5mins & 41seconds in and I can tell you have a beefy setup. My laptop would probably blow up with that amount of grass and trees. Anytime I'm making environments that involve trees and grass, I solely keep them to just the view of the camera & that's pretty tasking even at that. Anything more and I won't be able to move in the viewport atall. The density is super low, only to the extent I really need. The hill trick at 5:04, never considered that. I'm going to be using that moving forward. Anyways, really good video so far. Going to finish up now 🙌🏾
Thanks! And yeah learning that trick with the hill really helps sell the realism. In my first couple of environments you could just tell the world ended at a certain point
Amusing. I literally saw "environments in Blender" and though "hmm... in blender? Don't see that very often" so clearly there is a content gap and youtube steered you well haha.
@@baeaccan you expand on that for me. I am unable to understand the term used in this message of how you did interpolation and hence cut down your time by half? Thanks a lot in advance.
@@vishisht8688 i used a program that looks at frame 1 and frame 3 and then kind of guesses what frame 2 should be and that way you dont have to render frame 2,, the program then does this for as many frames as you have in your animation hope that helped!
Wish I could make such things too xd At least I hope I'll put my a** down, and be able in the future xD Such an amazing render, that's so beautiful. How many hours did it take to get finished? Also, what OS do you use? Windows, MacOS, Linux? In case that you are using Windows, they say that in Linux, blender takes less time at some parts. Just in case that you would like to try it.
I saw do oyu use a material for the scattering. Otherwise I see in my program the trees are animated now with the wind animaiton, but when I saw them in the camera they are static. what can I do@@baeac
it probably took about a minute per frame and i used interpolation so i only had to render half the frames. that totals out at around an hour per animation (animations were 5 seconds long)
I would love to make scenes like this but, I think my laptop would explode lol. Do you have any suggestions to make scene similar to this without having much load on the hardware? Laptop Specs: Ryzen 7 4800h GTX 1650 8 gb ram
you could always have some more low poly trees in the background and cut out some of the animation in the background! hardware limitations really suck but i think with enough creativity you can always get about the same results. back in the day i used to render a single tree with a transparent background and i would use that image as trees in my backgrounds

Your example is too basic and isn't convincing for most of us . perhaps If you were recreating some ancient lost or destroyed architecture or a scenery described in a book or a city in the past or something like that , only then it would make sense to use chatgpt to do the research work on the trees ,surrounding landscapes, type of architecture style , density of building , important monuments to get maximum realism, if someone needs chatgpt for basic environments like this then his/her creativity level is that of a teaspoon.

What did you use for the environment lighting, it looks beautiful, is this something that comes with botaniq?

Nice work. What were you final render stats per frame?
i think it was about a minute per frame but i used interpolation so i only had to render half
@@baeac That's really good. Even using Turbo Tools, I am hitting at least 15 minutes a frame for a 4K animation. Some as high as 45 minutes per frame.
