Maybe it goes a layer deeper. Digging a hole deep enough to get super powers isn’t worth destroying the world over. Just be content with who you are and take care of your environment
I appreciate how you explained Cloud's first story as a combination of trauma and brain damage from unethical experiments rather than him deliberately lying. I don't know why so many people feel like it was all a conscious lie and Cloud actively knew the truth the whole time; if he had, he would have realized Tifa would have remembered things completely differently and wouldn't have tried to lie.
I mean like at first, anyone would consider him a unreliable narrator, but by the time he's in the wheelchair, I feel like no one should think he was just pretending to be a gigachad
Play crisis core... He was literally put in a vial of mako energy by Hojo... Zack carries him around constantly talking to him while he's poisoned leading to him to pick up Zacks traits... Mako's weird like that..... Lol.
Hey if the government has to looks a the causes of death for large groups of deaths, it’s just, ya know, “natural causes” not anything strange, like I don’t know, a sword.
That’s too epic to be a headcanon. You gotta make an original character with a weapon outright named Natural Causes, for both the epic factor and the joke factor
Technically being killed by sephiroth’s sword is natural, steel comes from the earth (plus a lot of purification and stuff) and technically bleeding is also natural, therefore, it is natural causes
Aight, a few things that weren't already mentioned in comments: -The planet has a name and is called Gaia -Sephiroth was injected with Jenova cells while still in the womb -Jenova was in Nibelheim so they could create soldiers/monsters in the reactor -Barret adopts Marlene because he thought Dyne was dead, not because he became unstable -You need a Keystone to get into the Temple of the Ancients, not another materia -The Black Materia isn't in the Temple, it IS the Temple. It shrinks because whoever is inside needs to solve a series of puzzles, which upon completing each one shrinks the Temple further, therefore killing whoever is inside. The Temple becomes small enough to be usable as a materia, but like...you're dead now -The snowboarding mini game is not fun that's just a fact -Specifically, Red is the one who gives Cloud the black materia in the crater because nobody else wanted to even touch it
On that last part, at some point you start not trusting yourself so you’re given the option to give the Materia to another party member. For you that must have been Red because that’s who you chose to carry it
@@RavanaMuse That style of joke is used commonly, it is possible that the grammar placing is not correct. But people generally get the context because there is so little to actually translate.
Red XIII was captured by Shinra because of his very long lifespan. Hojo was planning to breed him with Aerith to create an ancient with a long lifespan. It's not said clearly, but it is strongly implied, although you would probably miss this if you were a kid when playing the game.
From what i remember... He only mentioned that each were the last of their species and needed to be preserved. I never got the "breeding" vibe until TFS made a joke about it on FF7 abridged haha
I love how you do the origin of why the lore exists first, and then you start with the game story. Seriously, that helps organize and follow these over cooked plots!I absolutely love you, simple explanations and jokes of these CRAZY convoluted stories. I have legit watched your videos on repeat. I'm hoping you tackle the Metal Gear Solid series! Please post more videos. I hope all is well in your life!
The lore is part of the game story it just starts in medias res (in the middle of the action, like Star Wars) and the story gets delivered in flashbacks, documents, witness testimony, and because the game is so big and so much stuff is optional (i.e. Sephiroth's real origins are explained by Vincent), it just gets drowned.
@KasumiR IT really does get drowned. Personally, I never cared to learn more into loves, through documents in games or letters. When done right, it can be dam good storytelling while adding layers of background. But a lot of games and other types of media kinda use it as a cop out to throw things together and explain via text.
An important point is that when Sephiroth is explaining to Cloud what "really" happened in Nibelheim, *Sephiroth doesn't actually know* what really happened. He's just extrapolating based off of the consequences he saw at the reactor. This is important because he assumes that Cloud was a puppet who was just following him around, and that idea led him to overconfidence in his control of Cloud that is eventually exploited. It's a key plot point that explains why Sephiroth's entire plan unravels because of toying with Cloud.
