Very Similar to the mr 12v system i put in my 987 S - There is probably a box somewhere that will take a USB stick. The mr 12v works i think via the TV source button rather than the double button push - It is a bit laggy scrolling wise also and the Resolution isnt as good as a modern unit but its pretty good and more importantly it keeps the OEM look like you mentioned
Rennworks PorschaCare would be my first choice for supply and installation of this NM Automotive system, they have done a number of 997 and 991 cars for our customers and their own. Cheers, Raj
Should be soon, but £2k including installation. This is less than half and you keep your original headunit too for the complete OEM look. I think the PCCM+ is distinctly different in the 996/997.1 I've seen. Cheers, Raj
@@MRSPORTSCARSPORSCHE I have a suspicion that they will have taken onboard the negative feedback of the Gen 1 PCCM+ and upped their game with Gen 2, I hope so at least!
@@MRSPORTSCARSPORSCHEand if only NM Automotive or others providing similar solutions could do a replacement screen with higher resolution. That I would pay for.
Nice demo…care to tell us how this happened? Fairy dust? A download from apple? Anew generation iphone? A free pcm upgrade from porsche? Can i sit with you at the cool table? Im still listening to am radio on my 2009 and would be happy to be clued in on the HOW!
There are various kits that are non Porsche approved available online, ideally professional install only. An example would be Mr12volt or NM Automotive, just google them and you will find out about them and where to source from. Cheers!
Hi, I can’t seem to get the same result you had with my PCM 3.0 in my 997.2 of 2009. What software version had this PCM? Mine is running 1.47. Many thanks Sam
Hi Sam, do you have the NM Automotive motherboard installed in your PCM headunit? It is an aftermarket retrofit, the standard PCM 3.0 won't do this without the extra electronics installed. Cheers, Raj
Thank you for sharing this , very good information
No problem, thanks! Raj

Thanks Jon, I had seen that system too. In my video I was incorrect, you just need to push the INFO button! Cheers, Raj
Nice I will have this fitted once I find the right 991 I’m
Serching for. looks cool in that 997 🙌🏼
Thanks Barry, also a great addition to a 991, particularly the NM Automotive system. Thanks, Raj
@@MRSPORTSCARSPORSCHE Thank you Raj 🙌🏼
This is one of the mods I really want to do in my 997.2. I’ve got to save up a bit at the moment. Raj, can you recommend a fitter in Essex/herts area?

Can’t be long surely for the PCCM+ for Gen 2’s to come out?

I have the same system. Audio steering controls work but not skip track. Is there a way to fix?
Best to ask NM or whoever is the producer of the system you have installed. Cheers, Raj
