In my opinion he was the best , he never cared about fame or fortune, just wanted to play his music for us. Went broke 3 times and payed backed everyone he owed
Sad day when Waylon passed away! I cried and drank all damn night long and played Waylon all night long until the neighbors called the law and the law told the neighbors that he ought to take them to jail for having bad taste in music if they were offended for me cranking Waylon until the windows vibrated and thought they'd break!
My brother in law just passed away 2 weeks ago. I've known him since I was 15 years old. Miss him so much but this was his music. I know he is in peace. I have beautiful memories of my Sal.
Absolutely magnificent singer, he played music on the Hopi Indian reservation. I being full blood Native American Indian woman, I would drive up to the reservation to hear him sing in 1960's.

This is when Country music was REAL Music. Unlike Most of this Crap that they Try to call music today that is not fit to even be called music of any sort? We Need & Better get Back to the Basics of Life while we may still have a little bit of a chance to. IF, we don't at least Try to set our kids & Grandkids Back on the Right path Now? When our generation is gone. Ther'll be No Hope at ALL for them Come On people WAKE the HELL UPPP!! GOD HELP US!!
I like that blues guitar Waylon plays with. Anytime your feeling sick and down I think listening to Waylon music that few hits of whiskey is a good remedy to wake anybody up certainly empowers the soul.
That is exactly why im here brother .. Listening to this real stuff they all tell a very similar story . You dont become this dam good by continuing to run after you know the truth.. These kinda guys keep me fighting . Cody jinks is another real one. These guys know it all to well man.
Willie described Waylon in his autobiography as "A FIRE CRACKER" I had the pleasure of seeing him in person and also as part of the Highway Men tour of Australia. Waylon stopped his concert at one point and turned to his group and said "WE GONNA DO THIS RIGHT OR WHAT" (Sounded bloody excellent to me but not to the perfectionist) Broke my heart when you left Hoss
These were the best singers in the world, never see their likes again. They paved the way for the younger generation of country music singers, rest in peace Waylon x
🌹I saw somewhere on one of Waylons concerts with his wife Jessi Colter & someone commented that they were the only 2 wedded couple that really showed their LOVE for each other.💙.But there is another wedded couple who really show how much they LOVE EACH OTHER.You may not have seen them but it is the great JOHNNY CASH & JUNE CARTER CASH. OH BUT YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE LOVE THEY HAD FOR EACH OTHER&right there in front for the whole world to see!😇♥️.They stayed in love till they left this earth for Heaven. So that's 2 couples who loved each other as much as you can love one another.I love watching them singing together and showing their love for each other. If u haven't watched them-please do.You will love it! ♥️💙🎶🥰💖⚘🎸🌹😇.Mary.
My absolute favourite American Country music singer and guitarist also entertainer, what a fantastic voice so unique in every way possible and he was definitely a stud .So very handsome and good looking gentleman, Thank god that he had a beautiful lady in his short life, our wee Jessie Coulter and son Shooter. I loved Waylon Jennings singing any songs, as he sang from his heart and soul ALWAYS. RIP FOREVER ELIZABETH IN SCOTLAND ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's unfortunate IMO that Jessi wasn't on stage more. Waylon is great but the smile of Jessi is etched in my brain forever! Great to watch uninterrupted live videos of yesterday's great live concerts. Thanks for posting...👍
She is so beautiful and pure looking. Waylon mustve saw what I see? Her appearance, beautifully sounding voice, and her very loving demeanor are all telling me. That Waylon was definitely very fortunate to be married to such a wonderfullyvl gifted woman. One whose aura encompasses her like she's being well protecting her like a carriage or a shield...
Never forget folks Waylon sang “Are you sure Hank done it this a way”. It was all about new country in the 70s. Although I’d agree today’s country has nothing on the Outlaws! We listened to just the best time of country!
My wife and I saw him in st Louis at the Muny in 85. He came out sang 1 song after another for a little over an hour. He came back out 1 time. No bs no small talk. Thanked the crowd and was gone. He sang his songs the way they were on his albums. Fabulous show. Wish I had seen him more.
One thing about Waylon. He may not be a great guitar player. But the fact that he takes that telecaster and produces his own unique tone. A couple licks and you know who playing. That makes him special
How on earth you or anybody else could say Waylon " may not be a great guitar player" beats the heck out me! He was one of the best picker ever to hold a guitar, that's not just my opinion either, it comes from the other great performers who played around him and even on the same stage at the same time. And don't forget he was self-taught, just picked up a guitar and learned to play it. Who would you put above him? And you don't have to pick from only country music either, choose your genre and go for it! Too bad so many of the older players are dead or you could just ask them. No use me saying any more here but I'm amazed when I hear comments like yours. Maybe you forgot Waylon was 'inventing" a whole new kind music and he must have done a pretty good job of it too because a bunch of people jumped on the bandwagon and tried to copy him, that speaks for itself.
Waylon is one of my favorite country music stars ever walked the earth he said it like it was he keep it real and didn't hold nothing back a real legend and a legacy in our time.
His son Shooter played him in, " "WALK THE LINE" He's got the same voice and technique, just not the exact same taste! His , Put The O back in Country is good!
greatest lyric ever written: "be careful of something that's just what you want it to be"
He was always warning us.
Don't know what want means. I'm coming
There are other great lyrics written, dude
..... all by Waylon 😂
In my opinion he was the best , he never cared about fame or fortune, just wanted to play his music for us. Went broke 3 times and payed backed everyone he owed

