I am so glad to be able to see inside this building. Thank you. I've driven past that place SO many times and never knew it was a chapel. I always thought it was a home.
I visited George in 1992 when the Church was fully up & running. HIs wife was called Nan. Together they put their heart and soul into building this. It was bilt it for weary travellers and those needing help. I remember a brook running by the side of the church. He was a lovely man and so was his wife. We kept in touch via letter for many years until he sadly passed away. So sad to see it in this way. I have photographs of the church and our time with them back in 1992 when the Church was really beautiful and very much loved.
i like
Larry Nichols is my Dad. He just passed away in March. We still own that property. He had great visions for that property and intended to make good use of the property to win more souls for the Kingdom of God. Unfortunately, the property is in a flood zone and has been hit several times by flood waters. However, like you said, the structure is amazing and the intricate details with the Bible verses in the stone is beautiful. The man that built it did a great job gathering all those stones. I can't imagine how long that took him. We asked FEMA to help is rebuild after a flood waters that really did it in, but to no avail. I would love someone to restore it, but not sure what could really be done. It was truly a special place.
I'm very sorry to hear about your father's passing. I have great memories of filming the church and think of it often, a shame there's so much flooding there. It's nice to hear from you, and thanks for your forgiveness about the trespassing. 💜 Take care.
I would love to speak with your family about this property. George was my uncle and I am interested is finishing what he started.
Such beauty and labor should be restored. .thanks for sharing
So very pretty and the video is well done.
Amazing place!
It's a shame to see that beautiful building wasting away. Really enjoy your narration voice and content
Thanks! :)
Nice man! Just subbed. I like your music and editing skills.
Thanks man! I appreciate it
beautiful serene place and you have such a wonderfully calming voice. Ever thought of narrating audio books? Many thanks for sharing
Thanks Jacky! I haven't considered that before but I appreciate the suggestion : )
It is actually in Lincoln County KY and unfortunately the creek has flooded it out numerous times, severely damaging it in 2010. Nice place poor location.
That explains a lot!
beautiful!
+Leo Lee Thanks for watching!

Amazing story and video!
+Kathy Stidham Thanks Kathy!
The Organ looked like a Lowery Magic Genie, not exactly a church instrument.
I would love to make a trip there, no land owner or is there.lol
So sad to see it falling apart. Such a waste.
This is weird. Has anyone looked into the possible "youth" being alone and maybe sexually molested? It just has a creepy feel to it.
