These guys have ridden this track so many times that they have it memorized in their head. I'm really surprised how old a lot of these bikers are.

This game will have you on the edge of your seat for sure, every lap you learn something new, a different line, maybe hold full throttle that bit longer, it's addictive. I'm using the onboard view with no bike visible and no assists on the 1000cc bike and I have managed a 17:30 lap which is getting near what the real guys can do. To race at race speed on this track with no assists takes so much more concentration than the likes of F1 games, those seem easy as pie after playing this!
Next time there's an eclipse you better double-check. It may be Johns balls blocking the sun.

Got excited for this game when it was announced as I played TT Superbikes to death so having an updated and more realistic version of the TT course to have go at was the best thing ever. The bike physics since the update are top class. You can really translate all the information from onboard videos in to the game.
takes abit to learn the tracks.But when your done crashing,it feels really cool to drive fast and no corner crashes..headset on and the wind make a good noice

Great game. I'm slowly falling in love with this game. It as filled the gap, what the PS2 version left, all those years ago. One thing though. If there's to be a sequel, please include more realife tracks. Where is the Northwest 200 and the Ulster GP. Where is the classic TT or the Southern 100. Maybe some Irish road tracks like Cookstown. After all the later PS2 version had those tracks in, other than Cookstown. What about more bikes including classic and sidecars. Build on the game physics too. That would truly make for a awesome game. In other words more content required. So are you listening and looking Big Ben. Get your money and design team out and build on what you've achieved so far. But for now thanks for bringing the TT to life in gaming.
First realistic feedback I’ve seen for this game. Hopefully some of what you’ve mentioned makes it into ROTE 2.

We have recently announced to port TT Isle of Man on the Nintendo Switch this coming May!
This is an awesome game but learn to ride a 600cc first. Once you get used to the handling you can really fly and get round without falling off. My best time is just over 19 minutes on a 1000cc . Incredible sensation of speed ,lovely graphics and the course is spot on. Hope there will be DLC like classic 1980s Joey Dunlop , Mick Grant etc maybe also 250cc or updated 2017 teams. I have Ride 2 and this is better and I highly recommend.

17:21 for me on the super sport. Top 1000 is my first goal (currently 1087) and then hopefully a sub 17 minute lap.
Always seem to mainly cock up at Glen Helen, Kirk Micheal, the section after Ballaugh Bridge, somewhere on the mountain or the fiddly corners right at the end of the lap.
World record is 14 minutes on Superbike. By Samuel. Beautiful to behold.

Hats off to them to making this game. Great way to learn the circuit I hope this will become a long running franchise. Have to say though that the game does not quite capture the speed these guys are really doing.

What controllers will this function with, please (specificaly on the PS4 console)? Dualshock probably, but that's no good. Which steering wheel and pedals (Hey!, way, way better than any Dualshock and not as weird to use for motorbike games as you'd think)? Great commentary from John McGuiness in this video. Thanks for that.

NightEye87 there is option like dynamic camera with allows automatic head movement into the apex. But from one video I have seen its weird and static.

MotoGP games have far more movement in it (the newer ones not as much as the older ones).

The Game is really realistic and scaring too, I have it on my switch and play it every day.
Hard to believe how many times John has danced with death and came out the other side unscathed.

How do u deactivate the race marks that appear on the road while u race? Its on by default on xbox
Fix the sounds on the 1000 please, it rattles through the gears quicker than a Mx bike, actually sounds like the clutch is slipping, the 600s sound spot on, it sounds almost as the engine has no resistance on the 1000 though
HutchSco Yeah and the top speeds need to be adjusted on most bikes as well. The CBR600 is faster than the BMW s1000rr for god’s sake haha.
coming from someone that owns a s1000rr these bikes have clutchless down and up shifting. the only thing the game needs fixing on is the back tire washing out. that shit is annoying but the shifting and sound is spot on.

Looks great, but that dirt on the windshield seems ridiculously excessive. I can understand some squished bugs being picked up, but less than 10 minutes in, the windshield is absolutely covered with dirt you can't really see through, especially in the darker sections of the track (because it gets too opaque there).
Martin Fiala believe me, when u get up to speeds in excess of 180-200mph it literally takes minutes to completely cover the screen in squished midges and dust/dirt. it is very realistic but I understand your view on how it effects gameplay but even so....imagine how it effects the real riders! especially when you have strobing sun blinding you at the same time! insane actually. I will be picking this game up in a few months when the price has come down to around £20.
Yes, I believe you get quite a lot of squished bugs and stuff. But pause the video at say 11:02 or 12:05 and tell me this is anywhere close to being realistic. You can't see anything at all through the windshield, it looks like it's covered with a layer of grey soot. Even looking at real onboards from the race, you can see it gets nowhere near this bad.

