They have both been gone for 21 years and they still have more game than any other celebrity couple today! Did you see that Children? That is called talent!
They got married on March 1st. , 1968. Their happiness is so obvious here. RIP June and Johnny.
There still in love 😘💘 in heaven 💞
Thanks for that information
Thanks for that information
@@Angel_Sent_From_Heavenuh huh, superstition ain’t the way
June's pure voice
no silly offensive body gestures needed to sing pure.
Yes, no off. body gestures, all you had to do was just watch her sing and know she was FINE!!!!
She's so cute and then this growly voice comes out.
These 2 were so good together. RIP
One clip can make life so beautiful at times. I am Happy !
Bring back the 60’s-70’s and leave it there!
Yessss and the 50s and early 80s and then we’ll be good😂
How about late 50s to late 70s - that gives us a little beatnik stuff - and some folk music, and, of course, some honky-tonk too - put it all in a blender and you got a recipe for good times and incredible music.
1957 I started raising hell
Yes remember those California race riots? Or the Vietnam protests? Kennedy assassinations? MLKjr assassination? Some things still haven’t changed much besides people using kids for target practice at schools…yep some things haven’t changed at all with the rise of male chauvinism again.
Johnny is a legend. June is an underappreciated American legend.
If anyone ever has doubts about weather soul mates really exsist, then look no further than this couple and this video. If you’re fortunate enough to find your very own then I say God bless you!
Can't say I did, and if I did. I must have blown it somehow. Can't blame no one but ME! LORD GOD Almighty knows I'm happy for the most part. There is no greater JOY then knowing the LORD GOD Almighty His Amazing Grace.
Yep
John & Yoko. Another bullshit ensample.
Amen to that
@@darrengarlough5121 I agree.
Back in the early 80's John & June had a concert at a nearby race track near my our housr. My mom & I went to see it for $5.00 each admission! I remember when they sang 'Jackson' June was kicking up her heel & her shoe flew off her foot across the stage! Good old Johnny retrieved it for her. They were awesome!!!
*_Was there ever a finer looking couple than these two legends in their prime???_*
No, there wasn't.
@@corneliadenninger5395 *_I have not the slightest inkling of doubt that June Carter was the most gorgeous creature ever to grace the Planet - then again I'm a Big Fan of Celtic beauty ... esp. gingers, with wide toothy smiles, freckles & brownie-greenie eyes - not sure that June had ALL of those attributes - but she sure was a FINE lookin gal!!_*
@@peterward9446 June Carter was a beauty till her end.
Fantastic footage of them in great quality! I ❤it! The King of country music 😊
June had one awesome voice!!! And I love Johnny ❤❤!!!
I always felt so so sorry for his first wife. Gave him four beautiful daughters and the best years of her life. Bless her.
As good as Johnny and June are together, I agree with you. He literally just left and started a new family. It was a different time then, she may even have felt a great deal of shame.
We need to bring back these type of this is real country music 🎶 ❤
June cash loved her man, watch her lower the mic when she sang then highered it for Johnny cash to sing , seamlessly. brilliant.
June was the Queen of Country and Western music!
Wonderful couple,💋💋💋🙏🤠🤠❤️❤️
I love their love story so much. No matter what him and June were going through they were smiling on stage and having a good time
This song made me cry happy tears! Beautiful duet!
Great footage. I love these artists playing for our military
I grew up loving this song as a kid... and forgot about it until it came into my YT NEWS FEED... Can't believe how important this song was to my 9 year old ears back in 1974...
This is awesome. Thanks for posting this. This must be some of the last footage featuring guitarist Luther Perkins, who died 5 August 1968. Luther was one of the original members of Cash's band, The Tennessee Three. A legend in his own right, Luther was one of several famous musicians born on January 8 (1928). The list also includes: Elvis Presley (1935), Shirley Bassey (1937), The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger (1946) and David Bowie (1947). What a great day to be born...
The last televised footage of Luther was on the Summer Brothers Smothers show, July 25th 1968. It wouldn't air until August 25th and Luther was already gone for a few weeks.
June had a great voice, very overshadowed by Johnny, But she sure could sing. They sound great together. Love this song.
Who else wants to go back to 1968?
Not me, I wasnt born til 71 lol
A great year. I'd go back, especially if I could take all that I know now, with me.
It's me !!!! I am 74 now
Not me, I was still pooping my diapers. Music was better, but not worth the trade off. 😂
❤ 😂❤ A long way from these days..
They don't make em like that anymore. Glad I lived through this era and enjoyed many of the greats❤
ME2
I love the way the adjusted the mic for him and herself all while singing and having a great time :)
These two are truely SOUL MATES...RIP❤ JOHNNY AND JUNE YOU BOTH ARE SINGING IN HEAVEN❤
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Could not get any sweeter than this, right here. Had not seen before, much appreciated!
My favorite song I lived in Hawaii my husband was in the Navy. Biggest song on Oahu !!
I remember Johnny and June on quite a few episodes of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman in their later years. Great couple. ❤
I recall listening to this on a Camdenten, MO, radio station, when it came out in '68 or so. The fun of the song came blazin' through the airwaves.
This is what makes America GREAT!!
That shuffle the drummer is playing, daaamn!
There the best! So darn cute they sure belong together!❤❤❤❤❤
I miss them so much, even though i was born many years after their performances of that era, I can't imagine how beautiful it was to see them together.
Had a smile on my face the whole song
❤❤❤First time I have heard June sing ...TOTALLY AMAZING
THE PAIR ARE WELL SUITED .❤❤❤❤ The film with REESE WEATHERSPOON """DID HER PROUD "" .😉😉🥰🥰🥰

