with Marty and Dave's style
Aaron Stone great job pal. 👍🏼
It’s so funny how you can tell the Dave solos because they just sound angry.
JFRiley angry and fucking all over the place total chaos. Incredible just like the ones in Five Magics
I've never heard a more accurate description of a Mustaine solo. No one else has a sound like Dave.
The fact that he's self taught plays a big role too.
Marty plays with a lot of love, Dave plays with a lot of anger!
Angry again
Friedman's solos give me the chills
The best thing that ever happened was Dave Mustaine getting fired from Metallica. This was how God gave us Megadeth. And there was much rejoicing.
Exactly, had Dave never been fired, Metal would most likely never have become as dominant as it is today.
And wailing, gnashing of teeth, and banging of heads.
Second best thing was that Dave rented a room just above David Eleffson's
Right with you
HUZZAHHH!!!
"Whoever was shredding on that solo was out of his mind" hahahah
All good... I'm still waiting on "Cemetary Gates" by Pantera! :P
DJ Schmolli i LOVE Pantera so much! But Domination is a much better song in my personal opinion...anyway, theres so many great songs from Pantera!
DJ Schmolli yes
DJ Schmolli FLOOOOOOOOOOOODS
Yiorgios Vazouras dude, I cant see my boys cry. WASH AWAY US ALL
DJ Schmolli rip.
Dave does the lightning scales while Marty is the more artistic almost freestyle like solos......killer shredders no matter what
Peace Sells But Who's Buying........come on...

You should just review the entire Rust in Peace album. One of the best albums of all time.
Ethan Cooke nice political orientation in that pic
Depeche Robb agreed
Megadeth A Tout Le Monde. A completely different, beautiful song from probably my favorite band.
Agreed, I love their slower melodic songs.
Mustaine has come out and said he was scared of how good Marty Friedman was at guitar when he joined the band
A players hire A+ players, B players hire C players....
RIP - Nick Menza (salute).
Best Megadeth drummer!
Gar was their best drummer rookies
wrong
Both were highly phenomenal.
Solos go like this sonnnn!!! Marty, Marty, Dave, Marty, Dave, Marty, Dave!!!!!!!!!! Yadadamean!!
johnnysizzlechest haha, back in the day, reading the liner notes
Al Pitrelli played these solos amazing when he was playing in Megadeth
Dueling solos!
Jeff m: I loved that they did that, though eventually you can tell which one is which but still awesome.
Thank you!
Brutality solos = Dave Mustaine.
Melodic solos = Marty Friedman.
They are both monsters!
Mustaine calls it “ear candy,” and there’s a lot of it in this song.
9:13 Respectfully disagree. One might’ve had to jam on some metal riffs to fully appreciate, BUT: Marty’s lead run, up the scale, sets up the transition perfectly. Then his solo over Dave’s rhythm riff key change., With the half-time feel, decrease in tempo by the drums and bass.., it’s a flawless 180° turn. You follow? This wasn’t a subtle 90° transition. It’s more technical than the average song. But in this case, complexity doesn’t take away from the transition, it enhances it. Truth from Cicero, Ryan. 😎🤘✌️
I love Lost In Vegas, but this is spot-on 100%
Goodfella this part of the song kicks ass
Goodfella muchos bueno amigo! 👍
Goodfella they just need to listen to it more. Obviously it’s fucking awesome.
Goodfella which part on the CD recording?
Damn dudes. I've watched soooooooo many of your videos and I just have to chime in and say that it's so wonderful to see people from a different walk of life grooving so hard in the exact same manner that I do. Keep it up!
Agreed. Their reactions bring me back to when I first discovered all this music.

