Also Dazed n Confused, the fast part of it. It is straight out metal, in 69. Black Sabbath also ripped off Paranoid’s riff from Dazed’. He even said “There would be no Sabbath without Zeppelin”. Jimmy Page and Zeppelin are amazing and essential in rock's history but Tony Iommi and Sabbath are out of this world. Thanks for another great video Miguel!
Man that's a tear drop from my face cause honestly I feel like in a very distant way both bands shouldn't... Be pitted against each other because they almost in a way work together and have music identical to each other but both have there own signature style that is there own. Zeppelin is my vote but it doesn't mean Sabbath is bad actually insane good, 70's music is all around just so inspirational for guitarists and dude.. Keep up these riff video's. Nice tone for the Sabbath also!!!
I'm voting for Black Sabbath, but only because I am bias towards Iommi, he wrote such classic riffs & did it without all of his fingers. If he had not had his accident most likely his playing would have developed very differently. By the way, you played those riffs very well, thanks for sharing.
Tony apart from being guitar god is also an inventor, he creates genre within genre there can be no questions who is a great player and who is an architect
Fun fact: Black Sabbath was afraid "Paranoid" would be too similar to "Communication Breakdown" and were hoping they wouldn't get sued. They didn't. Extra fun fact: Black Sabbath's "Rat Salad" is structured almost exactly the same as Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick." Intro riff, drum solo, outro (intro w/ fills).
He didn't even do Zeppelin's best riffs, like "The Ocean", "Heartbreaker", "Out On The Tiles", "Good Times Bad Times", "Celebration Day", "In My Time Of Dying", etc. I absolutely love Black Sabbath and consider Iommi a genius but Led Zeppelin is 50,000 times better. Literally every Zeppelin song has an amazing riff, and every song has it's own unique atmosphere. With Black Sabbath, many of the songs have one signature sound.
Totally two different type of bands. Led Zeppelin is a Classic blues rock band and Sabbath invented a whole new style of bluesy rock. Led zeppelin and blue cheer would of been a better comparison. I don't know any band that had a style like Sabbath back then.
Man... I loved this video so much...fantastic job...I had a smile on my face the whole time...when u played zepp...I said winner...wait... now Sabbath...winner...wait zepp again...oh my god...no clear winner...except for us watching and listening...thx again...beautiful!
Came here expecting Into The Void, Electric Funeral, Children of the Grave etc. and I really expected Symptom of the Universe after Communication Breakdown, but I forgot how many hit songs Sabbath have.. Glad you picked A National Acrobat though!
sabbath is when it all began no doubt, but Zeppelin was the beginning of the evolution , but the real prize here is we get to listen to those iconic riff played by such a great talented metalhead such as you , for you sir i say cheers as always exceptional work
Those two guys - and also Blackmore and Hendrix - were the DNA for all rock that came after. It’s weird how Page’s riffs in many ways were simpler, but funkier, but Zep’s songs were more harmonically complex and varied. I think Page used the riffs as parter of a larger sonic picture, but Iommi’s riffs carried whole Sabbath songs. Both guys were rock geniuses.
Excellent job!!! Got to be a lot of work getting these videos done. While they look so simple, getting the timing down perfect to reacting to yourself. Great job. Maybe Scorpions. But against who??
As much as I hate to admit it, I'm going to have to give it to Zeppelin, in terms of guitar playing, anyways. Their riffs are more complex and varied. Sabbath are still gods, no matter how easy their riffs are to play
I think Sabbath is more rhythmically complex, while Zeppelin is more harmonically complex. Those chord changes are easy, but timing them is another story!
@@Gguy061 Noothing about Sabbath was more complex than Zeppelin. Some of Zeppelin's time signature experimentation would have completely confused Sabbath. That's why they did almost everything in straight ahead 4/4. Unimaginative band that just wanted to be "heavy."

Youre ouf if your god damn mind if you cant see the Led Sabbath is clearly better.
For me, Led Zeppelin is the best band in the history of rock, of all times. I love them!
👍😉
I disagree Black Sabbath is the creator of heavy metal they’re the gods
and Black Sabbath is the best band in the history of metal, Rock on bro! \m/
Led zeppelin change the rock and roll history forever.
@@cristianulloa4304 and black sabbath invented metal
Jimmy Page and Zeppelin are amazing and essential in rock's history but Tony Iommi and Sabbath are out of this world. Thanks for another great video Miguel!
Thanks a lot my friend!
Rock on.. 👍😉🤘
My EARS WIN !!!!

