Hey Aaryn!! I hope I'm spelling your name correctly. This bag is so me. The shade of pink on this bag is gorgeous. I don't always wear pink if my bag is pink. I feel like pink matches so many other colors. Omg!! I just realize you hit 7K. I love your outfit. I totally understand about you not wanting to do videos as much. My husband will be retiring in 1 year. I can't spend money like I've been doing. Also puppies are so much work. Your puppy is adorable. I've never heard of this mix. What's her mix? Let me see if I can guess. Is it a Cavalier and a Bichon Frise?

I hear you. There is a tendency to over consume when you have a channel or just watch lux UA-cam on the regular. As a handbag lover I have to consciously be mindful of my spending and lux bags are not cheap. Additionally I am not surprised that your Dress Up You Purse bag has better hardware then LV. LV has over 6,OOO boutiques worldwide vs Zara which has over 2,OOO. So the fact of the matter is that in order to keep the boutiques stocked they have become luxury fast fashion in my opinion. I say this because we have all been brainwashed me included in thinking that the heritage blah blah blah is important but we must remember that that really does not matter to a conglomerate that has stock holders and needs to deliver growth every quarter. I have some old LV bags over 2O years old and the canvas is much thicker and more durable. I considered buying a their mini back Pack this summer so while I was on vaca in Osaka I went into an LV boutique to purchase cause the yen was so weak…but that canvas on that bag feeled like plastic and was so very thin. Now I know for a fact that LV has a plant 3O minutes from where I live in SoCal and am wondering if they have a plant in asia as I’m sure they do cause it is cheaper to make many of the basic canvas pieces where the demand is as they avoid all the cost in shipping etc. Sorry I am getting long winded but my point is the quality on many LV bags is just ok…not different from my mid tier brands and some of my mid tier is better using 14K gold plating on their hardware which LV and Chanel do not do. I think as a bag and lux ready to wear lover the quality just keeps going down. The best way to increase profits for these brands is by cutting cost and secondly raising prices…so I do not think the luxury slump is temporary…I think many consumers are wising up and being much more selective with purchases. My heart broke when I found out that LVMH invested in Polene. They know they need to appeal to mid tier pricing so it looks like they will gobble them up and as we know…that will be the end of quality. I have an old Rimowa suitcase that I bought on a trip to Germany over 15 years ago before LVMH bought them. People are com[laining that the quality is crap as their suitcases are cracking and splitting men while my old suitcase still looks pretty good with know spitting or cracking. This is a sad day in the world of luxury all…it is a race to the bottom from what I can see so I now buy vintage ready to wear to mix in with my old pieces and mostly prelove and vintage bags where the quality from the past still stands the test of time. Watch out for these lux brands and stay away from the cheap zippers, plastic buttons, cheap hardware and polyester blended fabrics. Food for thought …for us all…watch your money as 2O25 will be another down year for luxury. China will not be able to save these brands so they will find new ways to cut corners. My two cents.