One of my favorites
Wake up dead - Megadeth
Org- alorg up
fukck yeah!!!
Org-alorg Hell yes!!!! That song is a nastiest stunt riffs of all time playbook.
Yes, this song is a must listen for them! No doubt they'll love it. Those riffs are groovy.
Fav megadeth song
Megadeth has been in my top 5 fav bands since 1995. I was 14 years old, and I saw the video for Train Of Consequences on MTV. That song blew me away. I've been a big fan since. Lucky to have seen them live a few times.
Good mourning/Black Friday!
MegaDeth
Hell ya
R.I.P. Nick Menza.
In this song, I believe Marty Friedman plays the early solos in the song. Towards the middle/end when there is nothing but solos, Marty and Dave Mustaine are alternating who is playing the solo. I remember also seeing an interview with Dave years ago where he said the idea of the song came from the drummer Nick Menza (RIP) who had an obsession with aliens and Area 51. He was not crazy about the idea of the song at the time, and if you listen to the whole Rust in Peace album, it really doesn't fit with the theme of the other songs besides some mentioning of the government/military.
Megadeth was the first band that really got me to deep dive into the metal genre. Just in case you guys aren't familiar with its history, Dave Mustaine was originally in Metallica early on and got kicked out. His anger towards them drove him to build Megadeth into a force of its own. They never reached the commercial success of Metallica, but in my opinion, they are just as good.
My favorite album from Megadeth is Peace Sells. It's one of the few albums I've ever listened to that has an "atmosphere" to it. It's very haunting and eerie. I think most Megadeth fans seem to prefer the Rust in Peace line up with Marty on guitars and Nick on Drums, but Gar Samuelson (drums) and Chris Poland (guitar) both had backgrounds in jazz which led to an amazing sound on the Peace Sells album.
If you guys get the chance, do an album review of Peace Sells. You may recognize the intro bass track to the song 'Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?" from the MTV news intro back in the 80s(?).
Thanks for all the videos and content Ryan and George. You guys are legit. First Patreon I've ever supported and proud to help you guys out.
PurdyRich
Yes! Possibly the greatest 13 min in all of metal is the first 3 tracks of Megadeth's Peace Sells album. Listen to them together.
PurdyRich Yep
Nailed it! So Far, So Good, So What is criminally underrated too!
Lindsey Ormsbee For sure!
Is your name a combination of Bernard Purdy and Buddy Rich? Or is it reference to being decently wealthy? Or is it a double entendre...
Lucretia by Megadeth is also a must listen!
I don't like it personally, I prefer Five Magics
ABSOLUTELY
Favourite song from the album, an absolute masterpiece.
Take no prisoners is the song equivalent of the Terminator.
Lucretia's solos are so underappreciated...
Megadeth - Take No Prisoners!
You'll love it
TAKE NO SHIT!
It's time to do Wake Up Dead, the best solo Dave Mustaine have ever done.
Yannick Messias It's either that or My Last Words
My last words!!
Hell yeah! Another colossus of a song! /,,/
Classic fucking thrash song
Dave’s solos in wake up dead and my last words are among one of my favourite solos by him, including holy wars...the punishment due
This is so refreshing! You guyz are awesome!! You're the shredders of reactions videos. 😉
The very first riff is Metallica's "Call of Chtulu" on which Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield had a big beef!
The shred you didn't cut out of the video are Mustaine's crazy right hand tremolo technique.
Rust in Piece is more than an excellent album, it's a timeless album! 😉
Oilid Ktulu*
Oilid what genre is this exactly?
Q ue thrash metal
The entire song until the transition to the ending solos is Call of Ktulu, not just the first riff...
Row Lem Damn' autocorrect possessed by H.P. Lovecraft!
Love you guys. Great idea for a channel. Metal forever
I like that you guys actually give interesting insights that had never occurred to me after listening to this song for years, and you cut out the parts where you guys aren’t talking. I wish all reaction channels were like this because I would start watching these more.
An official video reaction would be dope!, "Sweating bullets" too
Nick Menza was such an incredible drummer. It was so hard to see him go. Rest in peace, Nick. Miss ya.
Hangar 18 was a pre Area 51 government facility where supposed extraterrestrial vehicles were storage.
Your reviews are a lot of fun! Keep it up!
What’s up guys I am a born and raised hip hop fan and just recently got into rock and metal. A lot of my recent discoveries I owe to you guys and I just bought tickets to see METALLICA in January here in Little Rock, Ar. Thanks guys!!! Keep up the awesome vids.
Yo that is awesome dude!
RawTalentRecords dont forget to buy tickets to Slayers last tour and Ozzys final tour as well.
how old are u son

