Are you surprised to see this many first-time Cup Series winners this year?
Yes
No. it's crazy to think why it took so long to have rules that can make a broke team compete with the big money team boot fooken time..
Of course with the Next Gen car
50/50
Yes, I Did.
So cool to see the 8 back in victory lane 🤙
Joey Hand getting second in stage 2. That’s a confidence booster.
Joey races for BJ McLeod so that's really cool. Love to see teams like that doing well.
I Was Really Surprised Too, Congrats To Them
Was there yesterday, what an absolute blast. I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun hanging out with those Wisconsin folk. They know how to party!
I can’t tell you how bad I miss this. This was one of the best road courses!!
Bringing A Legendary Number Back In Victory Lane I See
They should be in Daytona on 4th of July weekend
As opposed to Road America? Do you know what the 4th of July is for? American stuff
what better way to celebrate July 4th than to be at a track called road America Plus the weather in Daytona f****** sucks in July
I don’t know, I love having Daytona at the end. The amount of fans they draw out at Road America, especially with the party/tailgating going in, I was super impressed.
@@johnhaas2523 It's a night race now and Daytona has been around since 1959. It hosted the Firecracker 400 on July 4th for many years. It's as American as it gets.
Nascar is in a generational shift like never seen before.
That’s not a bad thing…the “Old Guard” has been relatively slow to adapt to the new car…(Truex & Harvick being the prime examples).
Thank lord, the past generation- in my eyes 2005-2020 ish time frame killed me, happy with the new generation so far tho.
@@AndyGarcia-ch1ci yes!
At the race track and the racing was good, lots of non restart divebombs and bumping. Only seen in person sadly. Sorry to those who had a bad coverage experience and called it a snoozefest.
Don't feel sorry for the typical pack of whiners that show up here every week, they aren't worth your time...
Dale Jr.'s car number is back in the victory lane.
This was a well run race. There really isn't much you can do with the lead car a mile away. Hey! That a good way to stop collisions.
But I was not thrilled even as a Chase or Chevy fan.
@@ethanweeter2732 but when at the race track it was fun to see the loads of divebombs on turn 3
Glad for Tyler and awesome to see the pos 23 at the back as usual.
Hey bubba.. will it be fries with that.. LMAO
@@jeffhardin657 more like cries for that none driving racist pos. Where did the superstar finish 35 😂😂😂. He doesn't even deserve to wash Larson's jock strap. To bad he didn't end up like Dale Sr. when he crashed at dega this year 😂😂😂🔥🔥.
He won One race because NASCAR called it because of rain.. he wouldn't have won that if NASCAR didn't give it to him there is no hate.. he just has no talent.. and we all know why NASCAR gave it to him.. and you do too..
well earned points Chase Elliott despite car problems on this race
I think he should have won, but he and Alan got off on adjustments that final run.
Blaming it on car problems? Lol
@@BartonOutdoors he’s not saying the car problems are why he lost. He made a mistake that allowed the 8 to get around him. He was fighting steering issues all day though so I think he’s saying he did a good job fighting through it and placing that well.
@@paytonkaeb6124 seemed to steer fine. He got straight up beat
@@paytonkaeb6124 the man simply was out-talented. Chase is a pretty decent racer, but some guys just have a little more in them, with Reddick definitely in that group.
well done, lads! thanks for this show.
Well just based on the highlights of the race I'm glad I had to work today
Seemed like a spread out boring race on a side note it was nice to see logano get put in the grass lmao
It was. Very, very boring. Although Tyler did pass Chase on track, but that was about it.
Hey logano.. will they be fries with that.. please drive around to the window.. LOL
Congrats Tyler!! Go get some more!!
Awesome! Great to see Tyler get a W
Wish y’all were back this year. Maybe next year!
23II cars are NEVER near each other. Kurt continues to run good in the same car as bubba who's rarely in the top 25
Bubba runs out of talent.. again.. LOL
@@jeffhardin657 and again.. and again.. lmao
Cant believe Nascar didnt throw a caution flag?!!? To make the race look closer at the end.
Why is an entire race "highlight" a 7 minute video with only 4 of actual racing.
Because it was awful to watch
I thought these new cars were supposed to be faster on road courses then the previous cars.
I am a bit surprised by Joey Hand’s performance in this race
Why he drives for factory Ford race teams in GT classes?
@@wesmanpipes9430 I think mostly because it has been well over a decade since a road ringer has made any noise at the cup level
If you put Joey in Chases car, the man would have I swear lapped the field. Absolutely unreal performance yesterday.
@@hehateme71 i would love to see Scott Mclaughlin in a few road course races. He would blitz the field.
RC !! Good to see them win !!!
Now I only need Erik to win to secure his position in the Playoffs.
I think he got daytona
@@emperortex No, he hasn't won a race this season.
@@emperortex that was a non points race
@@testing056 he means he thinks he’ll win Daytona
I'm an Erik Jones fan and I'd love nothing more than to see him pilot that 43 car to victory lane but I'm not real confident it'll happen this year. He's a good driver and has decent equipment but I don't know it's going to be quite enough. I fear he may be in the same boat Matt DiBenedetto was in last year with the Wood brothers. Hope I'm wrong.
I know it's a good finish when I get chills.
Congrats to Kyle and Chase too GREAT FINISH!!
