This was my favourite episode of all time hands down because of the REALNESS displayed in the end. That we can all appreciate God’s creation and do what we love in the outdoors. Thank you guys.
I held it together until you said your grandpa asked if you ever thought of him when you were out in the woods hunting.
My grandpa passed away 3 years ago and I was able to, and still hunt, on a big ranch in Texas for the past 24 years. Boy oh boy do I realize how blessed I am to be in such a beautiful place and to have learned from my grandpa along with seeing his excitement when I got my first buck. I will never forget him or the times we created together. Go visit your grandpa’s everyday!❤️
The end of this video hits home. Quoting Genesis. Remembering family. God is with this man. I love this channel.
That rattle in, river shot with the lever action was epic!
As soon as you broke down saying your grandpa asks if you think of him while you're out there put me in tears. And when you said hunting is an avenue to church.. man you nailed it. I got my first kill ever this year and completely changed my perspective on religion and God. That hit a little different for me brother.
OMG. Lol. Got me crying. What a passionate and meaningful episode. Thank you so much for letting him speak openly, honoring his Pops, and praising the Lord.
Dear Lord, if what KC and Tyler did at the end of this episode doesn't embody the exact feelings and nature of hunting with your long-time buddies and parents, I don't know what does. It's a harvest of provision and memories each time. What a great experience!
This is the best episode of MeatEater I have seen, and I've seen them all. I have had this exact moment. You can't help but get emotional when you think about the connection of a father and a son, especially the connection to the good Father.
Had a great time!
You my friend are one funny S.O.B if your even in British Columbia Canada I'll take you out for big ass mule deers
You always do bro! I'll admit, it was great, but woulda been better if I'd had some hostess donettes to eat!
@@TheElementWildnext time😂
Never knew you hunted, cool to see another creator hunt.
You my friend are one funny S.O.B if your ever going to be in British Columbia Canada come mule deer hunting
Damn buddy's got me crying at work. I lost my grampa two years ago next month. I think about him during every hunt. God bless you and your family brother.
Grandpas are just irreplaceable man.
Mines been gone 25 years. I still think about him, especially in the woods.
Read your comment before the end of the video came, still wasn't prepared. Damn onions
That last scene. Whew, buddy! When your grandpa asked if you ever think about him when you're out doing this stuff really hit home. I lost mine when I was 10, but I thank God that he impressed hunting and fishing on me even at a young age. It's been 31 years and I still think about my grandpa everyday.
"Grandaddys Gun". Aaron Lewis.... give it a listen brother. Thank you for sharing your testimony and not being ashamed of the word and of Christ. May your life be a spoken and walked ministry to a suffering world. God bless. And thank you
KC and Tyler are the most wholesome, and real hunting duo. Love those guys. Can't get enough. What a moving episode. God Bless you boys!
This is one of my favorite videos! I love the content the Element crew produces. As a whitetail hunter this is the most relatable Meateater content. They produce high quality videos that make you feel like they are bringing you along for the hunt. I enjoy watching western hunts but this is the content that keeps me coming back. Thank you for sharing!
God bless you, your family, and the memories you share.
Thank you for using your platform to share THE truth with us!
Guys Ive watched the element before you guys became part of the meateater universe, but what a great addition you guys make. Steve and those guys bring a raw aspect to hunting videos, and a great deal of knowledge about trapping, tracking, and other things bot usually on a hinting show. But the realness and conviction you guys bring when you glorify God is whats missing from alot of channels and shows. In my opinion those kind of testimonies are what makes the element team so amazing, the hunt is just a bonus! Thanks
That was incredible. Praise God! I lost my daddy, who was my best friend and hunting partner in 2018, and I thank God for the memories we made together in the woods. He is on my mind on every hunt, and I have been in tears several times sitting in his stands and taking bucks that would make him so proud. I loved this episode. Thanks guys.
@@falconsfan1970 Thanks for the kind words! Sorry to hear about your dad.
Great hunt, You boys got me cryin at the end. My dad will be 62 here in a few months. I got him out with me hunting this year after not hunting for 12 or so. We had a blast. My granddad is 87 and fighting cancer. I think about that man everyday. Especially in the woods. Watching him get into stuff rabbit dogs wouldn’t wanna go through just to get us in a good spot or get some deer out of their beds and moving. Two hero’s of any boys life should be their dad and grandpa. Good luck on your next hunt.
This was an amazing episode of the Element! I’m sitting here bawling my eyes out right along with y’all!
Best episode I’ve seen in a while. Got my great grandpas rifle in the safe. Gonna hafta get it done with that.
Love you guys! I have some great memories of hunting with my Grandad and my Dad. Now I've had some guns and knives of my Grandad's passed down to me. They mean a lot to me. Now I'm trying to pass down this love for hunting and the outdoors to my sons. Family, hunting, tradition and legacy. It's a special thing.
I lost my father in 2021 and inherited his 30-30 which was the only rifle he killed a deer with. This video gives me the strength and motivation to go do the same and honor him. THANK YOU and congrats on a beautiful buck.
When the gentleman started to have a moment about his grandfather was an awesome unscripted moment. It made me tear up. Way to go guys. I really enjoyed this episode!
@@robdenman268 thanks Rob!
It's one of the best hunting videos ever. This is what it is about. Thanks, gentlemen!
Gah dang! That final message was a turn to this video I didn’t expect! What a powerful message and what a great job dad and pop did with everything they instilled!
I love and respect his emotions regarding his father/grandfather and what they taught him about hunting and loving the Lord.
Hunting has ALWAYS been about more than harvesting an animal.
Thank you for sharing this story of TRUTH. ❤💪🇺🇲
@@charlietaplin9697 Thanks for the support Charlie!
Praise GOD! Thank you for blessing us with this video.
One of the best hunting videos I’ve ever seen.
Yo JP!! GO ASTROS. We’re ready for some more JP on the mound this year
Desperately waiting for a “WHY are you UP” or a “OOokay”😂
OK😂
@ 🤯 this is one of the best moments of my life, love your content man!
I know what you are feeling I'm the same bro thanks to our Dad and papa
Thanks guys!!
I poured my eyes out taking pictures of K.C. at the end of this video. -Tyler
Brother, I lost the only "grandfather" I ever knew (a great uncle) 3 years ago. He stopped hunting when my biological granddad (his hunting buddy) died way before I was born. But he always wanted to know how my hunting was going. I think about him every day and how proud he'd be of my boys that are now out there doing it and making their own stories. Crying right along with you.
God is good men! Proud of you guys!
Can't get enough of the Element guys! I love following along on their hunts. Their content makes it feel like you are right there with them.
@@FloridaNative1 💪🏽💪🏽Thanks!
Just awesome. Thanks guys!!
Love it! Great hunt, greater story. Love how you honored your grandpa. I wouldn't be where I am without my PawPaw.
What an ending, and what a sweet idea. Hoping I can still ask grandpa to bring one of his old rifles out this fall. I could use his luck out there
Sitting here processing my buck fighting back the tears fellas. I aint got a faith, but seeing you two do what you do and how with the respect and perspective is a beautiful thing. Keep it up.
Last segment was beautiful