Oh shit just a year older than me man
All 3 Megadeth songs you reviewed belong to one album, 'Rust In Peace'.
Rust In Peace is arguably the greatest metal album of all time. Its an album where Dave Mustaine takes everyone to school with his song-writing. Every song brings something DIFFERENT to the table, and all of them are masterpieces which come together so beautifully and cohesively to make that an art piece.
Mindblowing riffs - check, Blistering solos - check, Sick Transitions - check, machine gun drumming - check, intense and expressive vocals - check, catchy tunes - check, smart lyrics - check.
If any album needs to be listened to and reviewed in one sitting, its this one.
*EDIT* : Did I mention how prominent the bass lines are on this album ?
Sainandan Ramakrishnan. I love the song Dawn Patrol
Sainandan Ramakrishnan best album ever? Nah
+Phantasm2Cuda
Its one among the very select group of front-to-back masterpieces in heavy metal. Every single song is a gem, an album that never gets old and the right way of listening to it is in one sitting from start to finish.
Of course, calling it THE best album ever would be foolish, as NO album can be called THE best album ever. But this one was as close to perfection you could possibly get.
Wish they'd review something from peace sells. Maybe peace sells.
Totally agree. I may not be a huge fan of Megadeth overall, but Rust in Peace is truly a masterpiece in my opinion. And it opens with Holy Wars, which is arguably one of the greatest metal songs ever written.
Megadeth 5 magics is on this cd and is probably my favorite song off the cd.
Mr. Orange best metal song ever?
@@mikahina3909 pretty close.
That transition you guys dont quiet like is maybe my best part of the song

Testament- Over the Wall
Ohhhyeah.
They probably wouldn't like anything from Testament's first album to be honest. I think they should go with something off Formation of Damnation, like More Than Meets the Eye or The Persecuted Won't Forget.
I believe it is time for some OZZY OSBOURNE. He is a founder of the entire genre and has been overlooked so far. He deserves the respect for that fact alone.
Brian Knutson actually Tony Iommi is the inventor of the heavy metal riffs the music is what made the genre
The bass drives it perfectly at the begining, drums also but the bass do the most of the job driving this song.
Love the breakdown, guys. So many solos... This song absolutely SHREDS - and one of the most unique choruses in all of thrash-metal.
Nightwish - Ghost Love Score (Live Wacken)
Opeth - Burden
Judas Priest - Dreamer Deceiver

So many solos I can't count.
If you watch a video or two from this album you can immediately start to figure out who is soloing. Marty is exotic sounding and Dave plays a lot of quick pentatonic riffs. This was the pinnacle of Thrash. Every single song was a masterpiece.

Lost in Vegas + Megadeth = instant "like". I don't even care if you like it, I just know it'll be good.
Yep, same here. I was like, "don't even have to hit play, lemme hit like first".
OMG. This is three months old. How haven't I seen this yet. Ive only been wanting to see this for like 6 years now... This is going to be priceless watching these dudes faces melt. They haven't heard a solo until this xD
Marty and Dave shared solo`s almost 50/50 on the recordings. I was amazed when seeing the tabs for these songs and realizing half of them were Dave.
Welcome home (Sanitarium)- Metallica!!!!! You won’t regret it
Dylan Lawson good song. Compared to this..... hahahah
TheCrazyCanuck420 You’re not wrong... lol
Both were shredding. Marty has a more articulate sound in his solo very precise and beautiful. Dave is just shredding like hell, very aggressive sounding and muted. Very different styles that make a kick ass line up.
Watching you guys groove and bob your heads to some of my favorite songs = the BEST. Keep going with these videos! (And hope you get to Testament: Souls of Black)
The way you guys break down the lyrics around the 5:00 mark is seriously why this is the only reaction video shit I watch. Keep up thr good work from Australia all the way to Vegas
Nice, this was definitely a "must hear" song, one of Megadeth's very very best!
Hopefully you'll check out some of the lesser requested thrash masterpieces like "Desperate Cry" by Sepultura "Some Pain Will Last" by Kreator or "Time Does Not Heal" by Dark Angel

Hi Guys Greetings from Ireland, I love your videos, I'm 44 watching you guys and your reactions reminds me of when I was 14 listening to this music for the first time with my friends and being blown away just like you guys are! As Kristian Nairn (hodor) said its where my 44 yr old self and my 14 year old self meet and watching you guys is exactly the same!! Keep it up much respect and love - Yes you do sweat listening to metal!! i'm sure you know that by now.
Rawk!On from Columbus Ohio.. you guys kick Ass
Megadeth - Peace Sells but Who is Buying
I'm sure you're gonna love the lyrics.