your comment made me fast forward to see. That was great, Also the way he looks at her and that kiss at the end. That was great! Few people ever get that kind of love.
He was a great singer of the day and will always be my favorite. He also was fortunate to have such a beautiful woman to love and love him
He treated her like gold & she did the same. Perfect for each other. She was gorgeous too.

@@ELIZABETHHUGHES-l7u I don't undrestand "a bit blunt". Anyway Waylon has been a favorite of mine for about 40 years. I happened to see him live once and now I wonder if I'll ever meet him up there. Maybe together with Cash. That world be wonderful.
Great Concert, 🤗💗 RIP Waylon Jennings, 😢
Hello, how are you doing today, I hope you are having a beautiful day?
One of my abiding regrets is that I never got to see Waylon live. Still, here he is :)
I no how you feel I never got to see him to I love he's song's
My heart hurts that I never seen him in person... been singing Waylon songs since I got old enough to talk...I should have been born in 64 not 84...
I got to see him twice. True highlights ill remember always...luved Waylon.

i will agree carol
Right on brother
That is exactly why im here brother ..
Listening to this real stuff they all tell a very similar story . You dont become this dam good by continuing to run after you know the truth.. These kinda guys keep me fighting . Cody jinks is another real one. These guys know it all to well man.
I love this one, his voice gives me shivers, yes his vOice

It broke my heart ❤️ as well Greg… there will never be another like Ol Hoss 🥲
Will live Forever in our Hearts. God only takes the Best!!! You too, Jessi, an amazing woman you are!!
Hello, how are you doing today?
Waylon was one of a kind...he and Willie are my two favorites
Waylon played the best part of life some good some bad ! May he rest in peace
Hello, how are you doing today, I hope you are having a beautiful day?
Waylon didn't know it but.....he stole my heart. Love him and his music.
Just a good olé boy …….
I here ya jessi
She is so beautiful and pure looking. Waylon mustve saw what I see? Her appearance, beautifully sounding voice, and her very loving demeanor are all telling me. That Waylon was definitely very fortunate to be married to such a wonderfullyvl gifted woman. One whose aura encompasses her like she's being well protecting her like a carriage or a shield...
Video brings me so much joy
Never forget folks Waylon sang “Are you sure Hank done it this a way”. It was all about new country in the 70s. Although I’d agree today’s country has nothing on the Outlaws! We listened to just the best time of country!
I love him
Yep very true
My wife and I saw him in st Louis at the Muny in 85. He came out sang 1 song after another for a little over an hour. He came back out 1 time. No bs no small talk. Thanked the crowd and was gone. He sang his songs the way they were on his albums. Fabulous show. Wish I had seen him more.
Loved him since he started out, amazing voice!!!! R.I.P Waylon and thank you for great songs!!!!
lucky you and your wife i was stupid
Waylon was the best rock and country mix
@Mr.ManMakesLotsOfCan can't
Yep
I got to see him in person 1 time. Wish I could have seen him more! My favorite singer. Love him!
You or so lucky I never got to go see him and I love he's music Alice
Alice I still listen to he's music
Don’t get butthurt cowboy
Can’t believe that you think that he can’t play guitar.
@@moragmacrae9212 didn’t say that.reread what I posted. He isn’t in the same league as ,Chet,Roy Clark Vince Gill,Glen Campbell or Ricky Skaggs

Waylon is still gaining new fans in 2021.I am one.
I am too- I listened to all 60's and 70's music but never knew WAYLON- now I listen every day in my car- he is the best......I love him.