Vincent’s appearance comes off as intimidating but irl he’s just a depressed Emo reminiscing on how his only true love dumped him for a mentally ill scientist
A few things to mention: Jenova is heavily inspired by John carpenters movie The Thing, which features a shape-shifting alien. Sephiroth and jenovas powers are not necessarily magic, but are a part of jenovas actual organic material. Jenova is a parasite that live by feeding off of the lifestreams of different planets. Sephiroths character and reasons are a little more complex than just "hey bro", but i get that it fit the video. Sephiroth sees jenova for what she is, and, lacking ultimate purpose and motivation for existence, sees his mother as a role model. It is not a good purpose, but sephiroth wants any purpose, and sees replacing his mother as a planet eating demon as better than nothing. He also envies cloud for having an origin and purpose, and toys with him as a sadistic outlet. Lastly, sephiroth stylized himself as an angel, because of his mother's physiology of one wing and his metaphoric ascent into godhood/divinity. He also doesn't realize that life is what you choose for yourself, and doesn't require you to follow a "destiny" or purpose, so he doesn't see any other choice.
You can still see some of that in the game, it's just more implicit. It provides logical reasoning for some of sephiroths actions. Sephiroth seems sullen and lonely in his actions before the nibelheim reactor. It makes sense Why he'd be upset after the discovery of the experiment pods, but why would he immediately go and start researching Jenova, and why would he immediately start thinking of her as his mother and start imitating her? You can say insanity, but he'd still need some driving reason, however irrational, to drive him to do what he does. Without this, sephiroth is just a 2d villain, which wouldn't make sense considering the cleverness of the rest of the story.
@@evanmurphy118 when sephiroth began studying jenova for days on end in isolation after discovering the one thing he yearned for and thought about his whole life, his mother, was a monster, nobody did anything. zach saw the whole thing, yet nobody cared to actually wonder about his wellbeing or offer him any sort of support. /anything/. they knew what he was doing and where he was, but nobody cared. even beforehand, sephiroth was always alone. i think a lifetime of loneliness, no family, being an outcast and seeing horrible things, and then discovering something terrifying about yourself, and then STILL nobody caring, made him snap.
Okay well the only difference is that cloud witnessed sephiroth killing his mom pretty much while half way unconscious and then he took Zacks buster sword and ran up to sephiroth while he was talking to his mother and stabbed him. While sephiroth was limping away with the head of Jenova cloud got into his way again and sephiroth stabbed him while above the mako of the reactor and cloud held his ground, picked sephiroth up with his own sword and threw him into the lifestream where sephiroth absorbed the knowledge of the ancients and the calamity of jenova and how jenova wanted to kill off all cetra by disease and rule the universe eventually by infecting it with jenova cells.
For someone who didn't know much about the lore, just the overall picture, this was fantastic. I appreciate this and how funny it was and the lore is totally not confusing at times lol. Thank you
@@MrPonikata She never explains that until far later in the game though. She plays along for his explanation at Kalm, and the only thing she disputes is "Did you go into my room?" and then he finds something called "Orthopedic Underwear" in her room and she says "that never happened" to which he replies "I swear it's true!" or "Okay I'm just playing".
Just some clarifications: 1 - Jenova takes the form of the host they are infecting, she didn't arrive as a naked lady, at the time of its imprisonment Jenova had the form of a naked cetra lady. 2 - Sephiroth went mad a Nibelheim because he thought Jenova was an Ancient and therefore he too was an Ancient.
He also went mad because he was too close to Jenova, so she started to control him to release her and help her; the same happened to Cloud every time he faced Jenova, because of her cells.