Left Hook Yes Please on good mourning/Black Friday!
The lyrics will freak these guy's out though! Lol
i was waiting for this such a long time.. FINALLY
Dave and Marty trading off. Been away for a while, catching up with you guys from the past 4 months. Glad to see you still at. Peace!
Megadeth - Peace Sells
RogueEagle Goodourning Black Friday is better. but Peace Sells is great too.
...But who's buying?
Peace Sells is a classic, but far from the best on the album. They would really like The Conjuring or Wake up Dead I think
Bad Omen it's probably my favorite off of that album, but I doubt they'd like it. It's too aggressive and fast for them I'd think. The Conjuring or Wake up Dead would be more up their alley.
Megadeth - Sweating bullets
Audioslave - Show me how to live
Trust and symphony of destruction. By megadeth
Yes my boys, was hoping you reviewed this song, love hanger 18 amazing solos, chunky riffs, damn great song
I know that Hangar 18 was a huge request but I've honestly seen even more for Cemetery Gates by Pantera (at least on UA-cam). I'm not even a huge Pantera fan but you guys gotta do this song.
They ain’t doin it, sun. Phil Anselmos antics ruined it
did they say that's the reason?
Adam Wilson they say they’re conflicted about doing another Pantera song in one of their tweets... it’s why they only did Vinnie Paul’s drumming for suicide note.
What a coincidence, I'm wearing my Rust In Peace shirt and you guys upload this one! Hell yeah! And Dave and Marty were trading off solos at the end there. This entire album has my favorite solos of all-time! And metal is really creative when it comes to transitions. Great video, guys!
its not a coincidence if you are always wearing your rust in peace shirt.
Rust in Peace was a certified classic the day it was released. ;)
HAHA ... Man you guys are a blast, keep up the epicness bros !!!
Haha you finally did it. How did I miss this one?
Seriously guys, you HAVE to react to Cowboys from Hell - Pantera.
Didn't they say they weren't going to react to Pantera anymore? I'm surprised people can't take no for an answer
Matt if this is true, it’s sad. This ‘racist label’ has only been applied to Phil and it’s just an opinion. Phil’s drunkenness has tarnished what Pantera really stood for. Dimebag was/is the greatest metal guitarist that’s ever been. You can’t be into metal and ignore Pantera. They literally saved metal in the early 90’s.
When did they say that? I keep reading comments about it, but I've never heard them say it. And Phil himself responded to their "Walk" reaction video and had a lot of good things to say about them, that comment got thousands of likes.
They said on Twitter (I think) that they wouldn't be reacting to Pantera anymore because of Phil's racist comments. And Phil responded before they knew about it.
Nick P that comment got 11k likes
Marty Friedman has a unique sound. To answer your question, both Dave and Marty had solos in this song. Marty always has an exotic sound with extended vibratos in his solos. Whereas Dave has a thrashy shred to his playing. Marty's tone is crisp and bright. Dave's tone, while still great, has a bit more muffle to it.
You've done, like, the Megadeth "legend" trio, you've basically covered Metallica's every side, all left from the slayer trio is angel of death, you are getting into anthrax slowly steadily, but we need more pantera..
Few recommendations--
•Cowboys from hell (you better listen)
•Domination (pleeaaassseee!?!?!?)
•cemetery gates (beautiful)
•floods (yaaas)
Kirk WAHmett 89 skip anthrax
TeamAtFort i kinda get you, but every band has signature style, which anthrax totally has. Anthrax. Im not really a big fan of. But songs like caught in a mosh are nice. But they dont really that much of mind blowing material. Its basically thrash for thrash's sake. Kinda like if you take Metallicas kill em all, and continue that for your entire career.
Kirk WAHmett 89 probably why thrash metal today is boring because everyone literally sings about thrash music
Cowboys from hell I agree when my dad first showed me that song my mind was blown
Floods showed me Dimebag could have done anything, he just loved to shred.
You guys a freaking Cool! i really enjoy your channel
