Good to see Elsa back on the channel
Let it Go, Bro!
The hot wheels loop was all I needed to see, adding everything to my grocery list now

This is my favorite recipe so far. I even made extra sauce just to have on hand to make quick tasty rice bowls
Made this for my meal prep this week. They turned out great! Thanks for the recipe.
We've made this twice (so far) and absolutely love it. Really great recipe!
All the recipes I have tried are excellent! Thank you Josh!!
I've been using your recipes religiously for over a now. This bowl is my new favorite. Keep up the good work!
Glad you like them!
Did your dijon chicken pasta, was great! Will do this tomorrow. Thank you so much for these recipes!
Hey man I just finished prepping and I’ve gotta say this is one of my favorite meals so far, quick easy and delicious, thank you!
Made this for the week and it is fabulous!
This was AWESOME! My picky son even loved this! Thank you! You are a riot. Love your jokes. Love your low calorie recipes. Please keep them coming!
wow you made that fast, glad everyone enjoyed it
Really enjoyed today's portion! Definitely will make again. Thanks Josh!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the rice bowls!!
love your recipes
I love your videos
Glad you enjoy them 🫡
Hell yeah dude! Can’t wait to make this one this week!
mmm yes i remember that quote by mother teresa awe inspiring
Made this today, super good.
I love your recipes!
Thank you 🫡
I made this last night and it turned out great! I used a tad more soy sauce and added a couple tablespoons of chili garlic paste.
I love this channel so much that I decide to make all recipes and rate them on a 1-5 Meal Prep Container scale I came up with.
Criteria: to keep the rating more interesting, only 2,5 points are dedicated to overall quality of the dish minutes after preparing. The other 2,5 points will be distributed depending on how texture and flavor changes after reheating or storing in a fridge for longer period. For example if dish tastes amazing fresh but taste like crap after 2 days of keeping a fridge, it will get low score.
This one is going to be easy 4,5/5 MPCs. The only gripe is the chicken thigh, which always tastes funny to me when stored in a fridge and reheated, but the sauce is flavorful enough that is masks those weird aromas quite well. It still tasted good 5 days after preparing and I’m confident the frozen one will be as delicious as others were.
amazing, glad you like the channel 😎
Made this for lunch this week and it's pretty dang good. I was wishing there was still more in the container when I finished today. It's not spicy at all. At all. I'll make this again and will keep increasing the sriracha until I find the right amount.
You could also make more, put in the freezer to lock the freshness in and then take out the night before you need it. I’ve been making your meal prep meals, the Asian ground Turkey bowl is awesome
Yea tbh I'd be nervous eating 5 day old rice and chicken especially rice that was heated twice and I'm not someone who really cares about that type of thing. I eat old food all the time.
Great vid 🙏🏼
Hey bro, first time meal prepping here. I saw the video you made (meal prep for 2024), and i just tried to make this today, it tastes sooo good, and your instructions are so easy to follow, I swear I felt so proud and accomplished 😂
Mea prep mission 1: success✅
I am yet to figure out your snack kingdom situation - i’ll see how it goes with prepping snacks
Tldr; THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! 🙏🏻
Just made this (saw the recipe on the website). Will have it for lunch tomorrow. Keep them coming
Whoop whoop 😎
How was it?
@@-Chvnce One of the best recipes Josh has so far. Gotta try it out.
@@sh2575 Whoo hoo!! Nice, I'm going to try it this week. Thanks for the response, hopefully I can find some Sriracha somewhere in this Sriracha shortage!
I do 5 days not just for freshness. But it's purely for the work week. On the weekend I can do single day foods that take varrying effort and break the monotony.
exact same as what i do 👍👍
Saw that on your website yesterday and made it today. Sans the spicy stuff. Should be good tonight I think from the taste testing I did.
Quick with it 😎
I don't often comment but I made this and am currently eating it and this is damn good!!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it 😎
The bagged broccoli from Costco is the best. It comes out cheaper than buying a stalk, with no waste.
it was a revelation when i discovered this
Im definitely making this! Just a heads up though, on your website this recipe is listed as gluten free, but Soy sauce isnt gluten free. Tamari is a gf alternative.
