the 6.0 is an exceptionally plentiful motor and with the KDD heads plus studs you’ll get 500k miles on the motor and zero issues.

Going to build a block this summer with them 👍🏼 over build and use just the standard bully dog tunes and have a strong reliable engine for years.

Same here, love the CNC ported o ringed aluminum heads.. better flow, better swirl and way better strength mods 👌🏼 I’m building (top end only) another block for next winter (I run plow n sand on my 350 6.0) and I want something built to handle 550-650hp but only run it at 400-500hp and treat it nice 👍🏼 already have the egr deleted, external oil cooler and filter, and will t4 swap the turbo and will be relocating it down behind the transfer case mounted to the frame for way less heat soak and damage to everything and way more room to access everything else. 👌🏼 who knows, maybe I will build the bottom end too but money money money haha

Thankfully the 6.7 powerstroke is the most reliable out of all of them and the best lol. Yes the 7.3 powerstroke "international" is a beast of it's own. Just like the Cummins diesel though, Dodge didn't make those engines and still dont. They are made by Fiat and the Cummins company by theirself.

Depends on what power you’re trying to achieve. 450 horse turn key engine is gonna run just shy of 14k for just the engine itself, 650 horse engine is gonna be just shy of 20k.

I'm not doubting Jared's knowledge, but at this point why not just swap a gasser in there? You want more power in the top end, and reduce torque at the lower RPM's? That's called a gasoline engine.
Their cylinder head products are incredible tho.

Because of torque, there is more to these trucks than running them down your local dragstrip. Engines like these will go into trucks for diesel competitions, races and sled pulls.

There was alot of engineering flaws present on launch, however I we have worked out those old 6.0 issues from 2003. 6.0 is a very well rounded engine when up to date on the latest revisions from Ford motor company, support from our friends in the adtermarket and with a good tune can compare with newer diesel engines in light duty trucks.

No you dont. Find one that hasn't been neglected delete the EGR completely and give it some love. And you'll be good to go. I spent 10k on parts and 3500 for the installation . And I pretty much have a new truck. And I'm pushing 550hp. To the wheels . Can still tow max weight with a good tune and get somewhere close to 20mpg on the highway crew cab
