    Great tips, i'll try this idea on my upcoming solo travel. I'm more on motovlogging but i'll give it a try creating a travel vlog.

    Great tips and inspiration video. Can't wait to make my first vacation video. What size memory card would you recommend for a 2 min video shot in 4k? I'll be using a Hero5

      Thanks Erica! I normally transfer my footage to my computer after each day to keep it safe and make room on the SD card. If you're able to do that id suggest a 64GB card which will be plenty of room. If not it might be worth getting a 128gb card.

    How do you transfer GoPro footage to Mac or iPad to edit and put in hard drive

      Sounds like you might need some step by step guidance. I suggest looking at my full GoPro filming and editing course that walks you through all of this. You can preview it here: movesmedia.thinkific.com/courses/gopro-masterclass-how-to-film-and-edit-gopro-videos?GPvacationvideo&FLgoprocourse

    Now I try to use videos from HERO11, iMovie always hang up during playing or exporting videos from HERO11 on Macbook(Mac OS12.6). Do you have any information about this?

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  2 роки тому +1

      It's probably your computer/ graphics card. You might want to film in lower resolutions and frame rates to put less strain on your computer. If it's still lagging you may need a computer upgrade or graphics card upgrade. Hope that helps!

    Hi. Brilliant video.
    How do you get the music to add? Is that free music or do you pay for it?

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  Рік тому

      Hey Johnny, I use copyright free music. There are libraries you can choose from and you pay a monthly subscription. Here is the one I use: artlist.io/Blaise-366613 . You can use other songs as well but if you don't have the rights to use them you can't monetize your videos. Hope that helps!

    Should I use Linear or Wide mode?

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  Рік тому +1

      Depends on the situation! Linear looks more cinematic and "normal." Wide is great when you're close to the action. Hope that helps!

    shoot in 60fps, and edit in what??

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  Місяць тому

      @@JohnDoe-ew3xt 24 or 30fps. That allows you to slow the footage down and have smooth slow motion.

      @@Movesmedia thanks so much for your reply.
      I guess my question is more, does playing 60p in a 24p timeline play ok?
      into drones for a couple of years, just got a pocket camera a few months ago, and my first action camera like 4 weeks ago. going to the florida keys in a week! looking forward to putting some actual "travel videos" together..
      but I'm still experimenting with the actual cinematography/videography and editing... while I do get the fps stuff...
      ------do I have to worry about changing the frame rate all the time, because I "may" want to slow this or that down, but then change it back to 24 for normal speed...? or will it all play fine in 24p, shot at 60? (especially trying to keep the shutter speeds close to 180..)-----?
      PS - I do love your channel / advice and "philosophy" of what you're doing. second only to "Ted Nemeth". look his channel up if you don't know of him!
      PSS - beautiful family! good for you... 😃