Josh love the videos but where did you find name brand sriracha
My mouth is watering
Looks good thank you
Love your Videos. 😊
Glad you like them!
I love the return of the hot wheels loop
Sick hot wheels action goes so well with the veggie hate. Thanks for this!
Josh is out here doing the lords work. Saving my flight attendant ass from over spending my per diems on multi day pairs
what do you use/ how do you sharpen your knife? I feel like I've never cut cooked chicken that easily...
4:39 - uses the fork like a normal person. Hooooray!!!!
Also, this recipe is legit, well done!
Hey Josh. I know you cooking set up is for the camera. I am curious though. Do you have a griddle top that maybe you use for when not in front of the camera? Kids just bought me for Father’s Day. Holy cow what change for meal prepping. Also browning is awesome on the griddle.
Thanks again a for all that you do. Made my life so much easier.
I don’t but I’ve considered buying some kind of portable flat top
can use peanut butter powder to lower the calories too!
With all of the food channels on youtube you'd think it wouldn't have taken until 2023 for someone to realize that there was a disgusting shortage of Hot Wheels B-roll footage.
I wish I had another track
any way to do this as a one pot meal in a 9x13. would love to do that if possible
I have the same Elsa cup
That was the hardest hot wheels flex the world has ever seen
5 meals, 7 days. But, what do you make and eat the other days in between?
Well let's give this one a lot of thumbs-up. Don't want to see you beaten up. When I heard peanut you got my attention. Making this next week. Just can't go to Costco because I have to wait for my replacement card. Ugh!
thank you for your service
My 3yo son just watched this with me, and can’t stop laughing! He is convinced that your hands are speaking to us 🤣
lol
Where did you source your siracha sauce from? I have not been able to find that brand for over a year!
HEB
I just realised i was using sesame seed oil, and not sesame oil. Seems seed oil is roasted version thats more flavorful, idk if its better or not but it smells like really flavorful bacon in liquid form so im probably gunna keep using it kver the lighter sesame oil
Are you using 6 qt air fryer or 10 qt?
Is there a different peanut butter i should have used? I just got GV creamy peanut butter. Its not really disolving into the sauce when i mix. Its just staying as peanut butter clumps XD
Microwave it
@@TheMealPrepManual too late. Already added it, shared to family, and now lettin it cool before boxing. Another swish of a meal from josh. Never used sesame oil before but holy hell does it smell good. Use that in more recipes please!
Busy cooking this right now. Definetly a sub hour recipe.
Update. This is so far, the best meal I've cooked from this channel. Wow it's amazing, even with my somewhat overcooked chicken 😁
Glad you like it 🫡
Is this something that could be frozen? It's only me and the same meal everday would make me crazy! Any chance you could indicate which recipes are good freezer candidates?
There is a tag for freezer friendly recipes on my website but I only use it if it is something I have personally tested in the freezer. I don’t like to freeze any of my actual meals so not many of them get the tag, however many people who make the recipes do freeze them, I just don’t like to
LETS GO
Hmm I don't know Josh, I'm starting to think that Hot Wheels track you were "mistakenly" sent wasn't a mistake at all. Maybe they just knew about your daring, Speed Racer lifestyle.
they better send me another one that is way cooler
Dawg how are you cleaning that sheet pan? Looks like it got some serious burning on it from the broiling
I just used soap and water and scraped it off. Usually I put down a piece of foil but I forgot this time
Can i just use whey protein instead of casein? Kidding aside thanks for another great recipe. Think we can substitute pb2 instead of actual peanut butter? I recognize its not a huge amount so the macros aren't anything to stress over, just have it already in the pantry.
Yes probably
what tabletop induction thing are you using?
im not sure the model. Its about 6 years old from amazon and it's a complete and total piece of shit that doesn't work well at all
I'm sure you get this question a lot, but what kind of portable burner do you use?
im not sure the model. Its about 6 years old from amazon and it's a complete and total piece of shit that doesn't work well at all
I used powdered peanut butter to cut down on calories (not like it has many to begin with) and loved the taste. Highly recommend if you have it.
As weird as it sounds it works great as a condiment for the bowl. Maybe I just really like peanut butter
can i use greek yogurt instead of mayo?
yes
So would you still cook dinner each night having only prepped lunches?
