Glad to see you’re back making these types of videos more frequently. You were one of the first channels I watched when I first started travel vlogging in 2016. And you keep bringing the value !!
*I just clicked when I saw (Donosti) San Sebastian in the thumbnail!!*
Thanks u for tips
Thanks Thomas. I am the kind of person who shoots too much footage without any fore thought and then gets overwhelmed and never edits!! Whenever I watch your videos, I think I’m gonna be a better videographer!! Haha..one day xx
Thank you for your all videos. ..
luv your vids & tips ....
Tips1 : film less - get all in one shots
Tips2 : film ppl over places - emotions
Tips3 : film - the story
I have started using your tips every time I take a video no. Changed the game for my amateur vids mate. thanks for making these and looking forward to the next one.
Brilliant tips thank you.
Genius lies in simplicity. Thanks for breaking things down and making it easy. You have a gift for simplifying what seems hard. Thanks for your efforts :)
Every video you make, is a bless! Thank you!
Excellent tutorial
Thank you..
I learn much with you Man. Thanks
Damn, I was just thinking about the whole people over places thing for my upcoming trip. Hope Emily is ready for two weeks of me capturing her funny faces lol
I have learned more from this video than the rest of UA-cam combined, thank you Sir! Just got a gimbal for my A7III and hope to film our next family/friends holiday next month and edit together something cool for us all, not the usual dreary holiday snaps/movie that we all hate...fingers crossed!
This is fantastic! I'll definitely incorporate these tips (+ no panning at all - something I'm very guilty of). Thank you very much!
On point as always! Thanks Thomas!
Another great Tips to Level Up. Thanks Sir.
Thank you for all these awesome tips!
Thanks loved the video. If possible please make more videos for regular people who just want make videos of their kids and families. I'm heading to Europe this summer with my wife and our boys and I'm going to try and apply these tips to make some memories for us to look back on. Once again thank you.
Excellent tips! Thank you!
This was INCREDIBLY helpful!!! Thank you so much!!!
Great tips, I got a trip next week finally I have an Idea where to start! Thanks buddy.
Always coming with the fire tips man, thanks for teaching us so much!
Thank you so much. I really liked this video so simple yet it is thoughtful.
Hey Thomas! Love this video and have been loving the 3 day course as well. Wish I'd stumbled on this earlier, it would've made my creative journey much easier. Thank you tons!
I've been following you for quite some time.
Your style and your videos are inspiring for me.
Thanks for all your tips and tricks.
The best is: don't take too many pictures, don't look through the camera as much.
(you only see well with your heart, Antoine de Saint-Exupéri)
So I have more of my travels and am more relaxed on the way.
Warm greetings from Germany
I really love your videos. Thanks
Hi, I'm Sandy. I think I posted that original comment just around or a little before covid. I'm returning to this video now as I'm going on holiday and can finally implement these tips.
I won't lie, it is going to be hard to not film everything - or try to film textures like you do as I also enjoy your b roll and transition tutorial videos too. Basically I'm going to have to try really hard to stop myself filming three videos in one xD
What I meant by I can't stay in one place too long is that usually I end up only taking photos because when I'm in very touristy spots I feel like I need to keep moving along as to not block other people from moving/also taking photos.
If you see this, thank you again for making this video, and for giving us such great content for free! And thank you for not ignoring the ones of us who just want to level up their home videos a bit, I know we aren't really the target audience so it is much appreciated. I've also subbed to your new channel, thank you.
Thanks for sharing
Wow this is so helpful and informative, thank you!
Thank you so much this is very much helpful🙏👍
Thomas Thank you for this presentation. Those 3 little tips helped me get started with planning a current trip. The trip will be riding a Dinner Train, "Mystery". I have had the opportunity to ride the train a couple of time earlier, with friends. This trip will be with family. So I kind of have a idea of what to expect. But now I will be doing with a video camera.
Thanks 4 the advice sir, that I can apply on making my videos
Thank brother ❤
Hi Thomas! Happy to see your videos as usual, thanks for the email to remind me ;)
About a month ago I got back from a two weeks holiday in Hawaii, which was really cool and I'd like to get started with a video about it soon. As usual I filmed quite a bit, but as usual I haven't even started thinking about editing it yet. My hardest part with editing my travel videos is that 1) during the trip I never speak in front of the camera (although I did try it this time but it wasn't very organized, probably not sth I want to use), and also I'm myself not so much in the clips as I'm the one holding the camera, and 2) I can't get started because I don't know what music to edit to, and 3) I usually don't get enough people in the footage at all, as I usually always travel with the same partner, who happen to dislike being part of videos and any online presence (this person is also not interested in filming me...). What are your tips in this scenario?
Regarding music - Do you chose the song(s) before, and edit according to their beats, sounds, etc, or do you place a song on top of the clips after editing? Would you rather have one song across the whole video or mix depending on the mood in the videos? I've tried to look out for copy right free music etc but I can't seem to find anything good. It would be really cool if you could post maybe like top 10 songs/sounds to add to videos that you have found work really well.
Thank you!!
Thanks for the tips. Very helpful! :)
Hi Thomas, love the way you explain everything, breaking it down perfectly. I love the tips you share in your videos and i have been practicing them whenever I can. I was curious to know how would you click a night sky with stars showing the milky way , and what gear is necessary for a picture like that. Cheers 👍🏻

Hey man! I just learn so much from your videos, thank you! If you ever come to Portugal you have to take one of my tours! If you can, check out my channel for content about portugal, I'm still pretty small but I'll get there eventually!
What is your frame rate?
I think he uses 50p/60p
Right click on the video and then click ”stats for nerds” and you’ll see the the framerate used in this video :)
David Lindgren89 I meant what is he filming in in the video. His camera settings.
I have Said....50p he has filmed
Second tip is very important. Film people, and yourself. Because nobody wants to watch hour long video about empty places. On my trips, I film myself like 70% of time, and I try to do about 5min video of one day. And important thing is to talk, say something about that place where are you.
How to do Batter storytelling ✅
Que paso Tomy? Antes eras chévere....
First... Damn dude you need to start eating again. What's going on? Good video tho
