RIP you will be missed John the most modest gentle big guy I’ve ever watched. I’ve based my training by your teachings after I stopped strength training.
Shit ..so he actually died ..I thought stupid people were taking the piss ...rip I've just started watching his videos seems like a very knowledgeable guy with great experience..reminds me of my old trainer old-school style
I don’t mind cussing. But the fact that the cuss words get edited out just adds to John’s all American dad wholesome persona and makes me love him even more.
Makes it so much easier to watch with my girlfriends little girls running around me. When I watch Derek from more plates more dates I have to adjust the volume to very low because of the cussing.
John looks like the nicest guy in the world but when he trains he looks like he will beat someone’s ass. This has truly become my bible on training. I really love all your videos brother, thank you for them and please keep em coming!
Mr. Meadows, you are the only person I can watch measure a bicep without shaking my head at the tape not capturing the thickest part of a person's arm. I also have tons of respect for how calm and thoughtful you are until you pick up weight and switch into a vicious punisher of muscle fibre.
Rest in peace Mountain Dog Meadows. Thank you for the workout programmes over the years. The hi everybody will never feel the same again. My condolences go out to your family and your fans will ensure your legacy and legend stays strong. Goodbye big man.
Just found out that John has sadly passed. Such a shame, what an absolute gent. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to him on here. Will be sorely missed...RIP big fella.
Crocodile Dundee was a movie from the mid 80s but you really don't even have to specify the year, absolutely everyone is familiar with it or at least I think so maybe the younger generations aren't familiar
I like when they are doing the tricep extension that John is putting his fingertips on Juji's tricep. No matter how much experience you have, or how well you have developed your mind-muscle connection - sometimes having a partner to actually provide outside stimulus to the area you're trying to work can really help you concentrate on that area. For instance, because of my leverages and genetics bench press really works my chest well so I don't need to focus on it so much. In fact, my chest, triceps, back, calves and glutes really respond to training well. But I have crap leverages and genetics for shoulders, quads, and biceps - which unfortunately are prime movers in making you look like you actually lift. If you don't have a partner, this is what has worked for me. On muscle groups that you are weak on and need to work on...put a little bit of athletic tape on the area. Just that little exterior stimulus of the stickiness of the tape can help you really target where the effort should be coming from. Does it make me look weird? Yep. But I have a pretty solid home gym so I don't care how I look working out.
Interesting idea! In my 30+yrs of training I haven’t run across that advice. I too have poor bicep genetics, and like you said, it is the premier showcase muscle to the average person so it’s been a life long frustration of mine to be relatively underdeveloped in this area! I’ll give some tape a try. Thanks!
Mountain Dog is by far my favourite person/bodybuilder out there, what I love more than anything else is how much he wants the person he is training to succeed and do well. Not to forget his intensity is amazing.
Thanks for everything, John! I thoroughly enjoyed your work and appreciate your work in all areas of life. My heart goes out to your family. Rest in peace
Oh my gosh, I just heard that John passed in his sleep. He is one of my favorites. Seems like such a nice fellow. My condolences to his family! So sorry
RIP John. Hes such a big inspiration for me. The dude was really so smart about his training. I've been adopting a lot of his principles with training in general, and the progress has been absolutely unreal. In just 6 weeks, my arms have no joke grown, so much, and got so much stronger. I love you, Mr Medows. Thank you for everything.
I did my workout alongside your collaberation here ! Really inspired me to push on and do a bit more. Im 49 yrs old and Im still pumping Iron, its never easy and maybe that's why I continue love doing it ! John ....your an inspiration !
What John said there about Juji, it shows if you've watched alot of him. Very genuine guy, and I think both of them together is quite rare of a couple of awesomeness. Just genuinely good people. There's so much ego and bullshit in this industry, with these two guys, no ego, just good will towards everyone.
The double rope pulldown is by far the best tricep exercise I've done. John's arm routine is just top notch in general. Super setting with smart movements. Great stuff.
John, if You could give my dad some workout tips up there where You both are, that would be great. He always admired "old school" bodybuilders with their discipline and dedication and reminded me that if some od the Pro's like You could build awesome physiques - from scrawny boys to peak muscularity- using just discipline, nutrition heavy iron and simple machines then no matter what is my starting point and how limited my resources are I can and should strive for greatness. He was a great workout buddy and can grill a mean steak and chicken, nevermind a proper "kotlet schabowy"...I miss him every day still, 20 Years later, and You John will too be missed greatly by everyone touched by your kind heart. The best people always leave us way too soon. You were an inspiration and positive influence for far many more people than You thought. Rest in Peace, Big Guy, You will be remembered.
Dang it of course I did arms yesterday. I can't wait to try this routine. Juji you are a lucky man to train with one of the greatest of all time. Great video, I always learn something new!
Got all my gym buddies hooked to this channel as well. Thank you for posting quality content that is literally helping change my own life (down 30 lbs so far this year) as well as my family and friends. Love the Juji collab! Hyped for this one!
I am absolutely astonished by the pure strength in the bicep tendon after watching Eddie Hall's surgery to reattach his tendon, which didn't look very big for the amount of stress it goes through. I can't watch a bicep workout like this without cringing anymore!
If you have lagging body parts that seem like there plateauing this guy will save your life he knows how to make that muscle Pop and grow greatest coach of all time IMO
Tbh I think (no expert so I might be wrong but this is what I observe) Juji's biceps have already really improved since last year. I think the main thing holding his arms back at this point is the long head of the tricep. Compared to John's that's what seems to be missing which is what gives it the more impressive appearance because it really rounds out the back of the arm to match the delts
What an awesome collab. Rip John, can’t tell you how much content I’ve been watching of yours. It’s amazing what you dedicated to fitness and sharing knowledge. Love you.
This is godly. Loved it through and trough. Sure, I'm biased loving all vids but this collab sure was exceptional. I belive my arms grew just from the cheer wholesomeness. 💪🏻
The two most wholesome guys in UA-cam fitness. What a great collaboration.
Biggest problem with this collab is juji didnt do a yoyo trick
And they're both named John. Love these guys
My exact thoughts, just two of the kindest hearted fitness guys on youtube. Keep it coming!

