I've watched all your 800 days of vlogging for years and what I've learned is that there's so many unpredictable moments you've created without any force. The enjoyment of creating non-stop without any restrictions. It's not for everyone but it is a pioneer inspiration to open the gates of vlogging as a genre. Thanks Casey for opening that pioneer trend to video genre.

Casey I would never wish daily vlogging again upon you because I know how much it took from you at the end. I was so burned out and had no idea how to cope at the time, but your inspirational messages always picked me up every single time without fail. I appreciate you so much ❤
I love how Casey can produce a relative short video with a very clear story line. It baffles me every time how many different shots are composed in each video. All those fast shots give the sensation of a very fast moving movie, like an action scene. It really capures the attion of the viewer. Yet, the story has a slow moving pace. Very well balanced and put together! Glad to have you back Casey!

What did you end up doing? I’ve looked into daily vlogging too but it seems like people aren’t interested in that anymore unless you’re already big. Kills the motivation.
Casey makes it looks so easy, but such a TREMENDOUS amount of work goes into the camera placement and shots, that even those trying to imitate the style fall flat.
Casey is one of my inspirations for me filming every day of my life. I filmed the last 1000 days in some capacity (not in a vlog format) and I have 2 terrabytes of video. I do it just to remember, to document change, to make little films in between the chaos we call life. I found that living for the video is not the way to go. Life goes on, film is secondary to mental health and real-life relationships. But it's fun to be able to pull any day and say _that_ is where I was as a person and as a creative.

