Just updated my 2017 boxster using your video... Not everything was exactly the same during the install process, but figured it out and it worked like a charm! Thank you so so so much for putting this video together!
If you're doing this I URGE you to make sure that your patches are properly extracted into the patches folder. I didn't the first time and noticed that nothing was actually extracted into them so when I did the installation process, everything went somewhat smoothly until I connected my phone and nothing happened. Hooray! After 3 days of using other sites and resources, your description and files finally got it to work on my 2018 Boxster!!! This is by far the best walkthrough I've found. Thank you.
Worked like a charm... a couple of things I ran into. 1- The SD update would not auto-run until I fully turned the car on 2- The green would not activate unless I pressed the Car and Tuner button the entire time, otherwise it'd go back to the Home screen 3- After the the patch_unit_aio process finished, it gave a few errors but then said "You can now go back" I plugged my phone in and it worked!