Yeah or somedays ill double up on this meal and just prep again midweek
im sorry but im a little confused. how much are you putting into each of the 5 containers in grams ? i really hope you see this as i want to make this for this coming Monday meal prep but i am confused by how much you are putting into each of the 5 containers in grams to make 1 serving?
You just evenly divide how ever much you make by 5
I’ll be making this when the peanut allergy kid goes back to university
What do you make for dinners?
Some days I’ll just eat whatever I meal prep for lunch and dinner. Other days I’ll throw something together real quick. I eat a lot of stir fries like this one
What do you eat for your other meals during the day? Surely 600 calories is too low.
I eat whatever I feel like throwing together. I just only meal prep one meal a week
Can’t find sriracha anywhere tho 😔
I had to buy the off brand. The regular stuff is out everywhere
Bro, where can you get sriracha?
I had to buy off brand stuff. the good kind is out everywhere
This looks delicious but who on earth can actually find any Sriracha right now???
I cant find Sriracha
Question: Chicken in the air fryer, why not?
I’d do it
0:11 just some casual hot wheels, 10/10
Sriracha still exists? I thought it was not in store because shortage of chilis or fermented chilis
Nooooo I saw this drop on the recipe index yesterday but went grocery shopping before today :'( looked so good
Instead I'm prepping your hidden veggie mac n cheese and cheeseburger skillet instead this week!
Two good choices though 👍
@@TheMealPrepManual fucking true the mac n cheese is GOATed. No veggies in sight but they are in my tummy
Amen

I can't find siracha at my grocery store anymore :(
I had to buy off brand cause my store is out of the good stuff too
There's a shortage. The area in Mexico that grows the chilies has been in a drought for awhile now
@@polo2132no sambal oelek or chili garlic paste either 😭
I'd recommend next time try and roast the peanuts in the oven before adding to the dish will improve texture and flavor.
i recommend roasting them in the microwave on a paper towel. more even roasting, less likely to burn, just go low and slow
You could always buy dry roasted peanuts as well
@pubcollize if you can't roast peanuts in your oven you might want to consider letting someone cook for you. That's kinda like telling someone to cook bacon in the microwave sure you can do it but. Just use the oven.
@@JustSumGuy I'm sorry for offending you, SumGuy.
@pubcollize giving bad cooking advice is not offensive but thanks I guess?
I wanna see more bulking videos fs
Maybe next Sunday or the following week I'll get another one posted
@@TheMealPrepManual thanks 🫶🏿
Why do you measure your rice after cooking? It's easier to measure uncooked rice since it won't always weigh the same after cooking it consistently.
Because it’s easier to standardize. Different kinds of rice and preparation methods yield different amounts of cooked rice. Also because I surveyed my followers once and roughly half the people that make my recipes use premade or frozen rice so it just is easier to use cooked weights for rice
I just hate how the amount varies from 14g to 15g on what a table spoon is :D
Thats because a tablespoon of lead, will weigh more, than a tablespoon of feathers.
I really thought he retired the Elsa bowl
i have 4 extras in case they break
Where the hell are you getting Sriracha right now?
I had to buy off brand
@TheMealPrepManual haha i assumed so. Otherwise i was going to be in your DMs asking for the plug 🤣
In regards to the 5 meals at a time, isn't that 2.5 days worth of meals? Not including breakfast. I eat my meal prep for lunch and dinner. Maybe he makes something different for dinner.
I usually only meal prep one of my meals or if i do eat a dish more than once a day i'll just prep again mid week
@@TheMealPrepManual gotcha. Thanks for the reply!
Mother Teresa definitely said that 😂
She did. I was there
Who else watches these but has no intention of making them because they are too lazy to buy all the ingredients and then cook it?
me
Might be my bad, but this dish was a L for me. There's raw garlic in the sauce so my entire dish was overshadowed by that. Chicken wasn't that good either, sorry don't mean to hate, love the channel and everything else I've tried, we all have different tastes and preferences :D
Too much oil. You can do with 10% of that. Also you you use just a little bit of oil you can "grill" the chicken using skillet and works perfect
