Just installed this over the weekend; I followed your directions (great vid) as well as the MrVolt one - i have a 2009 GTS, and did find that the PCM3.0 Unit from Mr12volt doesnt seem to fit easily into the spot where your video and mr12 suggests (maybe something changed on the M12V side) - I would say for those in the same sitch as me; maybe open up that cubby first before starting the install and see if your unit fits there first. It seems like this could fit if i grind away at some of the support thats inside - or figuring out a good way to mount it behind or in the glovebox
All I want is a usb connection for my oem head unit, but this is tempting. Great video!

Hello, I bought a CarPlay screen to replace the one in my 2009 Porsche Cayanne and it was installed perfectly and everything works. I can't hear the audio. I have to put a fiber optic box in it, or do I have to for the sound or not, or do I return the screen and buy it? What you explained in the video. What do you recommend? thank you

I just got this and followed the steps, but can't get "TV" to show up at all. Did your Porsche have the 6-disc CD changer? Mine does and I think that might be my problem, but I could be wrong.

Hey! I've never retrofitted PCM 3.0 but I heard it's possible. Definitely check the forums on that. My vehicle came with PCM 3.0

I have a 2010 Cayenne that has a PCM3.0 in it, will this work? It says 2009, which I believe is when the 2010 was built. I was going to put in an Xtrons, but I like this better.
They also have a PCM 3.1 adapter on their site if needed

Good video but your instruction shows to remove the radios XM module. If you remove it, the sound wont work.

What PCM do you have 3.0 or 3.1. I have 3.0 and I lost sound from all sources, even FM radio with the XM module removed. Did you remove the module or just the internal antenna cable?
