metrowash I love this video. No 30 minutes of BS talking before getting to the point and no loud unnecessary music. Silent, detailed, and straight to the point!
Thank you for this :) I'll find out later today or tomorrow what style my car has, but knowing what things to look for will make it much less frustrating for a novice :)
Extremely useful video! After reviewing I was able to fabricate my own tool from a Sharpe cap. Although I wasn't disconnecting a a quick connection of the same diameter but same type
thanks for the video ,I had hell getting the tool in, was not much room, but i watched this video about using a screwdriver and it cam on out .Good informative video thxxxx...!
I see so we need to line up the tools slot just as in the clip. What I've also found is that some times there's not enough room to even install the tool so when this happens the Dremel trims the tool down nicely.
ummm its a safety thing??? theres nothing more important than those lines sealing perfectly and never coming undone and not having anything that could be bumped and release the line..... plus it keeps people to stupid to work on cars from doing it
Bruce Truong yeah they should do it the old way so the repair people can charge more? because it will take longer? Actually this is one of the smarter things they came up with. usually foreign car makes come up with the clever stuff to save time and make things easier on the mechanic. Like mounting the fuse block where you can get to it without standing on your head.
womackke I miss the old plastic clip that was easy to pull off with a flathead. Never caused a leak and was better then this stuff. So you have a valid point Womackke.
thanks, its so much easier to use a tool once you understand what you're trying to do with it.

Thank you for sharing! 👍
lol, thanks for showing us... I would have tried to use mine on the outside lol.. the instruction on the back of my set are hopeless.
viewed four videos. Three were nothing but talk, this one none at all. Screw it, I'll figure it out.

I. Want buy tool please where is find
Any way to remove this contraption without this tool?
Can carefully shove 2 very small screwdrivers in and pry the plastic tabs outwards. Or make a tool from a pen cap
Bad designs in the first place, why? to benefit those in the repair business. Typical American cars/designer.

It all seems designed to frustrate do it yourselfers. Especially Ford more importantly f150, specifically 1997 model, deliberately the 4.2 l
