I locked this vid in my library and have watched it at least 100 times...if it's this good in video, one can only imagine how good it was live. 4 of the greatest come together to make history ... We've already lost 2 it will be heart breaking when Willy and Kris are called ...but what a legacy they have left behind with their music ( individually and together ) it will last for generations to come. RIP Johnny and Waylon and thank you all 4 👍
We were fortunate to see their show in the 90`s,the biggest roar from the crowd was when Johnny was introduced, then unexpectedly June came out to join her husband.Unforgettable show.
It's with a heavy heart that I have to report that Kris Kristofferson sadly died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family at his home on Maui, Hawaii on September 28, 2024. He had a brilliant career and was a Rhodes Scholar, wonderful singer, songwriter, actor and writer and he's left a beautiful legacy we can cherish forever. The Highwaymen changed the face of country music and we'll never see a group like them again. That only leaves Willie Nelson, aged 91, as the last man standing. ♥♥♥♥
These times are gone forever, except on replay. It’s snowflakes from here on out, ha ha! Get used to canned country music, or better yet, flip back to the past.

The word is version NOT vesion. Clearly you and I did not attend the same school....and the name should appear correctly as
McGee.
That sweet voice will live forever. Thanks Kris.
It is timeless you'll never se this guys together again, God bless them who's live and RIP who's gone
Legends on one stage. It doesn’t get better than this.
Hello dear, how are you doing today?
The backing band ar great, who ar they?
❤ NOTHING but ❤
I am an old Englishman and my God, how I wish that I had been at this concert. Legends giving everyone the best of themselves. What a night that was for those who were there.
Kris, each week i listen to your music.... but you left. Rest in peace cowboy.... your music will live forever.
Real music played by proper men! Surely a bit of a novelty in these strange times. Roll it guys!
Excellent. The harmonium player is outstanding. This is my favourite bedtime song.
Not harmonium, its a chromatic harmonica. And Mickey Raphael is one of the best at it
Thank you for being among us.❤
This ancient grandma says, " Hell Yes ! "
Rip Kris. One awesome preformer and songwriter. Thanks for everything.
This is absolutely the best version of this great song, they were magnificent.
After all Kris wrote the song!!! What a talent!!!!
@Mark Honey I am well, thank you.
@Mark Honey Canada.

🌹🎸🌹🎸🌹🎸🌹🎸🌹🎸🌹🎸 x x x x
Best country group by far, I'm 22 and love these guys, Wish i could have been there to see them perform
For those of us who grew up in the golden era of music, this provides chills and memories beyond belief. 😍😍
george jones sang "whose gonna take their place" looks like NOBODY, so sad.
they just don"T MAKE THEM LIKE THAT ANYMORE. why?
There will never be this many superstars of country music in their own rights assembled on the same stage! Damn I wish I was a teenager in this era so I could go to all these concerts! 🙌🏾🤩
Some us weren't teenagers
Me too
There just are no words - takes me back so many years, and puts a hurt in my heart that those days are past. Huge lump in my throat - tears slippin'. I SO wish I could go back, just for a little while.
Jeannie, you just did go back. Just for a minute.
Jeannie Carle I’m with ya on that ! With a tear in my eye and thinking back !
Great guys
Sometimes I look in the mirror and this beat up old man is looking back. Not too many tomorrows left, but I'd trade a few for one good yesterday
I love the way Kris twirls around at the beginning of the show and how they all wander around the stage. Nice how he acknowledged Raphael and the band. He seemed like such a nice guy.
The best version of one of the greatest songs ever written performed by 4 legends and an amazing backing band 🎶🎼🎶🎼🎼 to quote Kris "Keep the faith" 🏴
I play this at least once a week.
I just love the smile on Kris' face all the way through! Johhmy Cash' voice compliments Kris' so well!
Yeah he's absolutely loving it !!!!!
Four people enjoying playing, entertaining and each others company, no egos getting in the way, good times and great music. Where did these times go?
amen
Probably buried under a pile of bad music
These times are gone forever, except on replay. It’s snowflakes from here on out, ha ha! Get used to canned country music, or better yet, flip back to the past.
I couldn’t of said it any better.
These guys would be Patriots singing for President Trump if they were alive together.
From a Retired old Pastor from Australia
To heaven and they will stay there😁
Wow! So much talent under one roof! This performance leaves me in awe.
Thanks so much for the love ❤️ I really appreciate, I hope you will never stop listen to my music 🎶.. If you don’t mind kindly drop me your google chat just to get in touch with you❤️❤️❤️
There Will Never Be Another One Of These Four There Are The Greatest of All Time
"Our dead are never dead to us until we have forgotten them" x

Love you Kris, your beautiful music has been a big part of my life for 54 years and I never get sick of hearing your beautiful songs and love singing along with you as know so many of your songs off by heart as I have played them so extensively for so long. Thank you for your beautiful music, your exceptional songwriting skills and of of course your fabulous acting, who could forget you in A Star is Born with Barbra Streisand. A once in a lifetime talent, a true legend. Love this version of Bobby McGee with fellow Legends, so many superstars on one stage, The Highwaymen truly unforgettable. Rest Easy man, you will live on through your beautiful music, you leave a phenomenal legacy.
This was the Greatest Country / Outlaw Country music ever made. They're never be a duplicate , you can't re- create Greatness