There are a whole lot more than 2 clarifications. IE, for a huge part of the game its not Sephiroth you see, its Jenova. You don't actually see Sephiroth in the current timeline until Northern Crater. Also, clarification specifically on 'number 2' Sephiroth went mad, because he had everything he ever believed shattered, but it wasn't specifically that which made him go mad. That caused cracks in his psyche, which Jenova was then able to force its way into to manipulate Sephiroth. Jenova had been in a dormant state, and Sephiroth was the first time enough of Jenova had been active in something to, for lack of a better term, wake Jenova up, but Sephiroth's will was too strong for Jenova to control, up until that point.
Further clarification: the plot actually has nothing to do with 'Sephiroth clones', they're numbered Hojo experiments infused with Jenova cells. That was just poor translation/plot changes made to the westernized OG FF7.
Red wasn’t supposed to become a sephiroth clone - his species has incredible longevity (he’s like 50 in the game, which is the human equivalent of 12) and so Hojo wanted to breed him with Aerith to try to create a Cetra who could essentially live “forever”…long enough to withstand their testing
Any of them are better than Safer-Sephiroth. I felt like it was a play on words because he's floating and unless you got that reach materia basic melee attacks didn't work.
This makes sense. But the name Sephiroth is already So close to .... Wait ... Was his name meant to be derivative of seraphim? You know, because he's evil and his mother was from the heavens? God damn it japanese people.
Lot of important details that need to be mentioned: * Jenova isn't actually the woman with the heart/umbilical cord growing out of her. That is actually a cetra that Jenova infected and uses as a host. The actual Jenova is the microorganisms in the host, which are more like the "The Thing" from John Carpenter's interpretation of the classic horror story "Who Goes There?", a collection of alien microorganisms capable of a form of parasitism and mimicry, imitating other life forms by consuming them, copying their genetic material, and integrating it into its own, and then morphing into the form of the creature they consumed in order to better hunt and consume prey. * It is suspected that Hojo first began experimenting with Jenova cells on himself, infecting himself with the alien parasite, which resulted in him becoming mad, because Jenova has a form of telepathy that affects anyone infected with her cells and allows her to influence them. In effect, Jenova has a form of mind control/persuasion similar to the Reaper Indoctrination of the Mass Effect games. * This form of Telepathic Influence/Partial Mind Control also explains why Sephiroth went mad, because he has a high content of Jenova cells within him and getting exposed to Jenova directly affected them and through them, him.
In all the published media that I can find, while it is stated Jenova infiltrated the cetra, taking on their form... it does not state explicity that it took a male or female form. While it could be extrapolated or suggested that, that IS the reason it has that female figure it may not be definitive proof or the actual reason.
However, Tifa does not actually point out anything. She doesn't confront Cloud. She keeps to herself, and his story is taken for granted by the group, and by the player. Tifa's psychology is a key component of the story, as she alone holds the truth at that point and chooses to hide it from everybody .
Tifa doesn't actually know what is going on either. When Could came back to Nibelheim as a military scrub he was wearing his faceless henchmen outfit the entire time and never revealed himself to anybody in his hometown out of embarrassment. So all Tifa sees is that Cloud has some weirdly specific memories of events that he wasn't actually present for, all from the perspective of Zack, whom is somebody she actually met. She never brings it up with the party because she didn't want to make her childhood friend look like a lunatic. And she doesn't figure out that Cloud was one of the faceless henchmen until they drop into the live stream and explore his jumbled memories together.
