My Son told me about Red Light Therapy. He swears by it and recommended that I should try it and I did. My first visit was Awesome. I didn’t feel anything different right away but hours later I noticed how I wasn’t in any pain that night.. I slept like a baby and woke up with more energy. I’m going back tomorrow to do another session. I think this is what my body needs. Thank you Son ❤

Frick, dude. I like the way you do things... perhaps a bit too much.
Since watching your videos I've bought: * a sauna suit (love it for strength workouts, I rest 2-3 minutes between sets and it keeps me warm), * an elevation training mask (GAME-CHANGER, has helped bring down my mile time from 6:30 to less than 5:45 and counting) * a e-bike (different one than yours, super fun, helps on the uphills a lot!), and * Red Light Therapy Lamp (just finished putting in my cc info. I'm excited to see if it helps with a few minor but persistent injuries from BJJ).

I have no need of an elevated training mask as I have a deviated septum and get so little oxygen that at times I hallucinate and have to go to hospital. If I ever get my nose fixed it'll be like I was wearing one of those masks / living at a high elevation all my life.

@@mbm_23sepI can't give you an advice, but I did buy myself the book from Ari Whiten (2018, Red light therapy) where he goes through what is important to look for (what power etc) for the device to be effective, and he lists some devices that he prefers. I am expecting that after I read the book I'll be able to select the device.
(You may get an efficient device for a couple of hundred $, whereas there are also tons of devices on the market that cost thousands and are inefficient).

I experience a lot of pain, when I exercise, due to an autoimmune disease. Exercise beefs up the immune system and mine is isn't so careful about which cells it should destroy. So I use my red and near-infrared pad after exercising and I'm good to go, despite exercising. The pad has increased my hair growth and has made hair, badly damaged by radiation, stronger so that it no longer breaks off close to the scalp. I can also see new growth in the area that was bald from the radiation.

ok so an npr article I read about 10 years ago said that red light therapy was mimicking early and late night light exposure. This implies that if you get regular light or blue light expiration afterwards you should be able to do 2 small sessions of red light a day. You also may be able to get stronger effects if you increase the amount of chlorophyll and beta carotein or turmeric in your system (look up light exposure and Coq production). Another interesting red light example is weed, of all things. Exposure to red light makes them grow thicker, but blue light makes them grow taller. I don't know what this means for people.

I'm building a red light bed with 4 of the smaller lamps shown in your video. This way we can lay down and do one side then the other.
I've had chronic hand stiffness and pain my whole life. When I use the light I can feel a tingling sensation in my hands as if there is some type of nerve regeneration taking place. I have an old knee injury that seems to have improved but it has before even without the red light so who knows. When I use it on my head, it feels like I'm wearing a hat. The waves are definitely getting in there. I was one that suggested you test your hormones. I will do it when I get more consistent using the light but I've also implemented other things, so it may be difficult to know if changes are from the red light.
My wife feels like her stomach has become flatter, perhaps do to reduce inflammation. We still need more time to explore the benefits.
As a side note: I can now hang from a bar for 150 seconds. I'm hoping to hit 3 minutes soon. When I do I'll make a short video on my technique. The red light may be helping here, too.

I even stopped losing hair and saw my muscle definition a lot sooner. I stop doing it for few weeks and can tell my workouts were lot harder so I want start going again but it kind expensive. By pain you mean soreness? It does improve circulation so it prob acted like a massage of sorts and sped up transport of nutrients for muscle repair?
Thats cool though, i’ve heard of green or yellow light therapy to be used for muscle soreness but not red. But it makes sense red can have the same effect.
Try the red light therapy directly on your face too with an led light therapy mask it will make your face more soft dewey feeling by stimulating more collagen production, and act against and lessen wrinkles more and more!

I have Two red light machines. Bought a year ago. I use 3x a week one average
A small portable one and a médium one for the body.
    Things I noticed
    1) when I first began I did it every day. I got sick. Think I went overboard and my immune system went HAM.
    2) has definitely helped when I’ve had inflamed muscles
    3) my hair is definitely shedding less but I don’t know whether that is a coincidence as my overall health improved due to medication. (I use on my scalp)
4)my abs are much more visible at the same body weight.

The infrared does help with melatonin and your circadian rhythm. Getting up in the morning and walking in the sun even in the winter when you’re wearing clothes helps. The IR radiation will penetrate your clothes. In the evening and shutting off TVs and computers and smart phones that emit blue light which will stimulate your brain and keep you awake longer a natural infrared light is calming but it’s most effective in the morning is that when you’re going to produce the melatonin and went down on a regular basis it sets your circadian rhythm which kind of regulates your melatonin which helps with a regular sleep schedule and the quality of your sleep. I’ve been doing this all summer with sunlight not the IR lighting and now that it’s getting really cold in his sub freezing temperatures every morning I find it helpful just to work out in front of some open windows. Doctors use IR or laser therapy with infrared spectrum to treat inflammation. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and I’ve done the IR laser therapy and it work but I find the sun works better and part of the melatonin also is affected by UV light so getting sun would be preferable to using the lights but in the dead of winter that’s not always an option.
I don’t think you can really measure many of the effects short term. The IR waves go through skin and clothes so what they do is stimulate like a healthy inflammation would which is why it can reduce inflammation because the IR is basically doing it so your body doesn’t have to.
Yeah you are does penetrate clothing so if you decide to use the sun suggest still leaving your clothes on so your neighbors don’t freak out😅

im a proponent of chromotherapy myself, especially when i was working at planet fitness, and chromotherapy is what thats also called. How you practice it here is how its typically done. I have a led therapy mask myself, so i mainly just use it on my face. (it just fell off my bed as im typing this lol) but yeah i have noticed myself that especially when concentrated on the face, it really works to improve collagen production and make the face feel more dewy, brings skin elasticity and tightness back, and keeping wrinkles at bay in the face. After seeing this, I may need to try it full body too along with the mask to get even more benefit. Thanks for sharing and making the video!

If you’re trying to work on deeper pain or injuries, you gotta do both the red and NIR. Red on its own doesn’t penetrate deep enough to really make a big impact in the deeper tissues. I mostly use LED light therapy for skin issues in my practice (esthetician) but i have had clients with knee issues like osteoarthritis, torn meniscus and other inflammatory issues and they get a significant reduction in pain and even much faster healing time and better results post knee replacement surgery.