Its the first name its gotta be

Big fan of you Juji!
Man ya gotta about all John recommends. Heck he’s the best fitness UA-camr. No drama no BS.
Do more collab with John,brother..It was really soothing to watch you two working out together
I’d never thought of that before. Genius!
I don’t mind cussing. But the fact that the cuss words get edited out just adds to John’s all American dad wholesome persona and makes me love him even more.
Meh, I respect it, but I like cuss words too
Videos with cussing are not eligible to make money...…..
Makes it so much easier to watch with my girlfriends little girls running around me. When I watch Derek from more plates more dates I have to adjust the volume to very low because of the cussing.
@@SLF1990 her kids first word was ‘trenbolone’?
Lol have to keep the gainz monetized
Juji always seems like a totally genuine and decent dude.
he is - it's not an act - he is the real deal
Was really cool how he seemed so flattered and grateful that John said nice things of him.
A genuinely kind man and Ohio legend. RIP John, will be truly missed.
Rest in peace John, you gave so much to the community and beyond. Taken a lot of tips from your training videos, what a legacy you have left ❤
Jujimufu builds a giant home gym...to go to a gym to work out with the Mountain Dog. Solid choice Juji.
:)
John looks like the nicest guy in the world but when he trains he looks like he will beat someone’s ass. This has truly become my bible on training. I really love all your videos brother, thank you for them and please keep em coming!
He passed away yesterday
@ who John?
@@mikeggg1979 yes sadly he didnt wake up. Check out the community tab on youtube
Maybe the two nicest people in the industry
Give me a channel with nothing but Juji and John working out together and I’ll get excited for every video like Saturday morning cartoons.

I’ve only recently found John meadows videos and I cannot stop watching them! He is was such a good soul🙏
When John flexed his arm for measurement I remember the scene from Crocodile Dundee in the 90s... "That's not a knife! This is a knife!"
Crocodile Dundee was a movie from the mid 80s but you really don't even have to specify the year, absolutely everyone is familiar with it or at least I think so maybe the younger generations aren't familiar
@@Bushey4545 Probably watched it in the 90`s lol ;)
Been looking forward to this one. The Dogfather as Ultimate Warrior is all I need
I think he resembles Macho Man. Oh yeeeah!

I will definitely be giving this a try. Thanks!
I am going to try this even john liked it, good explanation by the way.
What a Mind-F*** it has to be to show up to train with John while he's wearing "I must break you" Rocky shirt.
LOL

I like how when you see people posing sometimes they're not doing it to show off but they're seeing themselves slowly become the ones they look up to.