Fantastic to see 👍👍 Johnny was the real king .
This is pure gold , Luther was still alive
I wonder when this was filmed? Luther would be gone in August.😢
@@ScotchArshthree months after they played at Folsom Prison
@@liamg2063 This was actually in June. So 2 months before Luther passing
Someone blessed us with Johnny and June, whoever you are thank you.
Was ein Powerpaar....immer wieder gut..Und unsterblich 🎉🎉🎉
Love it!
nice to see one of the oringal air refuelers in this vidoes, which is the kc 97 stratotanker
Great footage - No doubt - June and John were brilliant musicians. - June was more comedian than musician - But she was highly talented.
I agree, I agree !!!!
Unbelievable! Such a classic! ❤❤❤
I wish we could. Love Johnny and June
Loved and still love them both. Great husband and wife team both on and off the road. Great singing and song writing duet. There will never be anyone alive that can outdo Johnny and June. Yeah there's been others like porter and dolly, George and Tammy, Kenny and dolly, Bill Anderson and Jan Howard, and so many more but these two were topping the charts. Love them both even after their deaths.
RIP Johnny and June now they're singing in Heaven with the angels
That was a great movie made of Johnny Cash and family.
They killed it 👏
Pure Gold. Legends. 🤠❤️
How could you not Love That.

This is so cool! I’d love to see the entire concert if it’s available.
This is not in Vietnam. I believe that was done in 1969!
Fantastic!!!! Greetings from Brasil
Brilliant 🌟🌟🌟
Magnifiques !
Fantastic!!!👍👏👍
Just saw amazing throwback to loving couple. Check out their Johnnie Carson appearance where after singing Jackson for their ending kiss.❤
They look so happy.
Always great
Cool stuff
Wish I could see something like this again
It doesn’t get any better than this!
In love with June’s sound ❤

OMG. IS THIS GREAT OR WHAT!!
Why am I watching with this big ole grin huh? Infectious! What a beautiful couple... may they rest in peace!
No one compares to Johnny Cash. Man in black. Missed very much.
A marevelous couple! In every aspect!
Just awesome! Thank you!
Reliquia 👏👏👏
I love her.
I would kill to be there! So good!
This is bloody brilliant
How damn awesome is that?
Singing for the troops ❤
Truly wonderful!
Criminey! I was seven years old when this video was filmed! I'd wager most of the people, including the soldiers in the crowd, have since departed this crazy world. Time sure flies...
I was in a classic rock band on the western coast and the only country that we ever played was Johnny Cash and Johnny was so good I admired him a lot he went through a lot in his life but he proved that you can come out on top all you got to do is work at it rest in peace Mr Cash the Men in Black
Yes sir those two were just meant to be for each other
He had an affair with her sister.
Beautiful.....
Something to see this 1968 clip of Johnny and june..also on guitar there is the famous Luther Perkins of all those early Johnny Cash records and folsom prison blues..56
Wow. Her voice on this track just gave me the chills. Definitely one of the most under-rated singers of her era. But... kind of makes since when "the STAR" every night is Johnny Cash.
R.i.P Seppo from Finland.Born 1966❤🎉
I was still 5 years from this Earth.
I'm irrevocably obsessed with how Johnny bows down to June at the end of the song.
It's as if they were rehearsing in their garage, all alone.
The only soul he sees is hers....
Great song.
Wow, this is awesome….
Goddamn it, it makes me so happy watching them having so much fun together... It's contagious ❤
We named our golden retriever Jackson because of this tune
Cash was the man
wow................
