This is exciting, those pistons look gnarly!
Can't wait to see that thing run it is going to be awesome I would like to make 500hp with my 2003
Right on buddy! Can't wait to hear this thing roar
Looking to build a nasty set up myself, seeing you drop this video was sweet you explain everything well. Best of luck
Sounds like someone spent a lot of money. I'll look forward to hearing what a lot of money sounds like.
Love it man! I still hope to shake your hand one of these days
I miss my 6.0 so much
I can’t wait 🔥🔥
This is going to be one bad-ass engine
Awesome
Kill devil sells upgraded cam with the Johnson lifters. When doing a mild build Do you think the Johnson lifters are the way to go or just do OEM lifters with a stage 2 Cam? I have brand new 6.4 push rods as well
You should do a 6.7 lift pump video
KDD sells a combo that comes with pushrods and the johnson lifters so supposedly itll all work great togetger
Yep that’s how I bought them, KDD supplies the correct length needed. But you still need to verify lifter pre-load
Looks like you got a good setup going on.. what injectors and turbo are you going to pair all that gnarly parts with... keep up the good work love the 6.0 build
Are you doing the new KDD icon heads?
CNC Fabs machine shop……. It’s actually BER (Bryan engine rebuilding) just FYI 🤷🏻♂️
I am paying CNC Fab, they are representing the machine work and final product. So no actually it’s not BER……. Thanks for your comment!
@@LeftLaneDiesels they may be representing the machine work but I can promise you they aren’t doing it. When you take the engine ask to see their engine machining facility for your UA-cam channel.
@@greenstroker38 you make it sound like this is some hardcore secret and that Cnc fab should be ridiculed for using BER. I don’t understand the purpose of what you are saying…
I was at the new facility yesterday, spoke with Corey and Clay for a little over an hour. Took a tour and got to see alot of new machining equipment. Sounds like when my engine is done, we might be able to get a video together. They are a growing company, if at one point they worked closely with a machine shop, that’s ok. But for the purpose of the video, I said CNC FAB because that’s who I am paying and that’s who is representing the work.
@@greenstroker38 Bryan Engine Rebuilding no longer exists and the owner and I formed a new company called OH Motorsports LLC.
Bricky here. How much would it cost to convert a 1995 f350 crew cab long bed dually to 4x4? It sucks driving something so heavy that doesnt have 4x4
Siiiiiiiiiick!! ISO update on newer bigger badder louder prouder LLD STICKERS?!?!?
Should have my new updated logo by the end of this month and a large variety of sizes! I’m excited for it!
how would one stop exhaust blow? I can see and feel it coming out the oil filler tube.
Hey Left Lane, love what your doing as usual. Any chance of you talking torque converters with us, I'm stuck between Precision Industries, DPC, or Revmax looking to get either 1600 or 18oo stall. Also I went with Holders 175/30 injectors, a KC stage 2 Turb, Colt Cam stage 2, Mahle lifters and 0.20 Mahle Pistons and rings. And we went with Fel Pro gaskets, how do you feel about Fel Pro? O yeah we went with UCF remanufactured O ring heads. I hope I'm doing this right lol super scared hope everything gels together. Your channel is excellent, I remember the first video I seen of you, the one where you installed the exhaust system. Thanks for what you do!
Have you watched any of TooManyToys UA-cam videos?! Some real in depth technical evaluation of the 6.0L related to his engine failure. He is also on a lot of forums. You going to Dinosaur camp this fall in Ohio? Keep up the good work!
nice! i understand how guy's lower the compression so they can pull more timing. What is your ideal ratio on the 6.0? also ive accumulated shit ton of parts so im tryn to decide on best hpop setup guess im going use wavy rails but what pump? i know the iron pumps never fail but ive got 3 good early style and few cores should i flip them all as cores and just get late style? or just run a late 04 style setup? will either pump push 205/30s? i really dont wanna spend a grand on a pretty billet one
Are the late pumps pretty reliable? I’m building my 6.0 now and was debating replacing it just for piece of mind and because of the mileage on the truck. But if the consensus is they’re pretty strong I’ll probably hold off...
What turbo set up will you be running?
That's bad ass man. Can't wait to see the build finished and no doubt that you have done a ton of research and will be meticulous in your installs and sourcings and the truck will be a gorgeous monster. I've got a Canadian 07 Harley edition. Nothing fancy because it only has low miles at 140k and perfect interior but needs a lot of body work and just now got exhaust, sct tuning, egr "movement" and I'll drive it like that until it breaks and I save money. Hoping it holds out that way until I get more cash. People hate the 6.0 but it's the only one for me. @leftlanediesel
Have you run the numbers and measurements with the cams, lifters, and pistons etc for compression ratio, tolerances etc. Not trying to doubt you. Jus curious before I was to buy parts etc
Yes everything has been specd out for this build and the combination will work very well. As I described in the video, the only concern is the lifter pre-load/pushrod length. But I will be able to verify correct specs with the Marton pushrod tool.
So... I have an 03, what the cost of the parts you talked about? Thanks for all the info.
These parts cost anywhere from 7-10k. And only account for a short block build.

Better than porn. Very exciting.
Hey Left Lane Diesel, I have a 04 F350. It has the old pump, new oil rail style with the dummy and stand pipes. ICP is in the passenger valve cover. I’m getting fuel in my oil? I have resealed the injectors. And don’t know where the leak is coming from. Any tips that you could help me out with? I have done the trucks HPOP, Return Tube, ICP, FICM, GPs, IPR, Turbo, dummies and stand pipes. It will leak fuel to the point where it will create a no start after thinning the oil. Would i look at changing the injectors maybe a injectors body leak? It runs good just fills up with fuel in oil. Don’t want to be changing oil every couple days. Please give me any suggestions? Any cool test would help??? Thank you!