So helpful to see your take on this. Daily videos are tough and once you hit the 40’s you’re spot on. All the same experiences and questions happening right now.
I inhaled each and every Vlog and can say that it does not matter too much what exactly you deal with in the vlogs. I've always loved the ones where easy is just Casey talking about something he's dealing with at the moment. Being a new Skateboard or the fact that the bikelane isn't clearly marked. To sum up: Please do what you do best; conveying a super nice dude who loves his craft as an artist! Love
It was how you made it so non repetitive and managed to film and edit and release without fail. That was crazy man. I started 5 years ago and struggled with one a week with a full time job and family, kids.... its nuts man. I now post ad hoc and a lot less stressful. But a lot more difficult to coax enthusiasm, energy and direction to film on each occurance. Great to see you posting adhoc dude. Was well missed.
This video just shows that authenticity is more important than the best camera, stabilization, lights, etc. Casey is still Casey after 800 days of vlogging and he still gets the views!
I felt alone during pandemic, so I started listening your past daily vlogs and trying to catchup. I'm now not at ~690/800. This is freaking incredible what you have done. Thanks!
So glad you're back, Sir - and even gladder that you're approaching it in a more healthy, sustainable, mature way. How could you not though, really? All part of living a life and resisting the urge to not learn from it.
I like the balance that You, Van and Wranglerstar all have with regards to family... the kids are kept out for their privacy, and yet we know they exist, and that's enough context to tell stories.
Man I miss those days. I feel like I completely got to know you as a person; which is crazy because we live 3000 miles apart. I came to NYC in 2019 and did loads of cool things. But my favourite thing was walking down broadway trying to spot your studio. Which I eventually did! Thanks for the energy it took to make those videos, and thanks for the memories. I’ll be here for life. X
I want to buy a boosted board after watching these videos. And then realize they’re longer a company. I love seeing videos like these, Casey! I couldn’t imagine making a video every day for 800 days straight.
Exactly! I'd love to know exactly what those days were like from beginning to end, how he managed and scheduled and used his time, how he was able to live such a life AND film it all AND edit it ... EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can't even begin to fathom how there's enough time!
I suspect you can get faster with more practice like with anything. You can also organize the way you record the content with a plan for your story. That can cut down on the time it takes to organize after. For me the longest part has been music selection. I feel like I need to put on the music catalog all day to sample it so I know what could be good with a video. But matching the right music to the moment is hard because it will make or break the video.
Hey Matt, I’m the completely opposite!! I realized my vlogs wouldn’t get done if I don’t shoot, edit and upload all from my iPhone. It’s working well so far… just finished my 30th. But that’s interesting how everyone has their workflow.
@@offwhitemke Totally get it, I am in the wine niche and I have to go through lots of interviews and chop down 10 minutes of one down into 60-90 seconds... and sometimes it's not in perfect English so I have to edit to make it clear... Music takes a long time for me too.
Those 800 days were one of my lowest points during my undergrad, all isolated in the hostel! One of the best things that I looked forward to was your daily Casey! It has left a mark on me, I have cherished NYC and wished for being there! You made it all possible, through your stories! You are different man, there is something about you, that we all have an emotional connect I guess! Glad to see you back in the city, love to see the city again, almost daily now! Thanks a ton CASEY!
As an editor/videographer I couldn’t imagine everyday for 800 days! It takes me weeks to accomplish my videos for DOD and I am spent after that. So a big kudos sir! I love your editing style and transitions thank you for being you!
I’m so glad you are back in the city bro - I love that you are sharing it all with us - whatever u touch turns to hold and we are just along for the ride !!!
You freaking saint. Thank you for helping the dog. I agree, though, I would be in shambles if my dogs were in that situation. And I would be so unbelievably thankful for people like you and those who helped. But also, thank you for the excellent video around the heroic rescue!
I remember when I accidentally discovered one of your yt vid in the march 2020-just when the pandemic started. Imagine how amazing it was to just soak in all of your content then!! So glad you’re back in NY. Sending hugs!🫶🏼
After watching your channel for YEARS, I still haven't really decided why exactly your content is so compelling. But it truly is! Keep it coming Casey.
Glad youre taking the time to enjoy both time with the family and working. The daily vlogs were so much fun but my god i can only imagine the grind. I was happy to hear I have at least 3 more years to figure it out lol. Little by little every day. And WELCOME back to NY
That hits pretty deep, actually. And it's a dilemma a lot of youtubers run into I imagine. How much of your life is your life, and how much of it is "hey, i'll do this for youtube...". I think you're taking a pretty healthy approach to it- and for better or worse, you can look back on your channel and see your growth, which is pretty cool! And something a lot of folks don't have. As someone who has memory issues, i've forgotten a lot of my experiences and memories, and it's so frustrating when people go "hey, do you remember....?" and I don't! Or to have a family member pass away and not be able to remember my time with them.
I can't believe 5 years have passed since you stopped daily vlogs! I repeated that moment for several times to make sure I heard it right. Because I remember those times of everyday watching your videos as it was yesterday! I've changed myself a lot since then. And your videos were a great inspiration for me. The longer I live the more I am mesmerized with a thing: ALL THE GREAT THINGS WERE BUILT WITH THE HANDS OF SIMPLE MEN YOU CAN MEET ON THE STREET. Because since my childhood I thought that it's someone of great powers and wisdom has made everything. No. Right the opposite. It's just PERSISTENCE and EXPERIENCE make people great. As simple as that. Have a great day, the one who read it till the end! ;)
Great video man. I can fully see what you’re saying. People also have no clue about how many times you think about the “right shot”. And how many times you need to go back for your camera and redo the same shot, in order to make it look so cool!
That's a lot of uploading, Casey, I'm impressed! I just landed in NYC for the week. Maybe I'll see you flying around the streets when I'm here. Keep up the awesome work!
Dog rescuers will tell us to not chase loose dogs. It only makes them run further from their home and to stress them out. Report sitings and sit quietly with treats is the way. Sometimes they have to get cages to trap them. Glad this story had a happy ending. I respect your thought process about the UA-cam vlogs. Your videos are interesting. I grew up on the east coast but would not return after living in Oregon. It’s always nice to have a comfort home.
Energy is palpable during this new NYC run, as a huge fan from back in the day, and now too, couldn't be more excited to have you back enjoying the city and youtube.
I was watching Casey's videos LONG before the vlogs. I remember how happy I was when he decided to vlog. I remember being sad when he decided to quit, though I understood it. Every time he uploads though, it's always the same level of happiness again. I know I'm in for five to ten minutes of pure perspective. Casey's videos have always been special.
And that trajectory of those 800 videos is how you broke through so the world can see your amazing content. There is a plethora of awesome content creators on UA-cam, that's lost under the bottom of the grand iceberg of the algorithm that no one sees until they consistently make videos without stopping and eventually break through.
I found you many years ago and I remember when your snow storm video went viral and I was so excited for you. I was randomly reminded of you and I came to rewatch vlogs because I still don’t know how you kept up. This was such an awesome video to come across.
All your vlogs are insane and have inspired me to start vlogging myself. The process has been fun and one day I’ll be able to look back at my own channels growth ❤
I think what you are doing now it's the perfect balance of what people loved of the vlogs and what you can do without being absent of your private life. Thanks for being here
📌 Nice video, love how you take your time to educate your viewers. as we learn we also need to earn . I created the mindset to invest my savings now I have made profits over $120k Right now and still making more , I am enjoying a good life with what I made investing. Indeed ‚building a Portfolio income (investing) through a licensed investment adviser is one out of many ways to earn passive income.

