Great video as always TheCurse I think for my playstyle I'll initially go for option 3. I dislike having to channel FOCUS by standing still in the middle of a battle, with the danger of dying that comes with it. For the same reason, I don't like the ARCANE ASCENDANCE skill either, but I guess it will only be necessary against bosses and that the damage increase justifies its use. It also seems that option #3 is less intensive in terms of button pressing, so I'll definitely start this way. Good luck with this cycle!!
Since you don't need the offhand crit in the glacier build you might get more damage out of a gate staff. Very high base damage and some extra more damage from sorcerer passive. Can get a lot of extra mana spent gained as ward as well which is better with the higher mana cost. You do lose out on some res and other stats from the catalyst (unfortunately a decent bit of int&mana, plus the catalyst passive which is pretty good), but the tradeoff is probably worth it.
never played harbinger of stars belt, so i have no idea is it true or not. but i suspect that "Selfcast" meteors may proc this belt, but "Proc" meteors from belt wont proc itself. It would be strange if "Meteor item", won't work with pure meteor build where player uses only one offensive skill(Meteor). But maybe Curse just misspoke
Awesome video man, I was certain that I would try meteor this time around because D4 meteor is a wet meatball, but now you have me considering Disintegrate.
Harbinger of Stars says "does not include crits from Meteor itself" so am I reading it wrong or can Meteor crits not proc additional Meteors or does it mean the crit procced meteors can't trigger more so no infinite meteors chains?
He said in live that the damage to mana instead of health was kinda useless since you want to tank everything with ward. In case you have no ward left you have bigger problems !
Thx man, as a new player i'm hyped. I will go with the 5th build, but i'm not sure what stat i want to be perfect on all the unique item (i will go MG). Could you show us that on the planner somehow?

do you have any builds for Prismatist ?, a build that can hit 1k+ corruption comfortably
Could you mix two builds together here for another wacky 6th build? Thinking the meteor build and using Glacier to generate mana and proc harbinger? Would that work or would you risk getting 0 mana from harbinger and being unable to cast glacier to generate mana? Also, getting intrusive thoughts of "Why not just use mana strike instead of glacier as your mana generator for harbinger?" so I guess I invalidated my own suggestion already. 🤣
:D Harbinger is such a mana drain, especially if we make meteor even more expensive! This is the build I'm most uncertain about because of the mana sustain and the AOE overlap issue.
Great ideas as always! Curse, what do you think of the static orb build with gate staff and using lightning blast with the node to refund 95% of its manacost (with the new passive)? Also, how do you plan mana sustaining with frost claw, especially if you have lots of castspeed? That would require popping focus too often, thus negating castpeed.
For frost claw, that's why I'm trying to build up a large mana pool. Having a massive mana pool makes it easier to manage, especially with the tiny extra mana regen we get from the max mana --> mana regen passive. For static orb 95% refund, I really like the concept. I just hate losing 6% flat crit offhand but the rings might make it viable. Definitely worth exploring tho!
@@TheCurseBG Full crit is definetely worth going for with good gear, but you might consider non-crit version for intermediate gear. Given the colossal hit of the static orb and gate staff boost, crit might be not so neccessary
there's talents that allow scaling from mana (in Disintegrate tree for example). So basically more mana = more dps. Also mana lets us cast procs from disinitegrate (which still cost mana).
It was pre-patch so it was not possible to do that :) I will post an updated video with more details and finetuning for each build when I'm ready. That one will certainly include gameplay now that patch is out :D
When will you streamers learn that the gameplay is shown first and then when I see that the build is good, I will make it to the end of the video. When I see you just talking, I've had enough
1. People who are good at the game can tell if builds will be good or not with just the patch notes, especially in a game like this where character stats is much more important than player skill. 2. There's been a closed testing going on for a while now and some streamers are included. Don't know if curse is there but the people in testing have a better idea on what will be good. 3. People gotta make a living and like it or not, this kind of video gets views. People who don't have the capacity to make their own builds will suck up to guides.
Every build specs into Arcane Ascendance? Disappointing. That skill roots you to the ground and creates a stop and go play style which is very irritating.
Great video as always TheCurse

Yea I'm starting with Glacier as well :D I agree it's the best starting option!
I will be referring to this and the mana stacking guide from Allie thanks ❤

4:16 1 thing I have to point -> Harbringer of Stars does not proc meteors from meteors crit
never played harbinger of stars belt, so i have no idea is it true or not. but i suspect that "Selfcast" meteors may proc this belt, but "Proc" meteors from belt wont proc itself.

