Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no
And, feelin' good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues
You know, feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee

I just caught a look in Chris's face that says he's thinking how did i ever wind up with these 3 COOL Dudes. .man I'm living right.
Johnny, Willie, and Waylon all had individual hits on this song that Kris wrote.
This is the most talent ever amassed on the same stage. Could you imagine the price of concert tickets for this concert if it were today? These guys are just. naturally laid back doing what they were meant to do entertain. They are all in tune no fancy jewelry or clothes just a normal people. These want to be singers today could never keep up this is real country.
Yes yes and yes
sooooooooooooo true!
No one a quite pick a guitar quite like our Will.82 year old fan from NZ
Legends on one stage, what I wouldn't give to have been there that night!
Me too
Watching this from Glasgow Scotland. Amazing
Kris K has got to be one of the coolest dudes on the planet.
Together with Waylon, Willie & Johnny? That's a level of cool I can't even begin to understand.
Diese Formation das war die Beste in seiner Zeit.❤
I had the honor to watch these men sing in concert with Merle Haggard opening for them. Was amazing
The star of the concert is the person who plays mouth organ . It is a delight to watch his mouth organ playing
I never realized that Kris Kristofferson wrote "Me and Bobby McGee!"
Not only that, but Kris is also a United States Army Captain, having served as a helicopter pilot and a qualified U.S. Army Ranger. A true American badass outlaw!
He wrote that about Janis Joplin. He was quite a interesting character. A Rhodes scholar, could’ve taught at West Point, and the list goes on
I give a big heck yeah to this. I'm still listening in 2024
Me too!!!
Don't forget the backup players. The keyboards, Reggie's guitar etc, are no❤the ❤headliners but make the headliners job easier.
So true! No one can be taken for granted! The guys in the back to the roadies and sound-light guys! 💘
There Will Never Be Another One Of These Four There Are The Greatest of All Time
My wife and I were there, and it was one of best concerts that we ever attended. Thank you, Highway Men! I know that some of you have passed, but I will remember you all until my final day! God bless you all.
I wish I could have been there😭😭
Lucky sob's what a night you must've had watching these legends
I’m not jealous. I’m not jealous. I’m happy for you really. 😂😂
Congratulations on being able to see these legends perform together! I’m grateful we live in an age I can watch 40 years later.
Am so jealous you were there, what a concert!
From the U.k...I thought I knew my music . I know this song but never herd it performed this way . Just brilliant ! This is 2023 and I'm now seventy six and don't really listen to this modern stuff... but what I do know they don't write and performs song like this anymore . Pure perfection . This song will never die ,..... know matter what !
Got a year on u. I think these 4 are the best country musicians there ever were.
This was the first song, Kris K., wrote preformed by Janis Joplin.
My late hubby and I were fans of the "Outlaws " since the 70s. Would always tease about Kris that they only let him sing because he wrote such killer songs!
I just love the smile on Kris' face all the way through! Johhmy Cash' voice compliments Kris' so well!
Yeah he's absolutely loving it !!!!!
He had that harmonica SMOKIN'.👍👍👍
They are fabulous, but their backing are fantastic as well.👏👏🎶🎶
Best band
Over 30 years ago and Trigger is still going strong. 😁😁😁
Trigger needs her own spot in the Country Music Hall of Fame. 70 decades of providing music is truly something.
They were the best! There are no enough words or comments! Thanks to all of them! I'm so grateful.🎩
How good is Willie at picking that guitar
Willie Nelson was definitely top 100 in the world.
This is real country music
The BEST!
Oh yes
Just look at that frontline. Miraculous.
I fell in love with her the first time I heard her sing
Yes Guys, your'right. Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, Blues and Country Music will never died. Hi from France.
Kris once stated that he does not have a great voice. He was quite correct it isn't great it's fantastic. He was born to do this stuff.
He sings 1,000,000 times better than me!
Can't get enough of Waylon Jennings!
Takk for den fine spillelisten
