Hi Guys!! Sorry... I hope you're not disappointed. I'd love to react to Dazed and Confused by Led Zeppelin from the Song Remains the Same. Unfortunately, due to copyright infringement issues, UA-cam blocked that video!! It takes forever to make it and upload it!! Anyway, I hope you still enjoy with this version. Luv u all...!! 🤍🤍

Every live version is unique and different that was one of their trademarks. They would take the live performances an many different directions no two performances where the same. Jimmy would just improvised and the band would instinctively follow whatever direction the song went. John Bonham and Jimmy Page where always on the same page and Robert would constantly mix the vocal arrangements to whatever the vibe would take him then Jonesy was like the glue that kept it all together their live shows would be 3-4 hours long because of this.Jimmy once said that ya we have a play list but I can’t say what direction the songs will go. That all depends on the vibe. There are no bad zeppelin songs and you never knew what you where going to head during their live shows. These 4 masterful musicians could take their music in any direction that they wanted. Just another reason they where then they are now and the will forever be the greatest band to ever grace the stage

God Its so different from the album track Its so improvised you would hardly know its the same song !But still amazin Isaw then do this at the Bath Frstival of Rock and Blues in 1970 and after all this time its still ringing in my years. Compare the studio version with this and you will see the difference. Led Zep 1 for me is the greatest debut album of all time ! Try Over the Hills and Far Away or Going to California next. slowe and more acoustic oriented !Both classics !👍💕

The one and only Led Zeppelin...you really don’t have to go through their history every time you react to them...we all know who they are.😊😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 you have to react to: In my time of Dying, one of their pure blues tunes! It’s my favorite! If that is even possible with L.Z. The next is always my favorite!

I was there and witnessed this musical and artistic masterclass. The perfect fusion of art and music in their customary epic performance. I queued for four hours and paid £7.50 for a ticket. Some people amused themselves by throwing beer cans at a police van, happy days.

Thank you very much for the reaction. Watching or listening to Dazed and Confused played live is an odyssey. This song is originally by Jake Holmes. When Jimmy was in The Yardbirds, they reworked it to fit their own sound and Jimmy used a bow then too. When he created Led Zeppelin, he brought this song with him and with Robert, John Paul Jones and Bonzo, reworked it yet again into the behemoth you heard/watched.

    Holy smokes,
    You did it...
    You took on:
    THE BIG ONE...!
    THE ALMIGHTY:
"DAZED AND CONFUSED"...THE LIVE VERSION, OR AT LEAST ONE OF THEM...!
    LLLLLLLLLOOOOOLLLLLL...!!!!!!!
I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE EVER SEEN ANYONE ELSE DO A "VIDEO REACTION" TO A 30 MINUTE PLUS VERSION OF "DAZED" BEFORE...!
I MEAN EVERY "VIDEO REACTIONIST" HAS THEIR "TAKE," THEIR "OPINION," THEIR "FEELING"
ABOUT THE STUDIO, LED ZEPPELIN 1 VERSION.
BUT, TO DO A 30 MINUTE PLUS VERSION:
    TOUCHE, ELOK HSU...
    CONGRATULATIONS...!
    KUDOS...!
I RAISE MY GLASS OF DOM PERIGNON TO YOU...!
I ENJOYED WATCHING YOUR REACTION TO JIMMY PAGE, THE OLD "PAGEMEISTER" BEGIN HIS LENGTHY AND EXPANSIVE "VIOLIN BOW" SHOW (OH, WOW...THAT RHYMES...), JOURNEY OR SOJOURN.
THE FIRST TIME I SAW THE LED ZEPPELIN CONCERT FILM:
"THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME," WHICH WAS RELEASED IN 1976, NOT 1971...( I GOTCHA' ELOK )...
ALL OF MY OLDER BROTHER'S GIRL AND GUY PALS SAID TO ME:
"YA' GOTTA' SEE THE VERSION THEY DO OF 'DAZED AND CONFUSED'... BECAUSE JIMMY 'GOES WILD' WITH THE VIOLIN BOW FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES EASY...
AND, JOHN BONHAM'S GIVING HIS MASSIVE GONG AND DRUM KIT A SUPER-DUPER WORKOUT...
    YOU'RE GONNA' 'FREAK OUT'... REALLY...!!!"
    GUESS WHAT...?
    THEY WERE TOTALLY CORRECT...!
THANKS FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT
    "VIDEO REACTION"...
    HONESTLY AND SINCERELY:
IT'S ALWAYS A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF FUN TO WATCH AND SEE HOW SOMEONE REACTS TO A "REALLY COOL" PIECE OF MUSIC OR A SONG/TUNE THAT THEY' VE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD BEFORE.
    I SAY THIS BECAUSE:
MY OLDER BROTHER, BILLY, AND HIS FRIENDS: ANTHONY, RICHIE, STEVIE AND ALL OF THEIR GIRLFRIENDS WERE LAUGHING AND JOKING AND AMUSED BY MY OWN PERSONAL "REACTION" TO SEEING "DAZED AND CONFUSED" FOR THE FIRST TIME FROM:
    "THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME"...
I MUST HAVE BEEN QUITE A SIGHT TO BEHOLD....!
I WISH THAT YOU, EVERYONE COULD SEE MY LED ZEPPELIN
    COLLECTIBLE AND MEMORABILIA COLLECTION....
IT'S REALLY HUGE...AND GROWING...! LOL...! LOL...! LOL...!
    NEXT UP:
    "NO QUARTER" FROM EARL'S COURT,
    5-24-1975...
JOHN PAUL JONES "BRILLIANTLY SHINES" IN THIS VERSION, AS JIMMY PAGE DID IN "DAZED AND CONFUSED" FROM THE SAME SHOW...
    YOU WOULD LOVE IT...!!!
    STAY: HAPPY, HEALTHY AND SAFE...!!!!
    WHAT'S IT LIKE IN INDONESIA...?