It’s very cathartic for me to see Casey back in NY videos. I encourage anyone to explore and live life, but Casey in the studio and back in NYC just feels right.
When I started doing 3-5 videos a week my brain did exactly that. Could this be part of the video?? Ended up losing a ten year relationship because I wasn’t in the present. Learned it the hard way. Balance is key.
I thought about this a lot while you were doing your vlogs, and it reminded me of something a teacher told me during an art class: just draw the best you can, your style will emerge naturally. As it relates to your vlog: you become the subject matter of your art in almost a naturalistic kind of way - I don't think it's exploitative - but I'm also not the subject :D
I remember your daily vlogs being one of the highlights of the day. Coming home from school every day and watching your videos. Thank you for that time Casey
It seems to me that it is important how you talk, and not about what. Casey knows how to make an incredibly interesting story out of the most ordinary case!
When it comes to investment, diversification is key. That is why I have my interests set on key sectors based on performance and projected growth. They range from the EV sector, renewable energy, Tech, and Health.
Hard time all around the Crypto market especially with the collapse of BTC, yet I still acquire $27,000 every 14 days from my investment with a platform in town.
Pure Casey! He does an introspective vlog telling us he’s not going to do introspective videos. That’s one of the reasons I love him so much. That, and the fact that he uses the smallest vacuum attachment to clean his studio. ;)
Curious what Candice's view of daily vlogging was. Must have been hard on privacy and family life. Huge admiration to Casey for all the hard work and creativity!
Man I wish I had u to mentor me in real life lol. I've learned so much from you tho I fell off for a bit and just now coming back to it after almost a year I'm fixing to cross the 1k mark and I definitely owe thanks to u because alot of the videos I made I drew inspiration from u ofc not anywhere near as great lol. Thank you Casey 😊
He's like a guy that lives inside youtube. Just telling his story, enjoying or hating it, but living it everyday. And i'm so used to it, that i don't even imagine youtube without Casey anymore.
I wish you guys can show me as much love as you show this Channel! I know I’m not as good as him but I still make entertaining videos and with your help 1 day we will get there together 🫶🏼🌟Thanks!!
Truly appreciate the whole video. The whole thing was awesome content! You did exactly what you summed up in the end. Less introspective more observation. I appreciate it! I've been inspired!
Daily vlogging is the opposite of a fraud. It's the only way to show the world what your life is really like. If someone posts just a picture every week or 1 video every week, then you don't know what their life is actually like.

I like the balance that You, Van and Wranglerstar all have with regards to family... the kids are kept out for their privacy, and yet we know they exist, and that's enough context to tell stories.
Watching you i realized that i want to be a filmmaker. No where close to being one but will be working on it till i get there.
Did you become a filmmaker?
Those 800 days were some of the best years of my life tbh. It just changed my perspective in life so much.
Same!! I looked forward to the vlog every day!
I can’t believe i’ve watched all of those 800 days of insane uploading.. 800 days! Enjoyed every day of it too! Thank you Casey 🙏
This is film making. Different angles, music, and shots that had to be planned and thought out. Thanks for the inspiration.
I still have NO IDEA how you did it. When I do the highest quality VLOGs possible (for me), it takes me a month to edit one. So much RESPECT
Exactly! I'd love to know exactly what those days were like from beginning to end, how he managed and scheduled and used his time, how he was able to live such a life AND film it all AND edit it ... EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can't even begin to fathom how there's enough time!
Does Casey take the help of editors?