Pretty sure active cast meteor should proc additional meteors. Worst case we can spec into the spark charges passive and get more crit procs.
Appreciate your videos and will be trying mana stacker for 1.1! Will you release loot filter for the end game builds as well?
Awesome video man, I was certain that I would try meteor this time around because D4 meteor is a wet meatball, but now you have me considering Disintegrate.

@thecurseBG Any chance for a updated version of your Warlock?
What about the new helm ; Seed of Ekkidrasil - it looks like something very useful in mana stacking builds ?
Idk if source is known but from what I've seen it's still unknown. Anyone taking bets it's off Aberoth?
He said in live that the damage to mana instead of health was kinda useless since you want to tank everything with ward. In case you have no ward left you have bigger problems !
We're aiming to have very high ward so the plan is to never expose our health making the item low value for us :( I want it to be good tho
which of these would you recommend for hardcore?
Thx man, as a new player i'm hyped. I will go with the 5th build, but i'm not sure what stat i want to be perfect on all the unique item (i will go MG). Could you show us that on the planner somehow?
do you have any builds for Prismatist ?, a build that can hit 1k+ corruption comfortably
i dont understand why we take blood of the exile on the frost claw build
Great MS, Int, and Str :) Int is amazing for fragment of the enigma
Could you mix two builds together here for another wacky 6th build? Thinking the meteor build and using Glacier to generate mana and proc harbinger? Would that work or would you risk getting 0 mana from harbinger and being unable to cast glacier to generate mana?

For 1st build, do you think we can spec Teleport rather than Arcane Ascendance to get more cooldown on teleport and free skill usage?
You could ya. I have focus specced into traversal so you might have to take that point out.
Dont think that teleport with Unexpected Copy gives teleport, the minion tag. Have phantom grip equiped and didnt get + level
That's too bad, sounds like a bug! Thanks for checking :)

Also, how do you plan mana sustaining with frost claw, especially if you have lots of castspeed? That would require popping focus too often, thus negating castpeed.
For mono you have 26 mana regen, 4 mana back average per cast and 8 mana refund per cast.
@@john_sn0w that is less that 1 cast per second. No castspeed needed.

Do you think something could be done with the Celestial Doom Staff that adds up to 500 Max Mana ?
Maybe... I want it to work but staves are a bit clunky. Some flat crit would be nice on staves
Great video, I had a similar idea for glacier I hope works out okay :)
Should be solid :D Worst case we pivot nbd
What is your opinion on Glacier vs Spark Charge Sorcerer?
Both should be great end game options for Sorc in 1.1!
why do you have cast speed in passive for a channeling skill? build 2
I need to test whether arcane momentum procs on passive casts, otherwise we might need to move them!
Your mana has reached 1500 Still, why don't you change your build to Static Of?
great stuff! I would also love to vid on how to level a sorc, I have no idea.
Just finished it! :D
one noob question is here : if we dont spend mana with Disintegrate why we investing to mana ?
there's talents that allow scaling from mana (in Disintegrate tree for example). So basically more mana = more dps. Also mana lets us cast procs from disinitegrate (which still cost mana).
Can I make valid build with meteor and Disintegrate (or 500/ 1k corruption) ?
Hmmm how do you see the two working together?
Any builds using new 2H Mace "Event Horizon"?
I might try it later on in the season
TELL ME WHAT TO PLAY!
SORC!
Fuck I was thinking about this kind of builds and the streamers recording videos... Hahahahha😂
could show the build in action :/

You can't really show gameplay for the patch that isn't live yet...
How can he show gameplay for a cycle that hasn't released yet? It's called theorycrafting for a reason.
So he should magically create 1.1 patch that doesnt exist on live yet?
@@horriblemuck8917mechanics haven’t changed, gameplay can be show just fine in the current patch.
Every build specs into Arcane Ascendance? Disappointing. That skill roots you to the ground and creates a stop and go play style which is very irritating.
Did y ever play one build with with the skill ? Like its a boss/giga rare dmg boost skill y will not use it every pack
AA is just for boss fights so you can totally swap it out for something else :D
most stupid builder in last week, mage without blink? mage without +meteors? u play this game or u calculator-warrior?
everyone is playing mana stacking sorcerer, such a disappointment
Was thinking the same thing
Ok? So play something else. People can play whatever they please.
why do you care what others do?
