PR is S tier, it still beats Squad in some ways (pacing, variety, quality of SLs, proper Insurgency mode). Also, Zero Hour PvP slaps, and at least deserves to be on the list.
don't disagree that PR is a fantastic game, had some amazing moments in it, but I still find myself hopping into squad more and it's partially to do with the server locations. Also I did have a draft script for zero hour done but I scrapped it because it was crap and I just didn't know what to write about it without sounding repetitive

Squad 44 having such a low player count is a travesty. It's a phenomenal game. But the canteen is definitely one of the dumbest mechanics I've ever seen in a game.
I agree that it isn't the best, but now having started to play Squad, I miss my canteen. Having to stop and rest constantly is annoying. At least with the cocaine water, I can keep moving for a somewhat extended period of time.
when it comes to beyond the wire, i feel the exact same way. I hold really fond memories of the game despite its numerous flaws. It is a big shame that it died out :(
Arma 3 should be in the F tier just for how garbage their mod system is for servers and the way BIKEYS work. and the fact you need 160gb of mods to make it playable.
Ayy nice to see another video from you Tantwo! :) Also could you perhaps make another Military Conflict Vietnam video ? They made some updates adding stuff like the ANZAC forces (well as player models and cosmetics, plus fitting voice lines) and their appropiate weapons (L1A1 SLR, L2A2, Browning Hi-Power, Sterling, Owen gun, F1 SMG, etc.)
Nobody talks in Hell Let Loose because the developers can't fix the mic glitch. I haven't been able to talk in game for months now. It would be one of my fav games (since it has great gameplay) but not being able to communicate makes it unplayable
Arma is not S tier, it's literally running around for hours, to spot some people, you take aim, you miss, and they run away. I don't see how that is S tier. To me that is F tier.

SWAT 3 with Last Resort compatibility mod (makes the game run flawlessly on modern PCs basically) is still my favorite SWAT game today. RoN also has SWAT like lore-related AI difficulty system but I agree, suspects are generally way more aggressive in RoN as if they are all super soldiers trained to take you down. RoN's AI is way more advanced in that suspects try to flank you and stuff (which is very cool) yeah but damn, a street thug literally bunny hopping around and landing every shot with a pistol while actively flanking you is insane
After 600 hours in squad I tried project reality, the community sucks. The game is toxic and there is no space for newcomers. The gameplay was clearly outdated by pretty fun as I also grew up with battlefield 2 when I was a kid. Squad goes hard and is much better in every way. When you hop onto project reality it feels like you are playing with people stuck in 2012. My experience was complete shit. So i just continued playing squad and after 1200 hours it is still my absolute go to game, incredibly fun, engaging and a good thriving community. The only thing I think I miss from project reality is the shear amount of faction variaty. But even then squad has plently of factions to have fun for a long time and is always adding more. But its te community that keeps me there.
Ocea violation lmao. We wear ear protection in training but it’s a liability in a war zone. Gotta be able to hear stuff. Just gotta accept the hearing loss unfortunately. Btw the weapons give a tinnitus effect and do sound kind of muffled to exposed ears. 6 days actually has some pretty realistic sounding weapons. The only game that comes just as close is ready or not and squad to an extent.
The frustrating thing is that the devs didn't even deserve to get canned. RS2, Rising Storm/RO2 were all successes, obviously not pushing COD numbers, but still. And then anti-matter gets canned because of budget cuts. Intensely frustrating, especially since there was and will be nothing else like it.
I spent hundreds of hours playing HLL when it wasn’t fully released and man the communication was amazing, i had so many matches play off with real strategy because every SL commanded its squads according to the plans laid out in command chat.. As a tarkov fan the game on the bottom is really fitting, its one of the best tactical games ever made but it isnt fun at all and official release is the end of 2025 this december/January we will have last patch/wipe before release.
Tarkov in F tier is 100% subscribe worthy ! As a 3.5k player I absolutely think its shit. Filled with cheaters, filled with rats which unironically is one of the funniest ways to play.. buggy as hell, grindy as hell... when you get good and play the game like CoD you will be the best at pvp which defeats the entire purpose of a tactical game. I actually enjoyed EfT, granted, I did approach it with the attitude of "if I die oh well, get a new kit and go again." It also helps that I have a good group of friends that enjoy playing the game together. The gunplay was fun and the fights were that good kind of stressful. I miss the weapon customization as well. We were all really excited when BSG rolled out the armor plates and modeled the actual armor hitboxes instead of the vests just giving full coverage all over. Sad what happened with it, but that's the way it goes. Hope I find something to scratch that itch soon.

