Prefacing this by saying I genuinely enjoy these vids and a lot of the advice has been helpful in styling my clothes for the office! That being said, the only fashion advice I consistently don’t understand is when an entire outfit is built around a coat. Don’t get me wrong, I do like the looks, but as someone who grew up in a “you have one coat for winter, one coat for rain, and one coat you only wear with your nicest dress” situation, my brain just refuses to understand building a look around a coat, especially because you’re usually just going to take it off once you get where you’re going. Maybe a more fashionable person could explain it to me in a way my “grew up lower-working class” brain can comprehend 😂
It’s alright. I like her outfits too, but I live in an area in SE Asia and the temperatures never get below 20 😅 There are always still other ways to enhance the styling apart from putting on a huge coach and 101 layers of other types of jacket
Think of it this way: your one coat cost a fortune, so style ALL your outfits to match the coat. In other words: you’re not really styling an outfit to match the coat, you’re using a coat that goes with everything. And that’s so easy to do when you work with basics and a colour pallet. Which is what my working class mum did and she always looked fantastic 😘
Loving your style inspo Dear Lydia! ❤ I commented previously that we even have the exact same, or really similar items in our wardrobes without even knowing about it. 😅 You’re such an amazing fashion inspiration with such a lovely personality 🥰 Keep up this amazing work xx
Love the beige cardigan from Arket! It's too bad that they don't have Arket in the US. 😢 For those who want to get it, there are similar from Axel Arigato "Memory Relaxed Cardigan" and Jenni Kayne "Cooper Cardigan." Axel Arigato's cardigan is thick though and it is extreme bell sleeve and longer in the arms, you'll have to fold the sleeves, which is another way they want you to style. EDIT: Jenni Kayne's "Cropped Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan" is another similar one. Jenni Kayne carries lots of different cardigans, so browse around. These cardigans are all on the pricier side. BUT the look and quality is there!
@@Sheldon0507 Haven't found any that are on the cheaper side that I liked. As always, there is H&M, Mango, Zara. Personally, I don't love all of their items and don't shop there; end up returning anyway. Other brands: Sézane, Banana Republic. But I find that these two brands did not carry the anything similar to the Arket cardigan except for Jenni Kayne and Axel Arigato and of course, the original brand that started these trending similar styles: Khaite. AND lastly, use Google. Google a specific style, color and cardigan and you might find some lower priced cardigans. You'll be surprised to find new unknown brands. There are many more UK brands, Swedish brands and Australian brands on the rise.
@@Sheldon0507 Replied, but my comment either got lost or deleted. I'll keep it short. There are no cheaper brands I found that have similar look to the Arket cardigan. If you don't mind trying other brands that carry cardigans, although not the exact or similar item, there's Sézane, Banana Republic, H&M, Mango, Zara, Abercrombie & Fitch. Hope this helps! AND use Google to simply clarify and specify the item you're looking for.
@@Sheldon0507 Sorry, but my replies have been deleted twice. Don't think YT wants me posting brand names or anything. Use Google and be specific. You'll find some affordable brands. Personally, the ones I listed in my original post would be the closest to the Arket cardigan. Ironically, Arket is very affordable!

Can you give the link to the shoulder pads because Amazon has so many and it’s all “ frequently returned “
You might one to visit your local sewing/fabric shop. They usually have ones that have been tried and tested.

Thank you! Some of the prettiest clothes are not available in the US. I love the cardigan too!
Any cardigans that you know of that look similar but aren’t soooo expensive?!? Thanks 😊

i love your vibe girl 💫 fresh & classic!
i was wondering if you had any recommendations for a proper trench xo
The layered look with jeans looks awful. Looks like someone was working the garden and threw on a nice coat and handbag.
Classy love a good trench
Love the cardi/jacket in the “shoulder pad” segment. Where can I buy the cardi/jacket?
Here in Georgia layering in the spring in summer isn't pliable here way too warm I mean HOT.
Todos me gustaron!! ❤
White socks????😢
Yes. White T. She looks smashing 😉
I love that cardigan, but alas I could not find a link. Even a brand name would help?
Not your best looks I'm afraid.