Decent summary. Minor correction: *Cetra*, not "Centra". Would've been cool to see Vincent burst out into his Dirge-of-Ceberus Gargoyle-form when the narrator says "experimented on", and/or mention that he eventually is found by Cloud in a locked-up coffin in the basement of a Nibelheim estate (since AC/DoC/and everything else since the original makes finding, and keeping, Vincent and Yuffie as canon), and also that Lucrecia is talked to, whilst living as a female hermit (hermitess? spinster?) behind a waterfall in the middle of nowhere. Red XIII was the (almost; per Advent Children) "last" remaining descendant of another ancient race of powerful talking animals that had an affinity for guarding the planet and was kept for study out of similar curiosity for the past. Possibly -- knowing Doctor Fraudc-, er, MojoHojo feeling spurned by the attention Professor X gave the Powerpuff Girls -- for artificial repopulation of his species....not quite as real a repopulation as it would be naturally, in the wild. OH, and it would've also have been cool to expound a bit more on Crisis Core, in saying that the Buster Sword that Zack Faire gives Cloud Strife originally belonged to Angeal Hewley, something a pre-Cloud mentor to a younger Zack and even mentor and rival to a pre-crazed Sephiroth, when the local crazy-of-the-month/year was a wannabe poet-samurai named Genesis Rhapsody, partly responsible for Lucrecia blaming herself for said death of the father of a younger Vincent when he was part of the Turks, long before objecting to MojoHojo's machinations and idiosyncrasies. Producer's call on whether or not Before Crisis story/Turk backstory content is worth fleshing out. Original was only ever on select Sprint flip-phones that very few played, regardless of mobile gaming not ever taking off in the States as compared to across the Pacific in the "East". Same with whether or not the "vegetative state" clones in the original/Remake(s) are a combination of the three wannabe-Sephiroths in Advent Children or not (clarification on that?), or if those just came out of nowhere at that point in time for that particular "Reunion" (of those containing similar cells). actually ''the naked alien lady '' was not jenova .... jenova was an alien organism, which infected a female ancient and used her corpse as host. the host body is how the player sees Jenova , as ''naked alien -lady '' hope this explanation helps :P
No, that's also wrong. Jenova is a shape-shifting organism that instinctively mimics the lifeforms it encounters. The ancients describe it as looking like their lost loved ones. The female form taken by the main body is one of those mimicries. That's also how Cloud ends up thinking he's Zack, because the Jenova cells inside him attempt to copy Zack.
I really enjoyed this. I’ve played through FFVII, Crisis Core, and even Dirge of Cerberus, and watched Advent Children a million times and still never know what’s happening. Breaking it down like this was very helpful. I wish we could get more videos like this.
You just described everything ever History sounds insane on paper, books, comics, games, manga, anime, VN's all sound insane in theory but it's rhe writing that makes em worthwhile. That and music, visuals etc
I like how about 5% of this story got through to me while playing the game, but the overall themes and mystery of everything made the story very compelling.
Yeah I started this game when I was like 10, and I think I beat it at around 13. I was pretty confused, but I told myself I understood because I had beaten the game.
Nah lol most of his pronunciations are cringy as hell and it's more irrating because there's pronunciations in the game which judging by his overview he's played so that just makes it even more infuriating
Honestly I feel like the music in FF7 is at least 50% of why the game is so captivating - the music makes me cry to this day, even something like the standard battle theme has such a powerful story to it
Yep. In Japan an orchestra performed a concert playing the FF7 songs. I ended up with a recording of the CD and I've got to say it's easily the best mastering of the FF7 music. It's hard to explain how well done it is. It's not over the top or massively changed, it's just good, really emotionally good. If you like how symphonic / orchestral music enhances a story, checkout the anime Made In Abyss. It's got some of the best music in any media I've seen in a while. It's spectacular.
If you're not fucked in the head then you're not smart. Trust me on this one. In order to understand the worst you have to know it. Even take pleasure in it. The alternative is worse. If you don't enjoy what you do then you really will go insane. Hojo's enjoying himself. Knowing full well what he does. That makes him quite logical and rational. Don't think he even cares about paradise. Probably just wants to see what what he does to learn from it. If it costs you then so be it. He's not obligated to care. Nor is anyone giving him a reason too. At least not that we see in game. So when an evil cooperation offers to hire you then what else is he going to do? People that judge him, look down on him. They may as well have offered him to that cooperation.
This has got to be my favorite FFVII plot explanation video. I love watching it whenever I need a memory refresher (and I'm always quoting the stuff about Hojo for some reason). Good news, the next part of the remake is coming this winter and I can't wait to see what you'll do!
