Great video, the next level up is a 'no no' to fingered silicone. Use dressing tools/wipes etc for a quality finish that customers notice.
Even dedicate someone with OCD to do the job.
Siliconing is a serious skill I’m addicted to watching south coast sealants on TikTok he’s immense 👍🏻🚐

Great Video, good to see the addition of a CNC router I am sure it will be a big benefit. I have hand routed most of my furniture on my van conversion and it takes an age. CNC will definitely speed this up. 👍👍
I feel your pain mate we have a few jigs here where we have been doing some bits by hand with the router and it is very time consuming, been playing with the machine today and it banged out two kitchen cabinets in 40 minutes, can’t fault it 👊🏻🚐

Stu fitted out my Ambulance gross weight 5t. Took to Stu at 3.3t, after fitting out straight to weigh bridge & come in at 3.68 t. Although I didn't have water tanks fitted as my water situation works for me. Stu & crew know their stuff. belated happy Birthday Martin🍻

the portable induction is a brilliant idea, as you said, how often is it used? very little. White with black trim is really smart.
Must admit it is my favourite combo of colours so far, was so clean. Portable hobs are the way forward 👊🏻🚐

I bought 2 brand new doors off a similar van last yr (horse box conversion company) for £150 each , 8 miles on the clock ,in same white colour for a couriers van , luckily no D pillar or back panel damage , just bumper and parking sensors , job done in a day , without any paintwork cream job , the van looks mint , very happy customers , its a joke how insurance companies want to write vehicles off , anything can be fixed with the correct skill and psrts , i argued with and engineer once in 2005 over a transit van a week old from new , front and back damage, 2 D pillars , rear panels, 2 x rear doors , bonnet , headlamps , wings and both bumpers , He said total , I said ,not a chance , fixed it with genuine parts when in the day we got 28 % discount at least on panels for £5500 plus vat , I made good money , the guy kept his van he was very happy , and so were we , fed my kids and paid my bills 😂😂😂😂
They are too quick to do that, to be fair the total repair did cost more than the base van but still way less than the converted van 👊🏻🚐 and our customers are back on their adventures

That looks great. I know you are a joiner by trade but if you told me that was done in a factory I wouldn't bat an eye as it looks factory-built quality.

I understand you use high gloss boards from Moorland. Is that iron on trim or knock on, on the doors as they are 90 degree corners.
Im doing high gloss but was going to IKEA doors but your method is customisable. Cheers

You’ve really upped the standard of your conversions, in a really short time. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a kitchen pod and overhead lockers from you of that black/white standard. If you made it available as a mail order or over the counter kit.

Great analogy between underslung gas tank and lithium battery, what size batteries are you fitting in these all electric vans?

Loving the gloss white and black trim interior, I had similar in my T5 and it looks so modern.
I must admit when it was discussed I wasn’t too sure on it thinking it would be too clinical but it’s actually my favourite combination yet by a mile, I’d like to do it again whilst using no carpet and opting for other materials, think that would be epic 👊🏻🚐🫡

I fitted one in my van two years ago and honestly was the best oven we’ve ever had in any of the vans we’ve had 🚐👊🏻

hi. love your videos. my wife and I have watched them all!. on this van in particular what battery did you use, and what inverter. I wonder if there is any provision for the ninja oven to be used at the same time as the hobs, or is it safe to assume you would use one, or, the other. Thanks for making the videos.
We used a 560ah lithium battery with a renogy 3kw inverter charger. The ninja is about 2400w so the only way you’d be able to do this is to use two batteries and two inverters 👍🏻🚐

Great build, is there any problems with heat from the Ninja oven, looking at putting one in my build but worried about heat build up
We’ve not had any problems with them, it’s just important to not frame the front of them so they can vent and we also ensure vents behind 👍🏻🚐

Hi mate we use worktop express for our worktops and for the sinks we tend to use wither the smeg um30 or the dometic ardent 👊🏻🚐

Love the van! The white gloss is great. Have you ever stained or painted the lightweight ply in any dark or solid colours?
Thank you, turned out better than we thought it would. We’ve stained them with an oil but want to try it with a varnish. We don’t get involved with the painting side of it 🚐

When ya driving van you mention high and low level venting and vapour barriers. I thought you didn't use vapour barriers in your builds ?
Your correct, I was reminding people about my advice on venting when talking about why we don’t use vapour barriers 👍🏻🚐
Would love to see what these van builders can do with a smaller van like my Vivaro van size
We have done a transporter recently but was with a pre fabricated unit system. We don’t do pop tops yet so maybe something we will look into in the future but for now you by us are keeping me busy with the bigger vans 🫡🚐

They are often on the inside as a lot of vehicles the outside door falls half on the trim and half on the metal work which looks terrible