About HLL - comunication problem is 100% EU thing. Since I switched to US servers with my friends - yeah, the shooting skill lacks but daaaaaamn americans LOVE to talk and roleplay. They will almost ALWAYS play along any bullshit you say, they will role play top notch (especially medics). You will always have a garry to spawn unlike EU. This is something I also noticed in Squad as well to be honest - yeah, europeans will make those crackshots across half the map but once you knock him out - he will give up 99% of the time and respawn at that one single FOB another half of the map away. I would move Squad and HLL to A to be honest - Squad is not THAT good and HLL is not THAT bad. Squad 44 should go to B simply cuz 5-6 servers at prime time is NOT "uwu, game not dead, bro, trust me bro". About Tarkov - as somebody with 1.5K hours in it - it's S tier for the first 50-100, then it falls all the way to F - Nikita allows cheating, no optimization, Nikita also donates money to ru army to kill ukranians, close friends with terrorist group Team715 etc. The more you dig into Tarkov - the more it looks like a heavily modded Stalker without Zone and with asshole dev team
Played Beyond the Wire through all the different stages. the devs wrangled the game 3 times, catering more and more to casuals. leaving the more milsim fans behind. what really pissed me off was that beyond a 100 meters your Gewher 98 was no longer a one shot kill in the chest area. if it was a more advanced hit box system like rising storm 2 i could see that happen rarely in real life. bascily the devs ruined and dragged beyond the wire to it's death, the core game idea was better than the other ww1 games. the bots was the final nail in the coffin
The thing that buggers me in SQUAD the most is the way the soldier handles their weapons. Its like they are on a range just chilling with the boys...NOT IN A FUCKIN WAR. C'moon, Steve. Speed it up
That has to be one of the biggest ones. I havent played the game in ages for that very reason. You are a semi pro but still handle them like a first timer on a range. Im not asking CoD speed but realistic professionalism. When the shit hits the fan the speed goes double time
I had more intense situations in SPT with mods than in official and the game overall felt more interesting. Also there was a sense of relief knowing some cheater is not watching you all the time.
I used to LOVE Hell Let Loose.. until they sold out and ruined the game. Also I grew up on the original Operation Flashpoint with my dad. God, I miss that game. When I was in middle school I used to play in a clan called Symphony of Destruction. SoD, super fun times. My guy born in 2001, which was around the time I was playing Operation Flashpoint on my dad's PC.. At least kid is lucky he gets to play video games for another 10-20 years longer than I will.
Im veteran HLL player and i agree with all that you said but somehow this game is more addicting to me than for example squad 44 and i still have hope that team17 continue to learn how to make new meaningful content...
2:55 personally i like it better when there are no tickets because the death alone in Hll is frustrating enough, to also lose a ticket would probably just make the game worse(and more toxic) and would ruin the immersion in my opinion .The idea behind Hll is to be a bit more on the arcade side while still beeing immersive(which does it very good ) and casual.
Was hopeful for 83, but think we will never see it. The RO/RS series was something dear to me - going back to Ostfront, but with a tiny bit of Combined Arms before that. Sold the community that helped them grow out IMO. PS was OK in early release, but very rough and unfinished. Left, came back, and then dealing a really toxic community there. With maps that were still rough and unfinished. So haven't really been back. Might have a look again sometime. HLL was OK as well in early release - but rough and unfinished, so walked away. Came back, and it is what I play most now. Haven't done Squad - though am intrigued because Nanisivik is a map - had an uncle that worked there when it was still a mining community.
Definitely not Rising Storm 2's campaign mode, it's probably the worst way to play rising storm 2. Not very well thought out, poorly implemented, the playerbase cannot handle losing or gaming the campaign mode's mechanics themselves and end up rage quitting or just team stacking. It was a formality to port over from RO2/RS1 but they didn't think about how it would effect the game's asymmetry and map design balance. If there was a surpemacy only campaign mode it would honestly probably work a lot better, but not with TE maps only. Map rotation or map voting is a much better way to play rising storm 2.
Darkest hour 44-45 is bassicaly RO1 but with western front and eastern front as well and man that game is the best realistic shooter and still alive today almost after 20 years. RS2 is also great.

SLORGS betray PR !
Never forget
But yep .. SQUAD is S top tier experience in Tactical shooter half casual, half milsim but very bad optimisation and ICO feaures x)