Thanks a lot dude!
🤘😉🤘
Incredible..an the winner is miguel, because is impossible choose the best... Complimenti miguel, sei un chitarrista incredibile🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thanks a lot man! 👍😉
Deffinitely Zeppelin, they're one of the best bands ever
I'm voting for Black Sabbath, but only because I am bias towards Iommi, he wrote such classic riffs & did it without all of his fingers. If he had not had his accident most likely his playing would have developed very differently. By the way, you played those riffs very well, thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot man!
Regards from Portugal! 🤘😜🤘
You are The Man.
Ya, but jimmy played his riffs without his soul
@@furlong337 😂
He had all his fingers, they were just shorter than normal!
Tony Iommi.. King of the killer riff!
Sabbath all the way, Iommi made the sickest riffs!
Tony apart from being guitar god is also an inventor, he creates genre within genre there can be no questions who is a great player and who is an architect
👍😉
Fun fact: Black Sabbath was afraid "Paranoid" would be too similar to "Communication Breakdown" and were hoping they wouldn't get sued. They didn't.
Extra fun fact: Black Sabbath's "Rat Salad" is structured almost exactly the same as Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick." Intro riff, drum solo, outro (intro w/ fills).
Gotta go with Sabbath. Tony is the master of riffs.
And Page a god on solos
He didn't even do Zeppelin's best riffs, like "The Ocean", "Heartbreaker", "Out On The Tiles", "Good Times Bad Times", "Celebration Day", "In My Time Of Dying", etc. I absolutely love Black Sabbath and consider Iommi a genius but Led Zeppelin is 50,000 times better. Literally every Zeppelin song has an amazing riff, and every song has it's own unique atmosphere. With Black Sabbath, many of the songs have one signature sound.
Tony is the master of riffs, Page is the master of lifted riffs
@@KTF0 Actually he's more the master of lifting lyrics and writing original riffs. "Black Mountain Side" being the one exception.
Hehehe...
Thanks a lot my friend!

I absolutely love Black Sabbath but Jimmy Page wrote simply epic stuff, Zeppelin is beyond greatness!

The prince of darkness claims them all in the end.
The singer for Black Sabbath ozzy osbourne
Came here expecting Into The Void, Electric Funeral, Children of the Grave etc. and I really expected Symptom of the Universe after Communication Breakdown, but I forgot how many hit songs Sabbath have..
Glad you picked A National Acrobat though!
sabbath is when it all began no doubt, but Zeppelin was the beginning of the evolution , but the real prize here is we get to listen to those iconic riff played by such a great talented metalhead such as you , for you sir i say cheers as always exceptional work
Thank you very much my friend!

Sabbath is still better
Led Zeppelin beats Black Sabbath any day, better songs, better drummer

I think you should have played "Into The Void" by Black Sabbath, one of my favourite Sabbath songs, and I think the riff is awesome.

When it comes to riffs, You just can't beat Tony Iommi. He is hailed as the riff master for a reason!

I get the bigger kick out of Sabbath riffs but Zeppelin had more epic longer songs. God, I love these two band so much.
🤘😉🤘
that's the way to go
Love both bands but sabbath is my go to for the riffs
🤘😉🤘
A tie. Toni Iommi Is a riff generator and a solo, same as Jimmy Page
👍😉🤘
My top two favorite bands of all time... but if I had to come down to one it would be Sabbath
WOW, QUE BUEN VIDEO.TE PASASTE CON ESOS RIFFS 🤘😎
Muchas Gracias! 🤘😉🤘
Ingenious!!! will try to advertisment that video whereever i can!
Ozzy Osbourne vs Alice Cooper
I like that idea my friend! 👍😉
Lol it's could be coolest duet ever
Ozzy all the way
the problem there, is that you are asking for a battle between 2 vocalists
@@rowanwills9698 lol
Excellent job!!! Got to be a lot of work getting these videos done. While they look so simple, getting the timing down perfect to reacting to yourself. Great job.
Maybe Scorpions. But against who??
Thank you very much my friend!

Against van halen, Kiss or UFO perhaps?
Against Guns n Roses...
Jay Hardwick He’s done Slash before. But could work.
billy kelly. Just thought would work being from same era.
Sabbath got the toughness, but Zep got the feeling, bro. Love 'em both.
🤘😉🤘
There should never be any competition between them. They are both legendary iconic bands in my book, and should never be compared one to the other.
Black Sabbath every time
Excellent Miguel ! Respect from Turkey. #TeamSabbath
Thank you very much!

Man I would've loved to see Jimmy Page and Tony Iommi on stage together doing a riff-off.