Check out Going To California, That's The Way and Bron-y-aur Stomp from this same Earl's Court show. You've heard a lot of their harder stuff, now take the time to listen to their "softer" acoustic side. Zeppelin was doing "Unplugged" before it was even a concept.

Great choice Elok, this song is a good one on the album. BUT, when I saw the movie "The Song Remains the Same" and the concert footage from thier 1973 show at Madison Square Garden that was used in it and Jimmy broke out the bow I knew I was in for something other worldly, and I was right.
Now if you're looking for some great long live performances might I suggest Emerson, Lake & Palmer's "Karn Evil 9" from "Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends, Ladies and Gentlemen Emerson, Lake & Palmer...". Off the triple album of the same name from 1974. The track itself is over 35 minutes long and it will take you on a journey, you have to see and hear to believe.

This version never gets old. Glad you watched and reacted to it. You are expanding your knowledge of music and soaking it all in. Love seeing that. When they played Chicago in front of 18,000 people it would get so quiet you could hear a pin drop when they played this song. Amazing memories and I am so happy you get to see these videos.
Believe it or not the best seats went for $7.50 the first time I saw them and a couple years later it went to $8.50. It was hard to get the best seats though back then. No internet then and had to do by phone (which was busy 99.9% of the time and no cell phones yet) or sit outside until the record shop opened. By then the best seats were gone. So we all tried to win the tickets from the local radio station when the 5th caller or whatever number they said called would get the tickets and sometimes meet them backstage. I never got that lucky. lol.

LOL I forgave him but seriously I never held it against him. I just figured he took it easy that night LOL

I don't know if he had throat illness or issues but even with whatever he had he still have it his all and the performance was still amazing (:. Which is another thing about Led Zeppelin (:. They would do alot of improving in songs making them different longer more melodic or rocking at other times (:. But every night in each concert no song was ever alike in the improvisation ever (:. And that's what truly made them Phenomonally Epically Great and so different from other bands (:. Nobody is like Led Zeppelin and nobody ever will be (:. Lol your reaction and lol LZ (:

New Zealand sends our regards Elok! 👋🏻🇳🇿 As well as conjuring wraithlike wails from his Les Paul with a violin bow, Page gives a masterful demonstration of how old school guitarists used to control the amount of distortion in their tone by simply adjusting the guitar’s volume control. The guts of this song was “borrowed” by Page from an acoustic guitar composition of the same name by Jake Holmes, and was originally part of the set of The Yardbirds, which Page joined after the bass player quit. You can probably find a clip of The Yardbirds’ version on UA-cam, although it sounds rather flaccid in comparison, as Keith Relf was no Robert Plant. You may know this already, but after The Yardbirds fell apart, Page was left with the name and so Led Zeppelin was originally billed as The New Yardbirds. I look forward to what you have in store for us next! Rock on! 🤘🏻