I am old very old, been bombed, shot at, poor surroundings but always loved music. Big bands, rock n roll Beatles, me. Modern, Country. But these four are something else. Never tire of listening, watching,(thanks tomofrrn technology)They are the best in my lifetime. Thank you Highwaymen.God bless you all.
This is the America the world loved, why we have lost it?.
One word: COMMIES
I'm not American but yes I agree
New time, new generation but thanks for UA-cam, we can still watch the greats..
Boromir Smith The only influence that has changed the culture of America for the worse in the last three decades is fascism.
I used to sing this song to my Children at bedtime when they were babies. Brings tears to my eyes.
I would give my right arm to have been at this gig. ❤️❤️🙏
I did the same. Sang it to my daughter when she was a baby to get her to sleep
Es sind alle gut einschließlich Band.Ich höre sie mir öfters an. Ich danke euch.
What makes them shine the most is they are real.
the saddest part of dying is no more music ever !
Hello 👋 how are you doing today..... 💕💕💕💕
And I hope you do stay safe due to the pandemic over there.?
All of us just enjoy the the fantastic moment... tomorrow might be our demise, so get on and party while you can. Hasta luego folks!
There was one the only black country & western singer oh blast I've forgotten his name. At 84 tye brain goes.
Hey how are you doing..?😊
The true country music. Music forever.
When God said…”let me put four great musicians together and make everybody happy”….❤️😀👍
Yep ....I said it alright.
His family should have been proud of him. We are his musical family and we are very proud of Kris.
Love these guys but no one does that song better than Janice
Kris K is one of the best song writers and story tellers that this world will ever know
Along with Robert Hunter and Bob Dylan
Paul Simon, John Prine, Joni Mitchell…
Jerry Reed
Carol King, please...
He led a remarkable life.
These men were stars in their own right, and elected to perform together, leaving egos at home. We're better for it.
You're right
Yes, and aren’t we the lucky ones, they are magic 🎶🎶
Thank God For Country Music and my good friend Jack Daniels. Met him again today. Yep, It's 5:00 in England. I think.
These guys don’t even have to work to sing harmony together. It’s so natural for them to do it.
Am I the only one who is worried that there is nothing close to this going forward?
No you're not, good music is more important to the world than just about anything at all and there's very little good anything left.
I'm not worried but you are probably right.
I stopped listening to country radio a few years ago after figured out the template for songs: a pickup truck, drinking beer, crushing a country road and making out with a girl wearing shorts. Did I leave out anything from that formula.
Sorry, I meant cruising not crushing. Anyway, a song that doesn't have meaning and emotion behind it is just noise.
What a life Kris has had! We should all be so lucky!
This is what happens when the teacher puts the best students together in one group
Wish l could of met them , but l can say Johnny Cash came to NL and somebody here had a rare moment that was never forgotten.
Kris K. Former US Marine officer, Oxford scholar, left the service at his 4 years were up. His dad disowned him. Wonder if they every spoke again. He has had one hell of a career, movies and music.
Army Officer
Thank you for sharing that. I had no idea. Respect.
There are lots and lots of performers. Kris fabulous *WRITING* of his own numerous songs is a work of Genius!
Convoy made me at a young age idolise him. Class guy!!
Kris was an Army Ranger along with helicopter pilot an Capt of that unit before resigning in 1965. He wasn't in favor of the Vietnam War. A man amongst men! 💪👍😎
if you like proper music listen to these brilliant people
Thank you for being among us.❤
They are music, they have made people's lives much better with their music
I am in the hospital just coming out of major invasive foot surgery . Very painful and listening to your rendition helps me endure the pain. I am 73 yoa and things like this not as easy to endure. Ian would be proud.
How can add anyone say this is not the greatest Newfoundland song it all time.
He’s the champ, shook his hands in Sweden a few Years ago best lyrics ever 🇸🇪
Real folks, real music, ton of talent. Just enjoyable music, don't over think it.
I would trade all my tomorrows to be able to watch these giants live one more time
Gosh, I wish I had been in the audience
Hey how are you doing…?😊
Alguien que hable español y le empezó a gustar este música de la nada recordando una linda infancia de esos clásicos del Viejo Oeste deje su like