I didn't realize until you pointed it out, that Sephiroth could and was controlling Jenova. All of that text in the game over countless hours of grinding levels made it easy to forget a sentence or two! It all makes sense now how it just got out of the Shin'Ra HQ, murdering and leaving trails of blood along the way.
@@KirisutonoNeko I still think that it's ambiguous who is in control, and I think it's sort of intentionally left that way. The only thing I'll mention is that I don't personally think the human in Sephiroth was the kind of person to do what he did in Nibelheim. It was seen as a massive break of character by everyone that knew him. So I sort of think that at that time, Jenova somehow flipped a switch in Sephiroth and either essentially began controlling his actions, or at least in some way upped the influence of his Jenova part. But that's just my opinion
@@stephengould7726your answer fitted with the Naked lady alien pov, where Jenova was a controlled cetra infected by the alien, so does cloud, sadly. The reason why Jenova could transform into sephiroth only after 7 years past Nibelheim incident was because Jenova require another sentient subject awaken (cloud was the reason Jenova awoke, because he makes contact by peeking Jenova's chamber). Given that cloud was a puppet made by Hojo by injecting Cloud Jenova's cell, effectively made him the last Jenova Subject alive (Soldier).
This would sum up why Cloud gives the Black Materia, raise his sword to aerith, flew to Sephiroth's real body at Northern crater and so on. And Jenova cells was the geostigma all this time

2:12 *Cetra 6:05 Sephiroth is powerful, but he did just fight with Zack and after fighting with Zach was so consumed and distracted by the majesty of Jenova, Cloud was able to shove the buster sword through Sephiroth. In Sephiroth's wounded and bewildered state, Cloud was able to overcome him.

I finally understand the plot of a childhood favorite game of mine. The explanation in the video single handedly made me say to myself " I get it now!"
I remember first seeing my college buddy playing it back in like 98' or so. He was actually fighting Hojo at the Sister Ray and trying his best to explain the story while trying to beat him
"...Lucrecia blamed herself for the death of Vincent's father, soooo she started a relationship with butt-ugly Hojo." I literally had tears from laughing at this so hard and rewinding it 10 times.🤣🤣🤣
very intersting. i really liked it. a couple of simple errors, like calling them "centra" instead of "cetra", among others, but overall, it was a great video. definitely worth the watch
Actually Hojo wanted to reproduce Aerith with Red XIII because his species live for 500 years, so he wanted a test subject that would live enough for an extensive research
Also there’s a theory that aerith wasn’t all the way dead when they buried her, since dead bodies tend to float, and the location of the stab wound didn’t kill her, but the deceptively deep pool did 😅
Great summary! The one thing I'll add is that Red XIII was captured by Shinra so that they could utilize his long lifespan while experimenting with the Cetra. Not faulting you for that though, it's a very easy detail to miss.
The jenova research always took place in nibelheim. Vincent’s flashbacks all took place in the Shinra manor. Ironically, it turns out nibelheim is Sephiroth’s hometown, too. Jenova wasn’t moved to Midgar till after the nibelheim incident
I am really glad to see at last someone explaining that NO, the one who stab...(natural cause) Shinra's president and so on wasn't Sephiroth himself (well at least not his physical body) and NO we're not chasing the real Sephiroth the entire game. Got bored in my childhood discussing this game and hearing years after years "Jenova was a cetra, ..." Great video, got a new subscriber!
Fun video and animations man, congrats!. I have to say, in game the ancients were called the CETRA (ceNtra is from FF8) and the planet is called Gaia but i think Gaia is only said once in the entire game. Also, Jenova wasn't just a virus, it is heavily implied that she shaped shifted to look like one of the Cetra (That's why Jenova disguises as Sephiroth). Jojo is a pice of human trash, yes, but Lucretcia knew what he was doing, she even got injected with Jenova cells while pregnant. Is important to denote that Zack and Cloud were left behind after the battle with Seph, because they were dead... well... Cloud was...
