Without you, I wouldn’t have gotten my wonderful job that I have today. Thanks a bunch!
Passed my lifeguarding class a few days ago first try and i already have a job as a a lifeguard. Your videos helped me so much especially for the written exam. Thank you so much!
congrats! that's awesome.
THIS IS SO HELPFUL!! 😄
Awesome, thank you! Quizlet is great to practice too!
Do you know the name of quizlet?
i have my test in 40 minutes, nervous to say the least
How did it go
I wish we got a text book because our training is a day and a half long and the other half of the second day is the written test so basically we are told the names of everything once and have no paper copies to go off of
i have my swim test on Friday these videos have helped a lot thank you
Good luck
How'd you do?
This is so helpful, thank you, wish me luck.
I have a written portion tomorrow, wish me luck! Thanks for your advice!
Good luck! Your going to do great
@@LifeofAdam I passed the written portion! I have to pass the swimming portion now. Thanks so much, I will probably watch more of your videos to understand more.
4:44 i know multiple people in my life that play the victim so that shouldnt be too hard 💀
I’ve been watching all these videos I got to do it Friday Ik you told me not to be nervous it’s just this will be my first job hopefully I really want to pass
Upsidedown focus on one thing at a time. The pretest is very manageable and once u complete it, ur in the clear! The rest of the way they hold ur hand and you’ll learn the material as u go. Your fine!
Life of Adam got the test tmr umm wish me luck 🙏 your videos really helped me I hop and I’m not as nervous I will update you as I go thanks for everything ❤️🥰
@@justcallmesheed how did it go
Roman Ades I passed
Im 13 but i want to be ready for when im 15 and ive already learned alot
Where we at now
my job gave me a pretest and it had very specific questions about strokes, severed body parts and exposed organs. is there an easy way to study so i remember specific symptoms and first aid?
T413 I would look back at your notes from the Lifeguarding course. If u don’t have any notes about specifics such as how to handle/ identify if someone has a stroke, etc.. google signs and symptoms and write them down. Then combine the notes and memorize it.. that’s how I would do it. Good luck!
Life of Adam thanks this is very helpful 😊
I have my test on Father’s Day !
nobody cares :(
I have a swim test on sunday and I dont know if I have written exam
Take my test today and low key sitting in the parking lot panicking
in may 2021 which is when i will start my training so i want to know, i will be 14 about to turn 15 and can i still take the test and and if not when do u recommend me to take it my birthday is 6/13
I recommend taking the test sometime in the summer so that the lifeguard recertification test (which is every two years I wanna say) and the CPR recertification test (which is every year) doesn’t get in the way of school, I’m taking my test in a little over a week so that it’s not in the middle of everything
What is tye name of the course for life gaurding
does anyone know how their lifeguard written test was . i have my training the 12th & 13th
update : i got the job . they didn't rlly care if we cheated bc all of us lifeguards were at the cabanas taking our tests and the head guards/supervisors were somewhere else so ya😂 but i had to also pass the tests w cpr (hands on) which i did (:
LT mannn omg do you have any tips?! I’m scared shitless
Cami Hubbard girl just pleaseee practice a week before u go to ur training . i was about to throw up and pass out when i was doing 12 laps of freestyle . and after we did the brick retrieval then the tread water (which i kind of failed bc we had to have our arms out of the water but this guy let me slide) and it was crazy . but an update about the job :: we aren't working right now due to covid-19 and summer is already almost over /: so idk if we gonna work
@@ltc986 same, I never practiced continuous swimming prior to the 12 laps, and after I threw up and was on the verge of fainting haha
@@ltc986 I just did 12 hours yesterday and this Sunday we got to do more then the written test I am freaking out any tips to study I am going to use quizlet to study but anything work for you
Hehe thank you because the test is soon
Is there a website I can go to to study for this test??? I never got a textbook or anything , my test is very soon and I don't know how I should study for this and I am very stressed.
Look for lifeguard quizlets
It sucks when ur given ur test 1 day after 1 session
Yeah it sucks I passed cpr I have the written thing now
There are so many quizlets! Which one is the most accurate
Let me know which one you find more accurate theres different ones
I’m stressing so much!! How many questions is on the written test??
Stormie Ramsey anywhere between 35-50
Life of Adam omg thank you
Do you pay before the pre test or after the pre test.
before
I took the pre requirement test today I passed the get object from under water part thanks to your video it a timmy doll that we have to get
leopardgal 333 nice work!
@@LifeofAdam thanks I'm nervous for my actual training course though and worried because I'm a diabetic and if my blood sugar get to low I end up passing out
Is the written test only multiple choice?
Jacob Texter ya
how many question are on the written test
Anywhere from 35-50 multiple choice questions
@@LifeofAdam I’m doing my pre test tomorrow, my classes are only three days. So idk if I will do good on the written test.
I’m sooo I scared I’m out of shape my test is in a week
I passed cpr but I have my written test tomorrow. Wish me luck.
Rekm Renzo goodluck!
Written test is what I’m scared about tbh
@@Itsjayduhhhhh there is quizlets with literally all the answers
@@rekmrenzo473 what is the exact wuizlet
i didn't study and my exam is in 1 hour.
How did you do?
@@stareatme9983 passed
@@Parker-ox8pm nice how long did your courses take because I go tomorrow for 3 days.
How hard is the dreading water
Not that difficult, the 2 min for the test goes by fast. Very do-able
@@LifeofAdam is the traing 7 hours long also what do you do
@@LifeofAdam can the pre test be in the 8 hour class or is always separate also can you do it at 15 the whole class?
I took a practice test online and got 85% but I’m it’s not the same 😭
Omg I got an 85% too I’m so scared I literally have my real test tomorrow how did yours go??
@@emmadowning531 I promise it’s actually really easy it’s just common sense ❤️
How similar to the online test is the written test?
Oscar they are both multiple choice so relatively similar. Most lifeguard courses have cpr/aed questions in the online test, and general lifeguard knowledge on the written test. Others just have it all in written form and combined.. it’s not a big deal
@@LifeofAdam which one did you take?
Griffin OG mine was just one big written exam that we took on the last day. I’ve also taken an online version for the recert that u need to take every 2 years to keep the cert.. both easy
@@LifeofAdam ok thanks
I'm studying 2 week in advance lol
is this red cross
Yes
