When Barret suggested Cid give them flights for free you can see Cid was about to go off on him. Loved that. People who say this ain't the same Cid as og are not catching all the little hints. He appears calm and kind right now because he likes Aerith's innocence, and especially because he knew Ifalna in this version. But you can tell that Cid is trying his hardest to be nice because these are his customers, but his roughness can be seen several times with Barret, Cloud and Vincent.

It sounds like he says "Fass ja nichts an" in german which basically means "don't touch anything". It really doesn't sound like english or anything remotely like the subtitles suggest.
I just checked a german version and he literally says that in german. So it is a bug