I love how the ones with the best gun play and least amount of arcade features are B rank, and the most arcade ones are S rank.
Pretty much the better the gunplay, the lower its rank.
Star wars fan here, the good guys are the empire...
From the Insurgency series we also got the spinoff Day Of Infamy which was/is my favourite multiplayer game ever, tons of fun!
Beyond the wire has saturday 1:30pm est events. I only got to play once though, but it was pretty fun.
would be awesome but that's 3:30am for me :(
@@Tantwo Yeah I gave up on trying to make it to the event and reinstalled isonzo instead
when it comes to beyond the wire, i feel the exact same way. I hold really fond memories of the game despite its numerous flaws. It is a big shame that it died out :(
Arma 3 should be in the F tier just for how garbage their mod system is for servers and the way BIKEYS work. and the fact you need 160gb of mods to make it playable.
3:25 , the il-2 music tugged at my heart
Ayy nice to see another video from you Tantwo! :)
Also could you perhaps make another Military Conflict Vietnam video ? They made some updates adding stuff like the ANZAC forces (well as player models and cosmetics, plus fitting voice lines) and their appropiate weapons (L1A1 SLR, L2A2, Browning Hi-Power, Sterling, Owen gun, F1 SMG, etc.)
thanks man feels good to be back, and I'll be sure to check it out and see if I can cook something up for it. Glad to see it's still in development
Babe wake up, new tantwo video
I have returned from long service leave
Good video as always mate. Shame about 'Beyond The Wire', played it a bit and it seemed to be a good game (with a few flaws). Wish it got more recognition.
Very interest in '84', would love to hear an update about it.
thanks man, I thought there would be more players when they introduced the bots but at least it's there if you feel nostalgic and won't to actually shoot at something
Im 100% sure i met you 1000 times in RS2 servers so its nice to find out you got a yt channel
100 hours in Arma are not much, I am at 5000 hours and there are many with over 10000 hours…
I loved Beyond the Wire. I love WW1 and Squad/Squad 44 so I was super excited for it. I played the shit out of it when it was active and I also have nostalgia for it now.

@@johannes26_02 oh no, it IS okey, i like the game in general.
I still an expert on the game and masterise the parties well, and continu to adapt myself Update after update since 2016 !
Adaptation Still the Key since 2016. But each year player base grow UP and teaching to the New comer was difficult for all veteran. The skill gap change a lot, players too (New generation gamer), and the game a lot (game design rules^^).
It is Normal to move on or adapthemself; i saw many many many friends move on too and meat a lot new players.
Having too many exprience is difficult in this game who change many time.
One of the tips for veteran is to take a break before be to bored or disgusted 🙂. The break is usefull for everyone of course, it is fundamental in SQUAD.
Fly safe and have fun

Not sure if this is the first video of yours or not but i enjoyed it. Happy to see EFT is on the bottom. I clicked to see if Arena Breakout Infinite (better EFT that's free) would be on this list or not so maybe you haven't tried it yet. Well if you haven't S1 comes out on Nov 20th and I recommend trying it then with the new weapons and maps and possibly making a video on your thoughts, maybe even comparing it to EFT in the video. Have a good one!
The fact you put Ground Branch in D of all places is insane to me
After 600 hours in squad I tried project reality, the community sucks.
I’ve never known Aussies also took part in the Vietnam war until I played Rising storm 2 Vietnam,so this has educational purposes for me!
RS2 is the Grandpa that didn't do a 401k and depends on social security. So much potential for a casual hardcore shooter and they blew it.
Yeah, RO2/RS and RS2 are by far the most fun I've had in multiplayer military shooters. A shame really.

It went to shit when team17 bought it and fucked shit up (let’s not forget the fucking cosmetics) anyway man great video
As a tarkov fan the game on the bottom is really fitting, its one of the best tactical games ever made but it isnt fun at all and official release is the end of 2025 this december/January we will have last patch/wipe before release.
So what happens after the "last wipe"?
@@temba92Release and classic every 5 month patch/wipe
I really love the RS2V soundtrack my favorites are morphine drip and all the alternate versions its just so good
Tarkov in F tier is 100% subscribe worthy ! SPtarkov on the other hand ? With AI mods ? PEAK
yeah it mostly comes down to me hating extraction shooters except Gray Zone Warfare, I enjoyed SPTarkov cause it was much more relaxed without any sweats

Its still being developed right?
@@danielkantor5693 "developed" is a strong word. Antimatter no longer exists as an entity. All that's left is a couple guys from antimatter, they have no formal publisher or even a developer studio.
Which of these tactical shooters yall recommend for steam deck? Very few work because of silly anti-cheat and Insurgency just broke with the most recent update and it hasn't been fixed in weeks by now.
Any idea if there is a way to get RS2 working on steam deck?
I actually enjoyed EfT, granted, I did approach it with the attitude of "if I die oh well, get a new kit and go again." It also helps that I have a good group of friends that enjoy playing the game together. The gunplay was fun and the fights were that good kind of stressful. I miss the weapon customization as well. We were all really excited when BSG rolled out the armor plates and modeled the actual armor hitboxes instead of the vests just giving full coverage all over. Sad what happened with it, but that's the way it goes. Hope I find something to scratch that itch soon.
For those of you who were true GAYMERS, I will remind you of Day of Infamy which was basically Insurgency but set in WW2. It was absolutely awesome
19:27 dont even remember answering that and didnt know ive ever watched u before. But hello its me!
Squad being S tear is accurate. I’ve struggled to find another game that has topped squad. For me it’s up there with prime battlefield for me.
Ive spent nearly 3K hours on arma 3 almost all of it playing as an ODST from halo 10/10 would recommend

