As a biker since I was 16 what these boys do takes so much skill and a huge memory, in moto gp you have a run off in the tt you can have a telegraph pole, brick wall, tree...…..one mistake you are dead respect to these boys they earn every penny.
@@YordanHristooov I guess they need to be talented to drive in F1. Fortunately these days F1 is much safer than in the period from the 1950s through to the early 1980s. I guess bike road racing is such a spectacle due to the high risks. I don't mind riding my bikes well within mine and the bikes limits, I could not ride on the edge of those limits like all bike racers do. I am in awe of them.

Personally I see that level of skill/focus, whatever you want to call it, on a different planet to any other motorsport. I love f1 and motogp but tt riders and McGuinness himself, mind blown.
Agreed, it's a different level. If you're not willing to die to go faster - you're going to get beat badly. The commitment / skill is unparalleled in any other motorsport.
Let's just say - this man has earned his rep, as well as the money - and he needs not care about the lot for the rest of his life. What I always wish for is to see the missile safe at home after every TT. Of course it goes for everyone else as well, but to be fair, this man has set the pace for more than a few decades by now, and that earns some respect in my book. I’m a massive fan of Rossi and other riders as well but there is no doubt this guy has balls to race at at the most dangerous track in the world that’s impressive for sure

Valentino Rossi might be the greatest in MotoGP. But Isle of Mann TT is the ultimate race. No race is comparable to it. It’s the ultimate test to the limits. You’re either mad or have a death wish for you to compete in Isle of Mann TT, it’s like a race against death. It’s suicidal considering how dangerous it is. Crashes are usually fatal.
As a mx and sport bike guy from upstate ny ... need to see an isle of man tt, the auto Bahn and a f1 race to complete the bucket racing list lol im mean a Dakar or Tokyo drift is a lil out of the wallets reach

They asked rossi to do the tt his words were I'm a good superbike racer but not good enough to race those legends over the years the tt have seen and claimed some amazing riders that turned up on their own bike and gave it to the race teams on their expensive bikes some of those riders were world class had they entered the superbike game but they didn't have the financial support to race that's a fact

Motogp might have these training programs and shit like that, and I think motogp riders gotta go through moto3 and moto2 or atleast either one of them. Many of these riders are maybe not willing to go through all that, or they may really prefer the near to death thrill that TT gives. If purely talking about ability, then there is no question on whether TT riders would do well in MotoGP