5:34 This is incorrect. Sephiroth's research leads him to believe Jenova is an Ancient and that humans were enemies of the Ancients. He goes to free his "mother". Later, when he's in the lifestream, he fuses with Jenova and realizes what Jenova truly is (and by extension, what he is). So he begins to try and finish what Jenova started. (Jenova is an alien that goes around consuming planets, fusing their existence with its own)

So true
A few things to mention:
Jenova is heavily inspired by John carpenters movie The Thing, which features a shape-shifting alien.
There’s some headcanon mixed in though
Seraphim have six wings usually, not one, though. Cherubim are the ones with four faces and four wings.

Just some clarifications:
1 - Jenova takes the form of the host they are infecting, she didn't arrive as a naked lady, at the time of its imprisonment Jenova had the form of a naked cetra lady.
2 - Sephiroth went mad a Nibelheim because he thought Jenova was an Ancient and therefore he too was an Ancient.
He also went mad because he was too close to Jenova, so she started to control him to release her and help her; the same happened to Cloud every time he faced Jenova, because of her cells.
also i dont think barret founded avalanche, pretty sure he just joined
@@ikeillue8385 Further clarification: Sephiroth actually controls Jenova, not the other way around.
Red wasn’t supposed to become a sephiroth clone - his species has incredible longevity (he’s like 50 in the game, which is the human equivalent of 12) and so Hojo wanted to breed him with Aerith to try to create a Cetra who could essentially live “forever”…long enough to withstand their testing

i like how clouds nemesis is just like hey bro there's a reunion you should come *then causally floats away*
Lot of important details that need to be mentioned:
* Jenova isn't actually the woman with the heart/umbilical cord growing out of her.
Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks
This ∆
something like 'that isn't Jenova, that's Jenova's monster'
where's the sauce for "that is an infected cetra woman"
In all the published media that I can find, while it is stated Jenova infiltrated the cetra, taking on their form... it does not state explicity that it took a male or female form. While it could be extrapolated or suggested that, that IS the reason it has that female figure it may not be definitive proof or the actual reason.
However, Tifa does not actually point out anything. She doesn't confront Cloud. She keeps to herself, and his story is taken for granted by the group, and by the player. Everything went to shit because of jenova, end of story.
20:00, I was dissapointed for not having the third "He is hojo dude, he is crazy"
I finally understand the plot of a childhood favorite game of mine. The explanation in the video single handedly made me say to myself " I get it now!"
I love that Cloud's hair cannot be contained by anything!
Ok, but where's the part where the superhuman named Sephiriath causes tension with Aeriath Gainsborough?
But where's the part where Rosalinda from Mealy comes in?
I remember first seeing my college buddy playing it back in like 98' or so. He was actually fighting Hojo at the Sister Ray and trying his best to explain the story while trying to beat him
"...Lucrecia blamed herself for the death of Vincent's father, soooo she started a relationship with butt-ugly Hojo." I literally had tears from laughing at this so hard and rewinding it 10 times.🤣🤣🤣
For real. Erased about 70 percent of my childhood by making me laugh that hard. LOL
very intersting. i really liked it. a couple of simple errors, like calling them "centra" instead of "cetra", among others, but overall, it was a great video. definitely worth the watch
Last place I'd expect you to pop up. Big fan of your stuff.
They blew up two reactors instead of just one too.
My boy!!
Yup
And the planet I think is called "Gaia" not just "The Planet."
Actually Hojo wanted to reproduce Aerith with Red XIII because his species live for 500 years, so he wanted a test subject that would live enough for an extensive research
That’s… even worse lol
This is incredibly well done. A difficult story to tell without being the one who played it, but you made it very lucid! Subbed.
ok but can we talk about that adorable drawing of sephiroth
I swear it made me “AWWWWW!”
Baby Sephy is honestly adorable.
okay.
im gonna need that image of Cloud in a wheelchair on a t-shirt.