There will NEVER be this much talent gathered together on one stage that is a FACT. These country music stars nowadays need to go back and listen this is what country music all about. All four are in tune and no ego's to interfere happy and smiling.
These Highwaymen taught me what kind of man is a real Man . Thank you Willie, Wayland, Chris & of course Johnny. Real men tell good stories and have great hearts 💕.

The Highway Men. No one will be ever this great.

What a line. And delivered with perfection!

Что-то из области фантастики, больше не будет такого
Kris K is /was THE most underappreciated musician EVER!
Hey how are you doing today?😊
Back when they were young it was something to remember. We worked hard. lived hard and partied hard but no one thought any of it. just how it was and we enjoyed the fun we could have never letting hard times brake our spirit.
If ever a song told a story, this is it.
RIP Waylon and Johnny.
🇺🇸🏴
Waylon and Johnny were both of Irish heritage too 🇮🇪❤️🇺🇸❤️🏴 rip
The person playing the harmonica is a legend.
Yes, he is! Truly fabulous. Has been with Willie Nelson for more than 40 years, I just read. And doing lots of other stuff, too. Sorry I can't provide his name. Only heard it a couple of times recently, and it hasn't "stuck" yet.
Great if he had a name. Perhaps you can enlighten me?.
will and waylon were really enjoying themselves in the background
Hello how are you doing..?
Peak country songs 🐐
Crazy how authentic the music was back then! Real instruments and real voices, so powerful. I could listen to them all day.
Yes it is fair to say that Highwaymen concert 1990s was the greatest show of the 20th century. Plus it was also said that Kris, K was one of best songwriters, ever!! On Ken Burns PBS Country Music Documentary, fantistic, his best yet. These great musicians were featured, it tells how they got their start, especially about Kris K, his story, really good. Great series.!!
It was awesome!
Chris is having a mad time up there with these LEGANDS
Hey how are you doing..?
I am South African. It is nice to see the best of the best all together. Period, I do not think we will ever see this again. Save this one.
I sadly lost my Father in June, his favourite musician was Willie Nelson, so I went on a discovery of why. It has brought me to this, wow, just bloody wow. Best Supergroup ever. Four legends!!! Now I know why Dad! RIP
Sorry for your loss..
RIP.
June of 2020? Sorry for your loss! Hope it wasn’t COVID! RIP John Lannin’s Dad!
“Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose,
nothing ain’t worth nothing but it’s free,
(and it cost nothing). WHAT BRILLIANT WORDS!
Imortais!
Not all the legends but the best ones.
Battling cancer. This is my favourite song!❤❤❤❤
We were fortunate to see their show in the 90`s,the biggest roar from the crowd was when Johnny was introduced, then unexpectedly June came out to join her husband.Unforgettable show.
Feel young and romantic again with the old days listening to this song
💐💙💚👍🏻
Great song I think Kris actually wrote this song for a secreta4y
A secretary at his record label but for some reason ended up selling it to Janis Joplin
I may be wrong I think that's what I heard.J.S.
Willie Nelson's mullet steals the show.
That guy with the mouth organ makes that song 😊😊
I keep coming back to their music and song because it is the best

Where are all those bands today!! Want it back!
music royality at its best
If it sounds country man
That's what it is
It's a country song, yeah, okay
One, two, three, four
One, two, three, four
Busted flat in Baton Rouge, and headin' for the trains
Feelin' nearly faded as my jeans
Bobby thumbed a diesel down just before it rained
Took us all away to New Orleans
I took my harpoon out of my dirty red bandana
And was blowin' sad while Bobby sang the blues
With them windshield wipers slappin' time
And Bobby clappin' hands, we finally sang up
Every song that driver knew
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin' ain't worth nothin', but it's free
Feelin' good was easy Lord, when Bobby sang the blues
Feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and Bobby McGee
From the coalmines of Kentucky to the California sun
Bobby shared the secrets of my soul
Standin' right beside me Lord through everything I done
Every night she kept me from the cold
Then somewhere near Salinas lord, I let her slip away
Lookin' for the home, I hope she'll find
And I'd trade all my tomorrows for a single yesterday
Holdin' Bobby's body next to mine
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin' left is all she left for me
Feelin' good was easy Lord, when Bobby sang the blues
Buddy, that was good enough for me
Good enough for me and Bobby McGee
La la la...
Me and Bobby McGee
La la la...
Me and Bobby McGee
La la la...
Me and Bobby McGee
La la la...
I really dislike the NEW COUNTRY music. Nothing can compare to this group and its mentors, before them!
