Thanks for the demo. I'm also a disabled dj so I know the difficulties you have with DJ-ing. You can be having a really shitty day but once you get on the decks everything's OK, just the best feeling in the world...
Was just looking into the stems feature as I'm on Rekordbox. Was refreshing to see a DJ that's in ministry. Quite rare to find people that are open about their faith in the industry we're in. You've got yourself a new subscriber from the States. Keep it up brother, and may God bless you.
A very good DJ, and friend of mine, from the Netherlands, started experimenting buying tracks in stem format and mixing with them. It was fun for about an hour.
when I used to buy tracks in stems format (for Traktor), the thing I found frustrating was that sometimes the stems drums were different to the original! One time, a breakbeat was changed to a 4 to the floor beat!
@@DunkForbes That is a bit cheeky ! I can see why the tech to do it is available, it makes things so easy to remix on the fly, but really, if a DJ can't EQ out enough of one track to do a decent remix, then it's not worth faffing around with in my opinion. Each to their own though, and it's good the technology is available to those who want to use it.
Hi so I dj at sweet-sixteen tonight and I took risk of using the beta and I must say I’m impress it’s more stable than the current version 2.6, and my laptop is not that new is a mid 2015 MacBook pro, I basically dj the entire night, six hours to be exact and no problems, the only thing I notice is the waveforms look different they look almost the same as virtual dj so that got me thinking???could it be😮
Dont let a disability stop u from jammin out!!! I to have health issues and a good time on the tables makes u escape 4 alittle... Good luck keep on spinning!!!

Where can we purchase your Tracks? My community are filled with music lover of all genres.. We are mostly saved people but we also enjoy mainstream music 🎶
if you've really been wanting to get a chevette for 2 years, and now it comes with echo out feature that makes it better to drive - then I'd say, 'feel free to get excited' 😉
It’s true, but I would say the majority of club DJs will use either record box or Serato, most likely with Pioneer hardware, so this is a big announcement. I don’t remember much about Virtual DJ, but I bought a license for DJay because of this (and because of Spotify integration!)
Yes indeed and I'd been tempted to try out Virtual DJ to get Stems, but there's some limitations to using Virtual DJ on the Rev 7, so I didn't bother. Does Virtual DJ have the echo out feature on the stems buttons?
even XTraxx stems whic h is a paid software doesn't sound perfectly so it wil prolly take years to make it sound real good in real time ... still dope for live mashups tho
I can hear some distortion tho, even through the Audio compression of youtube. Or am I trippin'? Is it just me? Id love to convince myself still... Any other opinions?
possibly, but bear in mind the files are being played at pitch, and with the stems algorithm and then coming out of the phono outputs straight into the mic pre of my camera, and the being imported in FCP and then exported as a H.264 file, so there's a few places where the sound is getting degraded.
I did enjoy using stems in Traktor a few yeas ago, but it was obviously limited to which tracks artists had released in stems format. So for me personally, I prefer being able to create stems on the fly with any track in Serato. But then again, the audio quality of officially released stems for Traktor was way better.
I always ask this with u STEMS salespeople... Show us how the STEMS works with old school music... Ur playing a song with hardly any depth so drip some Gap Band, Roger Troutman, Kool & the Gang, Bee Gees, Blonde, The Cars, Wild Cherry, KC & the Sunshine Band or even some Rick Ashley! Watup???
I was in a club somewhere and said "the music is too damn loud!" Soon as I turned I saw a huge sign above the door and it said, "if the music is too loud it's because your too old to be in here!" I shut up fast and had a blast... I think! ;)
I find it funny that since mp3s took over, it's no problem having doubles, instrumentals & accapellas. Now "another" media is requiring us to buy all new equipment & $hit just to the same thing we "already" do with accapellas and instrumentals!
Thanks for the demo. I'm also a disabled dj so I know the difficulties you have with DJ-ing. You can be having a really shitty day but once you get on the decks everything's OK, just the best feeling in the world...
I know jut what you mean
Great video, it is good that there are materials like this, feeling part of the DJ community a little more thanks to this!
thanks so much!

Yes bro, I’m excited about Serato stems…..and unlike Djay Pro it’s going to be a free!!!….The only downside is it’s going to put weight onto the CPU
I was pleasantly surprised that it worked so well on my 2018 Mac mini.
Which controller are you using bruv?
Ok i'll try with vdj 20

Virtual DJ be having that for a year or so 😂

I know I'm late to the party , but what set up are you using brov?
Ddj Rev7, I did a review of it here ua-cam.com/video/D-NeC2j98_o/v-deo.html
I can hear some distortion tho, even through the Audio compression of youtube. Or am I trippin'? Is it just me? Id love to convince myself still... Any other opinions?
This feature is amazing for rapid Mashup prototyping tho, no matter what
I wonder how they did this, and what the limitations of stems are... Im rly fascinated

What’s your thoughts on stems on traktor vs serato

I appreciate the gospel music , I’m a DJ too where can I get some dance music Christian dj ?
I don't know, I'd be interested to know too.
Christian dance music?
the name of song 7.52 and following song? Download?
Hi, its "I'll Follow/I sing to you" and "Hear my cry" you can order the mp3s at www.urbanministries.org.uk/order.html
What laptop are you using cause when I use my rev 7 it’s echoing
I'm using a 2018 Mac mini with 32gb ram
What kind of mic are you using?
DPA Dfine mic
@@DunkForbes Awesome.
Very interesting. Am I the only one who criticizes the poor sound quality? You can never run something like that in a club.
is there a Christian DJ community you belong to i can join ?
I don’t know of one, but let me know if you find one.

The only thing DJ's are good at.. is playing music way too loud, destroying peoples hearing.
I was in a club somewhere and said "the music is too damn loud!" Soon as I turned I saw a huge sign above the door and it said, "if the music is too loud it's because your too old to be in here!" I shut up fast and had a blast... I think! ;)
I hate that word stems just say acapellas & instrumentals
Lol, what word would you use when it’s just the bass on its own, or just the
Drums on its own, or just the music?