Great video fellas.
Last little segment will hit you straight in the feels. Good stuff Element boys!
@@tannergarrison8352 Thanks Tanner!
That was so cool guys. “Want me to go rattle back here” are you kidding me? Nice buck. He wanted some of that fight. Love the hunt and the tie into the scriptures. Family. Good stuff man.
@@TimDuncan-pi2in Thanks Tim!
First deer had ground shrinkage, and the second deer had ground growth, nice buck!
Really enjoyed this whole crew and this trip!
The more I watch you guys the more I love you two young men thank you for giving thanks to our lord Jesus christ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 love the videos I'm 67 and me and my husband still hunt in ca thank you for sharing you take us places we will probably never go. GOD BLESS
That was one of the coolest videos of a deer coming in and getting taken by a hunter I have seen. The bounding into a regal pose mid river would make anyone love these animals. You boys must have done several things special to earn that moment. And bloody good job by the cameraman to catch it all so perfectly, with the zoom in at the right time and everything. You couldn't script it that well. Congratulations, somebody definitely loves you lot.
JP!!!!!! Go Stros
What a great testimony!
the genuine hart at the end made this one amazing same reason i wanna hunt it to honor my father
sitting in a box blind over a feeder with a rifle is not traditional hunting but a good experience for beginners to develop a passion for hunting. Loved the spot and stalk rattling experience on the ground. Great job on the intimacy aspect of belief in God, family, and hunting in the great outdoors.
Im here from Instagram, very funny and entertaining bois🖤🦌🏹
Good stuff guys that hits home.
God is Good, we all need Jesus in our life, awesome hunt and video
Another cracking video meat eater. The the last part. Dam

Wasn’t expecting the tears(not yours but mine), great hunt.
God bless you guys! This is a great video and better story.
Good Stuff fellas and what a hell of a choice of words at the end. Got me in my feels

Love the meat eater stuff but definitely miss the ole buck truck days. Congrats on a stud Texas deer.
Just be thankful you still have them in your life. I luckily still have my dad but both of my grandfathers have passed at this point.
JP is the man! Go Stros!!!!
Great dude too!
Love this
This is the second time that I’ve seen first lite unapologetically share their hunters faith in a deep and genuine way about the Lord. I love this brand.
Great video!!
I’m not crying 😭😭😭
Great episode. Reminds me to be thankful for the size and quality of deer I have in my home state of Ohio.
Come on up to the Adirondack Mountains in New York it's a totally different type of hunting deer up here and in my opinion a lot more fun!
19:45 Man, what a picture moment on a great buck.
Never thought I would see the funny cat video guy on meat eater/ the element. Not on the 2025 bingo card 🤣
I was summoned here from Lee mc nastys live stream
Hope JP recovers soon looking forward to seeing him on the mound this season

Thank you guys, this was a great show. I am learning sow much from you guys, I have yet to take my first deer 🦌 but I’m following y’all’s every foot steps. I lost my grandpa back in 2015 this brought me to tears.