I love your editing style and transitions thank you for being you!

the crazy thing is no matter how often you upload, it is always that same quality video we love!
800 days requires a HUGE amount of commitment. You honed your skills and now you can do it better than almost anyone, and at your own pace.
Casey, Your honesty is what makes great this yt channel!
the dog was a paid actor fr
Have a great day, the one who read it till the end! ;)
I could not believe it either… mindblown! 🤯
Glad you're moving onto the next thing. A true artist ALWAYS evolves in search of the new. Good on you man!
Casey you actually make my day when you upload, the aliveness i feel when watching is hard to describe, but thats why we're all here :)
watching your vlogs has been a masterclass in editing, story structure, and how to seamlessly transition through the video, love it.
Congratulations 🎉🎉 you have been selected among my shortlisted winners..👆👆👆 Telegram to claim your prize 🎁🎁🎁
I hope you get to see him!
I agree 800 uploads in 800 days in incredible!
Love watching you Casey. You are such a fresh breath of air. 🇮🇱🤍
HOW YOU DID IT will always baffle me but it is absolutely amazing. Your quality and resiliency to get through it is unmatched
Magic experience. Thx, bro!

No magic in trading having a strategy that ensures profit is the best you can do and that’s not for novice, lost over $17k trading with bad strategy but with the help of an expert Harry Martins I have recovered losses and even made more. The crypto markets is the future and many doesn't know about it , so sad

It’s very cathartic for me to see Casey back in NY videos. I encourage anyone to explore and live life, but Casey in the studio and back in NYC just feels right.
Casey is the real SUPERMAN of UA-cam! Two thumbs up from Kingsport, Tennessee!
I think I'd have lost my mind trying to do 800 days of vlogging in a row... It's been so long I forgot just how many you did! Crazy!
You inspire so much, to be creative in our own way. Thank you! God Bless!
Love your stuff Casey!
I'm confused especially in this current situation that's affecting the market, how could y'all earn that?
currently earning $15,000 a week. God bless Pamela and his platforms, she has been a blessing to my family.
You know, one thing about this platform (Pamela K Weaver) is her profits are secure,d and over a💯 return on investments
Trading with an expert is the best strategy for both beginners and investors who have little time or no time to monitor their trade
I can not stand more 1 week without your fucking amazing videos 😅
I also love casys video
Man I wish I had u to mentor me in real life lol. I've learned so much from you tho I fell off for a bit and just now coming back to it after almost a year I'm fixing to cross the 1k mark and I definitely owe thanks to u because alot of the videos I made I drew inspiration from u ofc not anywhere near as great lol. Thank you Casey 😊
Congratulations 🎉🎉 you have been selected among my shortlisted winners..👆👆 Telegram to claim your prize 🎁🎁🎁
Man, this hits so much, I think about filming everything I do, and it kind of really takes away from being present.
Props for sticking with it like that, that 800 days have me alot of enjoyment. Thank you
He's like a guy that lives inside youtube. Just telling his story, enjoying or hating it, but living it everyday. And i'm so used to it, that i don't even imagine youtube without Casey anymore.
Where are you Caseyy!!!. I want to watch your perfect videos.
First !!!
I wish you guys can show me as much love as you show this Channel! I know I’m not as good as him but I still make entertaining videos and with your help 1 day we will get there together 🫶🏼🌟Thanks!!
You’re Actually first btw
Truly appreciate the whole video. The whole thing was awesome content! You did exactly what you summed up in the end. Less introspective more observation. I appreciate it! I've been inspired!
I remember watching Casey in middle school almost around 10 years ago and here I am a vlogger myself. Your an inspiration Casey. Much Respect ✊🏾
I have started vlogging after watching casey
Same here . I just started . Am from asia . Bangladesh
Last line Casey " it feels great"
The world : " we feel great to be living in an era to witness a living legend"
This man could talk about anything and I would listen avidly and every time he goes into that studio it brings me joy. That’s weird.
I love it when NY creates stories for Caseys videos ie. lost dog!

Daily vlogging is the opposite of a fraud. It's the only way to show the world what your life is really like. If someone posts just a picture every week or 1 video every week, then you don't know what their life is actually like.
I love it! Thank you Casey for explaining it so well 🙏🙏
I loved the daily vlogs. Crazy to think it was 800 straight. Your videos are always very well done. Glad that dog got back to their owner safely.
hehe, I'm 41 too, great insights, Casey! Thanks for sharing! Best wishes!
It's good to have you back on YT Casey, upload whatever feels good, we enjoy every minute of the new stuff!
🎉 🎉🎉🎁🎁🎁🎆🎆🎆once again!!Thanks for watching 🤗
And commenting send a direct message right away 🆙
You have just won a gift 🎁
Thank you Casey for the inspiration
