I have Pioneer DMP 555's that are 20 years old my first controller is over 12 years old and just bought a new controller last week......I know....crazy right......and basement full of vinyl. I guess its time to unload some stuff.....and I skipped some of it......let me not get started on speaker and cabinets. LOL
Old timers like you pioneered this to what it has become today - you say you feel stunned but I say you should feel a slight nod of pride cus if the OGs didnt do it the oldschool way, the kids nowadays wouldnt know what to emulate. Always honor those that came before one self 🙏

This feature is incredible. As someone who dj'ed with vinyl and had to buy 2 copies of a lot of records I find this amazing. This is limitless what you can do.
This is going to be so good for mixing. I dont know how many times ive wanted to mix 2 tracks together, because they sound so damn good together, but somewhere in the mix there are two vocal samples crashing into each other, and just scrapping the mix all together.

My lightskinned brother from another mother...you KILLED this. This is the essence of what being a DJ is. Most "DJs" now are just song curators. They don't add anything or even mix anything. You mixed 5 songs seamlessly to make the mix BETTER than one of the most iconic songs of all times.
@@machiventa858 I don't know. I did not have RX9 the last one I had was RX8. Stem isolation is the first step, but then there are a lot of other tools that clean up those stems. They're usually not completely clean but they're like 90% of the way there.

As an old 1980s guy accustomed to 2-in Scully machines and razor blades, snapping Polaroids of the analog board faders after each session, this new technology just blows me away. I never learned how to use any of this stuff, and hung up my Spurs decades ago.
The fact that this song can work so well with so many other songs separated by years is because 4/4 time is an indictment against conformity and popularity.

iZotope RX10 is probably the best option for isolating stems, but it's not immediate. Much better for home recording
