Hey Justin what issues did you and Brian run into during the install? How were you guys able to fix it?
We we had to do trial and error to figure out which coding we needed for the resolution and we werent getting audio at first. The shot where he moves the fiber optic cable from the old harness to the new one was shot after the install and I edited it into the steps so people could follow along
@@justinbuice ah okay I appreciate the response. The new screen looks dope and glad to see the install went well
Does this integrate with cars equipped with heads-up display? Been thinking about doing this for a while but not sure if it would work with HUD
Won.t. Work
@@Ajdjdncjekskf Why?
@@jouldalk I know these, they don’t. They can communicate with the HUD.
@@Ajdjdncjekskf OK. So basically I would lose hud if I do this mode, right?
@@jouldalk OEM hud keeps working. But route instructions coming from apple carplay itself won’t show on HUD. If any other questions ask www.bimmersupplies.nl , theyy will help 🙂.
Does yours work with iOS 14? Mine has been dead since the update and won't take a firmware update.
When are you gonna get a PO box so we can send you stuff?
Would this be the same parts and installation process for a 2012 F31?
Does it work on a e90 with no navigation
I have a Bmw 330e 2017 without apple carplay, is it possible to install in this model?
Thank you for your fantastic work
Would this work in my 15' F22 as well?
???????????

I mean its all great but damn man. You gotta spend like 2k (screen and the stuff needed) on just the retrofit without taxes and import fees. Like why even bother at that point lol

Mine is paired to my phone via bluetooth, with the phone providing the internet connection.