+Rep for mentioning Project Reality
You can get AI mods for Ready or Not that make the likes of casual criminals surrender more but retain the aggressiveness for the ex military bodyguards//school shooters/terrorists etc
Ready or not is a story with a game attached to it. The games trying to get you to think about mental health the very real issues in society and how the goverment can so terribly respond to it
I used to play Beyond the Wire extensively, sad to see that the player base is practically dead
Welcome back GI Tantwo
feels good to be back
I enjoyed beyond the wire too but the devs released it too early and everyone got bored by np content release
Objectively, many of these games are VERY terrible from a technical standpoint. but I have to admit, they’re sorta fun for the most part.
The fact that Heroes and Generals wasn’t mentioned is a crime
I've been saying it for years, RS2 is the perfect balance between arcade and realism! It's just perfect. The game is 95% off right now and the player count is healthy again! I'm gonna re-download it. Thanks for reminding me about it
P.S. I NEED THAT '83 VIDEO NOW
You arer back BRO - Thanks God :)
felt weird not uploading once ever week or two tbh I always feared people would forget about me lmao
Arma being in S tier swat and RoN in A tier, tarkov getting fat bottom tier, i suddenly like you more :P
More seriously though, when was the last time you played ron? I played it months ago and then again played campaign recently and it feels like a different game, feels more like SWAT 4 than it did before
glad I could make an impression XD, the last time I played it properly was when the DLC got released, glad the AI has been toned down
I'll never understand how people are mad at Squad adding monetization via skins to further fund development. It's such a minor thing to add that makes ensures free patches and content drops
Rising storm two is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I actually jumped on last night first time in a long time. I heard they fixed the voip and had heard some people chatting.
18:08 poor timmy just wanted to get his first task done
19:15 oh no! watching you struggle with the bleed mechanic brings me back to when i first started playing. always bring a heavy bleed a light bleed and a health item. esmarch, aceptic bandage, a12 (cheese) kit
Rs2 will forever have a special place in my heart ❤
Played Beyond the Wire through all the different stages. the devs wrangled the game 3 times, catering more and more to casuals. leaving the more milsim fans behind. what really pissed me off was that beyond a 100 meters your Gewher 98 was no longer a one shot kill in the chest area. if it was a more advanced hit box system like rising storm 2 i could see that happen rarely in real life.
bascily the devs ruined and dragged beyond the wire to it's death, the core game idea was better than the other ww1 games. the bots was the final nail in the coffin
15:43 nah you right in every sense
Your Squad wishes may be granted. They announced they're moving over to UE5
The thing that buggers me in SQUAD the most is the way the soldier handles their weapons. Its like they are on a range just chilling with the boys...NOT IN A FUCKIN WAR. C'moon, Steve. Speed it up
oh yeah the rocket equip animation drives me nuts, I'm a twig irl but I reckon I could do it faster with some practice
That has to be one of the biggest ones. I havent played the game in ages for that very reason. You are a semi pro but still handle them like a first timer on a range. Im not asking CoD speed but realistic professionalism. When the shit hits the fan the speed goes double time

Single player Tarkov is pretty fun, removes all the hackers and can actually play the game.
I had more intense situations in SPT with mods than in official and the game overall felt more interesting. Also there was a sense of relief knowing some cheater is not watching you all the time.
should’ve included tarkov arena imo, offers the fun gunplay aspect of tarkov without the pain and suffering of tarkov
Sunny maps in PR are always better than darker maps but Falkies is special.
The arma 3 campaign is peak and I'll die on this hill
2:55 personally i like it better when there are no tickets because the death alone in Hll is frustrating enough, to also lose a ticket would probably just make the game worse(and more toxic) and would ruin the immersion in my opinion
.The idea behind Hll is to be a bit more on the arcade side while still beeing immersive(which does it very good ) and casual.
Haven't done Squad - though am intrigued because Nanisivik is a map - had an uncle that worked there when it was still a mining community.
i think the weapons in tarkov feel better than in the other games and it looks and runs also better than unmodded squad, arma or ready or not
runs is debatable
I need more games exactly like RS2 Campaign mode.
@@queuedjar4578 Supremacy is dead AF on RS2. There is only Campaign mode.

Bonus to Hell Let Loose for being available on consoles as well
I thought this said FUNNIEST, and disagreed thinking that Tarkov is pretty funny. But I'd also agree that Reforger is funnier.
unfortunately "funnest" isn't a word but I just went with it anyways lmao
Darkest hour 44-45 is bassicaly RO1 but with western front and eastern front as well and man that game is the best realistic shooter and still alive today almost after 20 years. RS2 is also great.
God I wish 83' would have the same balance of gore, realism and arcade as RS2.