Damn the youtube money must be rolling in
Majority of the funds were created through the website. It’s been a bit overwhelming but I am forever grateful. And am looking to add more products to the website such as 6.0 pcm/tcm tuning packages along with FICM custom tuning. I also have a few one off LLD products in the works as well, made and created to improve the 6.0 powerstroke platform trucks.
@@LeftLaneDiesels I'm glad you are doing great buddy always love the videos and knowledge. Congrats on the company too just be careful there's alot going on the the environment agency that shall not be named. Some of my favorite YT channels have been hit by them. I'd love the up pipes for my 03 as you can imagine what kind of shape they are in but after 10 years of working I'm finally going back to school. To get my grade 10 lol jkjk that's a trailer park boys joke. Much love! ❤
@@LeftLaneDiesels whose tuning and ficm tuning?
Do you ever do much with the 6.7 power stroke
I have worked on a fair share of them and plan to own one someday to expand the channel
Great you are really good at it
What are the best head gaskets to use , I know you have a video on it , because I watch it. I don’t know how to navigate you tube or internet that good
I personally run Flepro but would also recommend mahle and oem
@@LeftLaneDiesels ok thanks a lot, haven’t seen you post anything, so I committed on your last one , I’m Subscribe so I know when you post , excited to see your next video
@@johnanderson2451 💪💪
I was watching your video on SCHAEFFERS oil, you said I didn’t have to use hotshot , that is my oil in everything now, thanks again
Do you torque O-ring heads any different?
Nope
One more quick question, are you brewing up a big surprise for everyone in the next video
Just a FYI Charles truck didn’t run these rods in his truck ever! At UCC his motor had wragler rods in it.
Really? I was under the impression that KDD had put the engine together for kc turbos testing the limits of these Callie rods. Non the less, these will be good for me at the 1000-1200 level
@@LeftLaneDiesels No sr, I was there and asked both Charlie and Jarred. I'm running these in my truck you should be fine.
Where you from Bro ?
Miiiiiiichigan! 💪💪
@@LeftLaneDiesels I'm going to travel from Miami to Michigan to leave my engine like yours 🤜🤛

No disrespect at all , I wish I was excited about building a 6.0 as you, but I do not like them, I had a 2003 , 2004, and now 2006 . Bought everyone of them new , the 03 , 04 in the shop all the time. I was going to buy the dodge , my sales guy said, they improved them, he didn’t lie It was in the shop half the time the 03 , 04 was. I didn’t over load it ever , but I pulled with it, finally a technician asked me what I did with it, and where I used it. He said no wonder , it can’t handle that kind of pulling. Montana is a pressure test for these trucks . People would asked me about, I said don’t get one if you pull in the mountains, if you want to pull a boat or RV , once in a while, they are great . You know what you are talking about on these engines and that is why I am here, thanks for sharing and keep the videos coming
No disrespect taken. It unfortunate that they have given you such a hard time. The 03-04 trucks can be less reliable overall especially the ones with the icp under the turbo. Your 06 however with all the Ford updates and proper head studs could be a pulling machine and IMO your most reliable truck you have owned. I can understand with your experiences why you would never go back but I thank you for sticking along and supporting the channel!
@@LeftLaneDiesels yes indeed I will be here as long as you are making videos, I still have the 06 , I have been doing small work with it, I have too much money in it to get rid of it. It my 3rd engine for it , counting the original one , bullet proof-the 2nd one , and got 60,000 miles out of it , no programmers, these things have great power, but not forever . I changed the oil and filters at least 30 times in the 60k , I did it so often, because I would pull with it. I used hotshot every other oil change, that stuff is expensive. I have to do head gaskets again, but it is last time, no more pulling, the truck is tough, it has a lot of life . Oh I also use POWER SERVICE. It is good, no injector problems
I used my 06 6.0 for hotshot trucking for a year and other than doing all the known major updates and routine maintenance, I was at or around 26,000 pounds almost daily.
@@brettbowman6179 yes I was around the same weight, I have had this conversation many times, do not take anything I say in disrespect. I tell people that these are midwestern or flat lander truck. The 6.0 has a lifespan of about 60,000 miles of hard pulling, pull 60,000 miles in the mountains, and see how long it last
I was all over the country. I'd say about 50% of the time in the mountains and the rest in major cities and highways with many trips in the PA area. I did around 120,000 miles loaded heavy. Now I'm building the same engine into a race truck.
Stop bitting your nails..are you 12? Lol
Can't hardly afford nail clippers when all your cash flow goes to the 6 oh. But yeah bitting nails is truly a disgusting habit. Have two friends (both 6.0 psd owners) that chew on their nails like it's the tastiest best thing they've ever tried. Makes me sick when they do it withe around...lol
Bought not built. Free parts.
😂😂why do you hate so much?? I’ve built a brand that allowed me to buy the parts, because I have such an awesome audience and following!!!! Which in turn allows me to keep creating videos!!! Yes I’m having a machine shop bore the engine over and balance the rotating assembly because I don’t have $100,000 in machine shop equipment!!!! But I am the one assembling the engine. You comment all the time on my videos and have nothing but negativity, take it somewhere else. Thank you
@@LeftLaneDiesels 😂😂😂 hell yah man
As the guy that's sold him a majority of his parts, that's right SOLD, I'm here to tell you nothing in this video was free. Can also attest that he works his ass off at his day job and his Left Lane Diesels business both positively contributing to the diesel truck industry.