Great video, fantastic to hear John's comments on the run. I do have one problem though - it seems a little annoying that even under heavy breaking the rider seems to hunch over the front wheel. Not sure if this is an issue with the game or the player as I haven't got my hands on a copy yet, just thought it should be noted. :)

not yet at this rate. this game is just came out. IMO, get the game or wait for summer sale to come, who knows the game will be on sale, get the feel of the game and see for yourself do you need a VR because the full sim one (no HUD, no radar, no racing line) will immerse you.

Oh man, what a guy👍🏻. I love that game so much, but it is only playable in cockpit view. It is awful in any other view, and if you want to get the feeling of the speed you just have to be in the cockpit. I'm a complete novice who still uses the yellow arrows as it helps me to figure out what speed to use in corners. It is soooo much harder without that help. I will get there in the end, but yeah, novice is the right word...🤪👍🏻
Everything looks great apart from the muck buildup on the windscreen - bug splats seem fine but the screen is (unrealistically) far too mucky and will totally ruin first person gameplay - devs please correct this!

Is anyone playing on PS4? If so, how's the framerate? I'm torn between ordering this now or waiting for the PC version at the end of the month but frankly I'd prefer to play on my big TV so PS4 is preferable if it's not too bad.
staggabob: some people report framerate issues on PS4 if all the HUD elements are on.
I don't use corner markers, speedo, (the bikes have those) timer etc and I switched racing line off before I ever turned a wheel. I'm on an old PS4 500gig from the Stone Age; no framerate issues for me. Apparently running the racing line is your biggest cause of frame drop. This game only works from first person in my opinion. Other opinions WILL vary. Lol.
PS4: 30 FPS
PS4 Pro: 60 FPS.
PC: Unlimited FPS.
I'm waiting for PC with my 144 Hz monitor.
Played the beta on pc, I have the retail version on PS4. There are some framerate dips on PS4, in the first section for example, but it’s okay. PC version was really smooth, though. If you can wait, it’s the version to get.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to hold out for the PC version and hope that it's playable through my SteamLink. What swung it wasn't just the promise of better visuals but also the possibility of future mods- getting missing riders and bikes into the game as well as other tweaks.
What controller is everyone going to use on PC? X box controller is all I can imagine... Shame there's not much for bike games.

Great game. But please fix that sound glitch that comes after 1 lap. It sounds like when you squeeze a pig. Not possible to drive with that. Hope you can patch these. Thx
FIX THE CONTROL MAPPING ISSUES. Whoever thought steering should NOT be on an analogue stick should be shot. Can't use a joystick with it, as you can't redefine the mapping, as it keeps saying you can't do that. Not being able to remap the controls when you don't have a gamepad is the biggest problem with this game on PC. The other problem is the dirt on the windscreen. In the shadows, you can't see where you're going at all. Yes it's realistic, but in reality, the rider can look over it. Option to disable it would be great. Wheel support would be great too. My Logitech G29 is not recognised. In a racing game, doesn't matter how good the game is, if you fuck up the controls you fuck up the game. This looks like you gave the controls the lowest priority. For that reason, I don't recommend it until these issues are fixed. Handling is an issue as well, even John McGuiness crashed twice for stupid reasons, where the bike just veered off the track.
why do we have to wait for the pc version?
hopefully any issues will be thoroughly tested by the console guys and gals leading to a better PC release (one can hope!).

Not a bad game but at some points the bike physics felt like car physics and thats not good, you dont get the feel of each individual tyer and some aspects of the engine are over exaggerated that cause the bike to slide out of control like its on skis more than wheels, the audio on the bikes is not the best and the selection of bikes and no side cars is poor, the career mode is bassed on 600s and the 1000cc bikes, i expected everything from 125s all the way upto the 1000s and the side cars if you fancied a change, not to mention a handful of road bikes would of been nice also, i hope they make a sequal next year and fix these issues this game has potential, just needs the physics sorting out as they are somewhat questionable and have a mind of there own, and more content would be nice mainly in the bikes as the career mode is bland would be nice to start with a road legal 125s and be able to add exhausts and tyers and upgrades and give the career progression to keep you playing
