dude, you literally enhanced my knowledge on wifi and antennas, I've been doing system administration and networking but the one topic I was very lacking on is wifi signals and antennas. You have honed my knowledge! Thank you so much!
The omni directional will not give you a better signal but a high-gain directional antenna will. YES, 2 bars "MAGICALLY" into 3 or 4 bars. Get that antenna as high as you can and you might get your 5 bars. Height is might! Learn about signal propagation. The equipment you use and how it is installed is the differance between 2 bars and 5.
It is really important to note the information @3:53-4:33. This kept me from dishing out $300 for a booster since the best I get with T-Mobile is 2 bars outside the house.
What system did you go with? I have the same issue and need an actual booster and not a relay like most “boosters” are advertised as and described in this video.
Many people think signal boosters make a signal where there is none. Like they somehow suck a signal out of the nothingness. A signal booster is like sitting on your roof while holding your cell phone. That's the signal that a signal booster pipes inside a building. So those inside the building can enjoy the roof signal while sitting in their work stations.
Man i appreciate your concise explanations and getting down to business. Greatly appreciate the over all video length being less than 10 minutes and not too much fluff. thank you thank you
HEy just watched you video...I have Xfinity service, which uses the Verizon cell towers network. Will your signal booster work with my Xfinity service, again which uses the Verizon network. If you can please respond asap. Thank you so much.
I got night hawk m1 and with ts9 mimo antenna I was able get 2 sometimes 3 bars. But i seem only draw 10-15 mbp down load my latency average 180s 190. Occasionally mbp jump 50-60 which awesome but never last more few seconds. I was wondering what would I need to get max bars better ping, jitters, and latency in country. And was wondering who would I call have it installed? My provider said half go third party gave no information where need look. Any help be awesome ty.
Hi that is great explanation... I have a quick question? I move to a house that has one of surecall amplification signal all ready conect but how I get the signal to my phone? Do I need a app?
Do you recommend anything for the residential use I get signal on half of my garage shop and there’s no Internet around me so needing something like this to be able to watch youtube/stream and Verizon is the only way that I can do that
I have a booster that i put the antenna on my car while on a conference call. I used a directional that pointed forward. Its a rual area and i held the call up all the way fo about 35 miles in arras i know drop you... Your cell will show full bars if its on the booster. The boosters cant boost the faster channels like band 66. So you may only get 12mbs but calls work well.
i'm more confused than ever. I have a house in the woods where i can only receive 1bar. i also use my phone as a hot spot if i get lucky. What do i need to get better service? DO i need to spend $300???
Hi simpleWIFI, What could help my internet Ping/Latency improve, i use wired connection internet and ive been looking at your videos but i dont know what antenna to pick, i would just like quicker ping i dont know if a different antenna would do this, can you point me in the right direction. Thanks, TheOnion
My wife and I are desperately needing some mean of boosting the signal in our home. As it is now, we have to go a good bit into the yard to make a phone call. Are these practical for a home? Are they a huge hassle to install?
Hey Raul, love the explainer videos. My parents are setting up a signal booster for their home but would ideally like to extend that signal to my dad's workshop (roughly 75ft away from the house with direct line of sight). Is there such a thing as a signal repeater? Maybe something that is just a simple plug in the wall and amplify the signal from the house within the shop? I'm aware of Wi-Fi products that do this but haven't found anything like it for cell phone signal systems. Maybe I'm not searching the right keywords online 🤷🏼♂️ Could you help me out?
He means the best it can do is open air outside your building signal. If standing outside is still 1 bar, then this device would just bring in 1 bar inside.
@@draco89123 That is actually not true....in many cases we get a stronger signal inside than outside, because the outside antenna is higher and stronger, and is amplifying a better signal than on the ground.....his point is well taken, but is not an absolute especially in commercial installations

Are there any cheaper repeater worth considering?
The extra insulation was likely foil-faced, which will block RF signals
I’ve installed systems that cover up to 100,000 sq ft., even installed at bucees across the country. This equipment definitely work 💪🏽

Ist safe to use it in office where people expsed to it direct for long hours?
I wonder how far the outside antenna can be from the amplifier
Can you make a tutorial how to add additional antennas for mobile sigbal boosters? Please

My pleasure - thanks for the kind words. More coming!

Thanks for the explanation. Can this be used for outdoor signal boost too? for example on a farm with NO or LOW signal.
Yes it can - give us a call to work through the setup.
Do you have to program it ? For a specific carrier ? Att T-Mobile Verizon etc
So is there a way to magically get more bars?
What is the name of the device in his hand that he walks around with?

WeBoost home signal booster is definitely the way to go.
I am from Zambia and there are a lot of these needed in the areas of no network. how do I get orders from you please?

Hey there, is there any device I can get that will make my network better in though the networks around me is poor?
Hey how are you doing
Any splitter for the cable works?
No - must be 50 Ohm splitter.
Thank you for your information and the clarity there of.
Pls my triband didn’t bring signals like before anymore, pls what’s the solution?

Awesome explanation!
Thanks! Glad you learned something.
Can you use a parabolic antenna for an outdoor antenna?
Yes, absolutely
Thanks for the information! Now I know to put the outdoor antenna outside. ha smh And understand that wifi and cell signals are two different things.
Hey how are you doing
Informative and detailed. Thanks.
do you guys service the Tampa Bay Area?
Yes - we have a local office. Give us a call or email support@simplewifi.com

They can be tricky - call our support line for more help.
If you feel that I do not have any experience, then you have some questions about booster signal.
You need to call the company to activate
What if the power goes out? The antenna still works without the power?
No, if the power goes out the "box" will loose power.
Thanks Mr. Raul!!!!
Can this device work on rural area where signal doesn't fully covered?
And can this works within 2km area?
Yes - with a strong directional cellular antenna outside like the 26dB ultra grid it can work.
You didn’t show what the amp inside connects to.
Well articulated 👌🏾👌🏾 thanks for the info
Nice job bro
Thanks!
Excellent work!!
How much it costs me I wanna buy it

If it doesn't boost the signal strength and only brings the same level signal from outside to indoors, why call it a booster?
It does boost signal inside... it's bringing the same quality signal from the outside but in order to do that it has to be boosted.
Great and informative
The best part is that these devises don't do miracle and amplify a signal that is already week 🙏

Thanks for the kind words - unfortunately for cellular there is not such thing. A new amp is needed for the workshop.
Doesnt boost signal?? I went from around -113 to - 90 sometimes mid 80s. So i don't understand when he says you won't get better signal
