i really, really like this game, even it is bare bones. But I raidedthat one map like 17 times and I always want more for some reason. I am hooked and I really hope they can bring a steady flow of content and updates, given that there are only 5 people or so working on this. It is what I wanted and needed. Playing a game like Tarkov without cheaters, anxiety and stress. This is a wonderful tactical game that I can play on my terms and my speed and don't get sweated by some a-holes. I really hope they can bring more and expand on it! :-)
Depends if the dev team is dedicated. Road to Vostok is only one person and he's already released pubic demo v2 that has more content then this game currently has.
@@pinkyizthebrain2397 not to mention the dev of Road to Vostok is using godot, which has way less capability in its engine as say unreal or unity. mad impressive
I picked the game up to support the development because it does appeal to me. Despite primarily focusing on pvp games, I would like a good offline extraction shooter for various reasons. They may not be able to pull it off but they also just might. Worst case I lose 16$
As a truck driver who is constantly in places with no internet or even phone service, this is the game I’ve been looking for. Seems to run fine on my steam deck.
I have almost 15 hours already. Loving the flow of the game and can’t wait for more content and immersion. Would love to see lore and trader faction stories.
at this point a mgsv/ splintercell type story and mechanics but with a extraction/ armored core loop is the perfect summation of what i think at least single player games like this need.
with the new bundle... for tarkov... you can do offline mode with all the quests and your progression stays and there is no pvp. straight pve. but you either have to pay $250 for the whole game or to upgrade from EOD you have to pay $100
I hope to see more pve and solo oriented games. I'm so sick of the extraction trend of screwing over solo players, its hard to get people to not only get on at the same time to play games but to even get the same game in the first place.
I wanted to like Tarkov, i really did but the PvP was just so annoying. It felt like if i didn't commit every second i had for gaming to Tarkov i would never progress. It basically had to become a full time job, where as with this game i can actually play it pretty relaxed and just have fun with my friends. Im really getting tired of this new trend in gaming to be "ultra realistic" and sacrificing fun in the process. This game right now feels like its going to do a good job of balancing fun with realism
Played this demo since it was called project quarantine. Just bought it and played for a little bit, and it's still really clunky. Needs a bit of rework, tons of glitches, etc. Now I know this is an alpha game, but the demo has been around for a bit and guns disappearing, quest spots not appearing etc weren't in the demo. Something broke when they upscaled the map. The MP5 also has ridiculous recoil now. IRL, the MP5 is one of the softest shooting guns one can use. Don't get me wrong, not hating, because the potential is 100% there. Just is a game you should wait before buying.
Really good stuff. I was praying day and night for a pve tarkov and finally having one even at a very early stage is great. People who complain about certain things that are normal for such stage are insane and probably have not ever seen the early days of tarkov.
Only reason I hate PVP is the amount of cheaters has sky rocketed. Every single lobby in every single game probably has a cheater, its so dumb. I am on US servers which are very bad, Ive heard Asia and Russian servers are bad in most games. PVE is just more fun now because of that
I dunno man. I feel like the creation of asset stores in both Unreal and Unity are really fucking up the creative muscles in games. Playing anything with shared assets of something else I'm playing is starting to show extensively. This is all not a good thing.
Have you updated your graphics drivers and restarted your pc? I had really bad pop ins the first time I played but the second time I played it was absolutely fine
@@tmm321 It was the second time I had played it. Up-to-date on everything. Tarkov works better than it ever has for me and that is saying a lot! lol May need to mess with the graphics settings manually. Might just be some setting that doesn't play well with my system. I have had issues in the past with Arma and pop-ins with certain settings. Might just be trial and error and testing. My CPU seemed high though. I have an i7-7700hq, for my CPU and a GTX1070, for my GPU.
All this game needs is zero SBMM and it would already be better then call of duty. Sweating every match isn’t enjoyable no matter how good movement or content is
Sir, this is a PvE solo / co-op extraction shooter with no PvP matchmaking we're talking about in this one, let's take a day off of the SBMM comments lol
Can't blame the dude, Activision screwed up big time with SBMM/EOMM and only cares about selling Skin Bundles rather than fixing their game. No wonder people are trying to find somethin better to play with than Modern Cod
Haha I think the game is already in a better state than COD. COD is so Fd. I have run everything I can run updates on on my top of the line PC, run multiple file integrity checks, etc and the game is either crashing on start up or in the middle of the first one or 2 matches. Play any other game no problem. I think I had one crash in this game after hours upon hours of playing running everything on ultra @ 4k (new Alienware 4k 240 Oled)
maybe on 1080p or 720p with low-med settings... Also depends on the rest of your system and what you consider playable ofc The game is still in VERY early access and is not optimized well
Personally I'm way more interested in a PvE only Tarkov than XDefiant. I honestly don't understand why people are foaming at the mouth so bad for the game, it wasn't even that great.
A lot of these game devs really should have just made Roblox games before going into full game dev, because a lot of these "indie" shooters don't look any better than good roblox games and those are free
Extraction Shooters has been a dead genre for MANY YEARS! Takrov is the ONLY game I know that passed the test of time, let's see if Red River (and Arc Raiders) will bring something new to the genre!
One crucial point that as missed in this video is that the game offers mod support. People already started making mods for the game.
Yeah man that's a huge plus point
@@bloodleshen1989 Mind Boggling Huge Plus Point!

Hey if you love a good offline extraction shooter... check out tarkov and their $250 version "unhinged" lol. yes thats the real price.
I’m glad I’m seeing some people covering this title. I didn’t know about it until last week. Great job as always Espresso!

This actually has me hooked already, looks pretty good.
I’m on day two of playing this. Nice balance of combat and looting/extraction.looking forward to what the future holds for it
All what we need is a H.L.L 2 with a cold war setup
That would be to good
The title of this video is truly genius and one of a kind.
This & grayzone will probably arrive before xdefiant
Xdefiant gonna last 3 months bro, the game will not survive against mw3 nevermind treyarchs cod
Lol😂
Keep up the amazing content brother. Way to broaden your horizons!

Enjoying the game so far
I bought today and i love ut. I like to play solo and this game its inmersive. Thanks

Might as well play Operation flashpoint dragon rising. It has squad gameplay as well

Yeah its unfortunate how developers cant even release half of a game these days. Regardless, im still gonna play the hell out of it 😊

Is this game sort of like arena breakout (phone game) ? It looks like it, but havent played it yet.

So Tarkov with offline but not $250 and not dogshit? Hell yeah.
Platform or platforms???
