- UPDATE - POSHMARK ACCEPTED THE RETURN - ITEM BEING SHIPPED DIRECTLY BACK TO THE SELLER.
I feel like the punches keep on coming… Bad things come in threes they say… Poshmark authenticated this item, and Authenticate First deemed it counterfeit!!! I have opened a case to find out what they will do about it. Wish me luck!

Can I ask what you said to them to make them accept the return? I had a fake sent straight to me without first going through PM for authentication because they were a “verified reseller” and they virtually authenticated it and said it was real but then I went through RealAuthentication and they said it was fake and I sent the document to them but they wouldn’t refund me.
Can you tell me how you got your money back. I am having a similar issue and Poshmark is not giving me a refund.

I bought sometnknf off of Poshmark that was fake and they said they have specialist and said it’s real smh I disputed it with my credit card and they gave me my money back

I’m so worried about buying a luxury bag, the fakes are getting better and better! These bags actually look like the real thing, and to make things worse, an authenticated can easily be fooled.

It's such a shame that so many bags are being passed off as real (whether knowingly or not!). I don't normally want to go through all the stress of authenticating, so I'm happy with paying more money or sticking to my lower end bags and buying from the store directly.
I've authenticated 20 items now with Authenticate First and only found two fakes - and I'm pretty sure there were none found when I used other authentication services over the years...it is risky to buy preloved and worth the peace of mind to authenticate, but now I think I'm gonna stick with ebay, Rebag & Fashionphile and maybe an occasional personal shopper or reseller on Facebook who I trust...♥️

This is why I 100% disagree with every one that says "it's not my business if someone wants to buy a fake bag". I used to think that too but here is why it's not ok. That fake bag may eventually be sold as a real bag. I'm so sorry this happened to you!! Thank you for this video.

Last year I bought a Coach Madison on Vestiaire Collective. They authenticated it before it was sent to me.
Many months later, I decided to sell that same handbag on Mercari. They required that I have the bag authenticated by them before I could post it for sale, and I sent an all the photographs so it was also authenticated.
I sold it, and the buyer contacted me right away to tell me she thought it was fake because she has authentic ones to compare it to. I was so shocked and told her that it was authenticated by Vestiaire Collective and Mercari. I was mortified and so apologetic to the buyer after I found out it was a fake that I had purchased all those months ago.
The buyer did get her money back and I did not try to resell it. I’m still upset and think I might just stick that bag in our outdoor wood burner. I need to delete my Mercari and Poshmark accounts. I have already deleted my Vestiaire collective one. 😡

Coincidentally, I just had a favorable experience with Poshmark in this regard. I had purchased an LV bag and it was sent directly to Posh for authentication as it was over $500. Once they received and examined it, they canceled my purchase and refunded me immediately as they indicated they could not confirm its authenticity.

I was sent a crack lv neonoe from Vestiaire that was meant to be very good condition! I sent pictures they said they’d reassess it and I got my money back! If they can over look cracks they can miss thing on authentication so I won’t buy from them again ! They resold the bag in very good condition 😡

Poshmark scammed me with some strass Louboutins in 2020. I submitted pictures of the fakes next to my real ones, pointing out the obvious discrepancies and they *still* wouldn't accept my return. Not shopping with them again.

@@thehandbaghousewife yess it was a Natasha Denona palette and a Gucci compact I actually brought the products into a Sephora and they confirmed they were not authentic by the cheap packaging and the products texture etc High end cosmetics are “faked” everywhere I’ve seen a big stand at my local outdoor market selling products

This has happened to me. It’s very upsetting, makes me wonder how qualified these “Authenticators” are. The MJ the tote bag is fakes so much now that’s one bag I wouldn’t buy preloved. There’s something off with that Peekaboo, maybe the dimension is slightly off? I only say that because I’m very familiar w that bag. How these things are passing I’ll never know. Sorry that happened to you.

There are a ton of fakes on Poshmark... recently was looking at Tumi backpacks and there are several sellers selling fakes.

I don't trust Ebay. They state Buyer's guaranteed but I've brought LV " new" item there but when received it was obviously used with wear. I requested a return but Seller posted no returns on listing- so EBay just closed my case without questioning the Buyer even though Buyer stated she would accept the return item from me in our in box chats. 😥

The selleria bag is fake. It's craftsmanship for me. I sew so it's glaring. At this point I'd just give up buying from resale sites.
It is good to know about the craftsmanship - I noticed the glazing was a bit sloppy when I did the video as well...I have decided to limit where I purchase from for sure! ♥️
I don’t purchase bags from the Real Real because the accept returns on bag. Same thing with Poshmark because they don’t accept returns.
I know it's scary to do so, but most times they will in situations like this...still not worth it though🥰
I haven’t purchased from Poshmark in 2 years. I received 2 vintage Coach bags from them 2 years ago. I had them authenticated after I learned about authenticating handbags. They both were fakes. I didn’t find out they were fake until months later. I contacted Poshmark and sent photos. They replied back and said the bags were authentic. After reexamining the bags myself, one felt like pure plastic, and the other one was real leather, but the leather was thinner than the traditional vintage Coach leather. I ended up losing a total of $145 on both bags.

Not just the bag even Chanel Earrings so many fake on EBay and I seen some one buy I just feel bad for that person EBay should do some thing with this people selling fake thing.. and AAA+ fake so it look so real but I can tell
