You are a life saver! This information need to get out there. I cant tell you how many times I drive these vehicles home with no success adding 20-40 min to my drive. And then just to give up and send it to the dealer for an hour labor.

Great video! I was bound and determined NOT to pay Honda when my BRAND NEW Odyssey with 410 miles wouldn’t pass smog. (Not even mentioning how CA requires a smog test on my BRAND NEW car because I bought it out of state… and fwiw they also make me pay the extra sales tax but at least that makes a tiny bit of sense!) I was driving around all afternoon doing my best to follow the official Honda instructions on cycling the monitors with no hint of success until this brilliant gentleman saved the day!

THANK YOU! Sport mode and manual paddle shifting definitely worked! I have been driving 200 miles this weekend and had no cigar, but this works for the EGR monitor in minutes.

That's Honda's iHDS software.