Also there’s a theory that aerith wasn’t all the way dead when they buried her, since dead bodies tend to float, and the location of the stab wound didn’t kill her, but the deceptively deep pool did 😅
Cloud accidentally drowning Aerith is hilarious
aerith pranking their friends into thinking shes dead
cloud drowns her without knowing it was a joke
Bruh... The sword went straight though her poking out the other end, and why are so many murdered bodies thrown in the sea?
Dead bodies may float eventually but it's not like: you dead, float mode activated. 🥴
@@JoeKing-lv5rfbecause the sea is big, and as for the sword this comment is a joke
I like the fact you put in the detail of zack using the dull side of the buster sword.
Sephtiroth: "Hey Jenova mind if I can kill people"
Jenova: "Only a Swords length"
Sephtiroth: *Unsheathes a Comically large sword*
Sephiroth practices social distancing.
lol true
It's an odachi.
Even sephiroth gets it smh

Great summary! The one thing I'll add is that Red XIII was captured by Shinra so that they could utilize his long lifespan while experimenting with the Cetra. Not faulting you for that though, it's a very easy detail to miss.
This was a very good explanation. There were always some things about final fantasy vii that I couldn't piece together. Now things kinda make sense
I kinda miss when this series could be called “poorly drawn...”
Nah
There was one video with that title

I know right? Smh, how could he get better at drawing... ;)
When you realize that ff7 literally the whole story could’ve been avoided with just hojo not existing or dying
16:38 the real sephiroth is the friends we made along the way
The jenova research always took place in nibelheim. Vincent’s flashbacks all took place in the Shinra manor.
Ironically, it turns out nibelheim is Sephiroth’s hometown, too. Jenova wasn’t moved to Midgar till after the nibelheim incident
Safer-Sephiroth, yet he somehow had 3 children made from him.
Should’ve used protection.
Omfg 💀

Yeah shoulda used his sword instead lol
I think it's supposed to be seraphim sephiroth.
it’s seraph. the creator of this video got it wrong
I thought the ancients were called Cetra
They were

Oh good. I was hoping to not be the only one to want to comment on that.
Its been 24 years and Im still learning something new about FF7. Makes me wonder if I even played the video game lol.
The planet is called Gaia
I am really glad to see at last someone explaining that NO, the one who stab...(natural cause) Shinra's president and so on wasn't Sephiroth himself (well at least not his physical body) and NO we're not chasing the real Sephiroth the entire game.
Got bored in my childhood discussing this game and hearing years after years "Jenova was a cetra, ..."
Great video, got a new subscriber!
I haven't watched enough Anime to understand all this.
5:06 Cloud has some good taste in Woman
“Natural Causes” being the actual name of the insane katana is now my favorite head cannon
"Babe, wake up. Chase kip remembered the password of his youtube account"
After so many years, and hearing the plot told so quickly... I realized, whY I FREAKIN LOVE FF7!
(Jenova is an alien that goes around consuming planets, fusing their existence with its own)
Just like the game, his FF IX video will now be buried in obscurity.
Yeah
Unfortunately 😔
Of course it’s my favorite
don't be like that, it's still his best video currently so i don't think so
We can't let that happen 😡
His FFIX video has over 1.2 million views and I just watched it myself because I found the channel through this video..
But you can whine if you want, I guess.
FF and Kirby have wizards of old called “the Ancients” who sealed away an primordial cursed entity out of fear of death and destruction.
*Crossover inbound?!?*
Pretty much, ever seen those jokes about Kirby with sephirot's powers?
@@MyNameisRevenant KIRBYROTH
I’d play that
Why is Kirby with anime hair in final fantasy so funny. I have a feeling his ability would just that he pulls out a gun.
15:24 I replayed the game last year and what surprised me is that Cloud also starts hitting Aerith when controlled.
I had to find out what would happen next after rebirth. i can't wait 4 years. But playing FF7 from 1997 is painful, even on Miyoo