Great day for Chevrolet, sweeping the Top 5 spots. Toyota??? Not so much…😂
The #8 back in victory lane, called by Junior, and own by the man who also owns the numbers of The Earnhardt family, (other than Ralph's #42 being Petty Enterprises).... And another first time winner this year
Both Ralph & Dale Earnhardt drove the #8 for multiple seasons…Senior drove it exclusively in his early NASCAR Sportsman and Busch Grand Nat’l days…
Oh yeah win unlocked. First is the hardest one to get. Many more now baby!!
3 ..8... RCR. is still getting it done ..
Yes
Everyone should make an edit about he first cup time drivers
Man was getting excited seeing blaney win a stage.. my man’s needs to capture a win
Unbelievable race what an side by side battle between Reddick & Elliott for the win insane dude! How many first time race winners we have this season? 🤩🤩🤩🍾🍾🍾🥳🥳🥳
Ig you squint just a little, you see the DEI 8 in your mind. So cool having Jr on the call with Reddick winning his first race. Welcome back great 8!
Crazy
Another driver in the mix now, the championship is going to be great.
3 rc races made 3 first-time winners in 22
Awesome video gratulation’s
💛❤️💙
2:34 Wallace's retaliation against Logano is the correct way of retaliation, take notes Gragson
Chevys dominating road courses this year
Yes absolutely any drivers deserve to win some races
Well at least we know that rick ware cars CAN come in top 10s
Looks like the new car has evened out the R&D time which leveled the playing field. Hope it lasts....
About time
That kids gonna go on a tear now he's gonna dominate NASCAR
I’m shocked his first win Came on a road course instead of on dirt or a 1 1/2 mile
Go RCR!
You don't have to touch to run someone off there line .
It’s sad because I loved the 3chi car SO much when reddick drove it. Now I hate it 😭 just got this diecast from their site tho! As well as the white version.
If I had a nickel for every time a RWR car got a top ten finish in either a stage or a race, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.
Hopefully know one hits the sargeto sign
Chastain, Suarez and now Reddick gets his first cup win in a road course did Chevy developed a road course car to keep Elliott winning at road courses?
hahaha
Was never a matter of if, it was a matter of when, well deserved from Reddick! If he got himself out of RCR he'd be a championship contender every year
Been saying that for 2yrs. JGR, HMS, 23II, and he’s dominating the circuit. And I know there’s no way he gets the best equipment at RCR with Dillon there.
Covid couldn’t put me to sleep but this race sure did. Bring back the Firecracker 400…
Yeah, the Daytona track hosted a soccer match attended by a few thousand folks today…
Sad. Very, very sad…
CHASE DOMINATED THE RACE HE SHOULD HAVE HAD THAT WIN BUT CONGRATS TO REDDICK
He dominated until he got flat out beat by reddick
@@BartonOutdoors so he pretty much dominated the whole race least hes been in top5 all day pretty much unless he has to pit
I knew you would be here somewhere. All that really matters is who dominates the last lap. Chase was the lesser man this week, and he got beat, rightfully
@@aaronarmstrong9776 idc honestly he still dominated the race
@@Sammy-my9kj just got out-talented the last 1/4 of the race. I was walking around the track, you could see Reddick was noticeably smoother. Chase is definitely talented, but Reddicks in that group that really has that extra gear. The real small things.
What was the attendance?
Finally reddick won not as action packed as I hope but solid 7/10 race
That 23 was too aggressive
The 23 was too aggressive by running someone hard but the 22 wasn’t aggressive for wrecking himself and another car by blowing the braking zone? Ok clown.
@@no1dejfan and finished 35th. Who's the clown? Even the 22 with a terrible race beated him
Joey hand got second in Stage 2 wtf
Hey guys, it's 2022, can we not leave 720 behind? Jesus, was this filmed on a 2010 Blackberry or soemthing?
Isn't this like the first rcr win in 5 years?
In 2 years
Comments like that have to be embarrassing for Austin and Richard. "He's been battling with his teammate Dillon to be the top car at RCR".
Both Track House cars in the top 5 and McDowell with another top 10!
The 8 car winning and the driver was cool but the race was dull I thought the first one was lame and wanted to see the 2nd before giving up on the track and skip watching it ill give it 1 last time to have better racing to watch if not ill just not watch this track anymore with nascar but like I said good for Tyler and the 8 team
What's with you boomers hating? Whole race was good, if you like RACING. If you like wreckfests, well, turn on ARCA or a demo derby.
This IS what NASCAR looked like, before it was all about "wReCKerS or ChEcKerS"
Does the producer of that race yesterday no there are more than 20 cars that race and when you show the whole lineup you don't highlight it so anybody could see their favorite driver that is in 20th and below position that was the worst coverage I've seen I've been watching NASCAR since the 70s
You dump Daytona 4th of July weekend for this? Smh
Wasn’t as good as cota but decent race hoping it’ll be daytona or Chicago street course next year
I think the street course might not be better though. Still love this track.
@@ethanweeter2732 yeah but I think it would work well with heavy breaking points and especially the environment around it just think how cool stick cars in the city would be
No Chicago street race, no. The people do not want it or care about it.
the cup race was not very exciting, for me. the xfinity race was better this week.
NASCAR Cup Series at Road America Winner: Tyler Reddick
NASCAR Cup Series at Road America Winner: Tyler Reddick
You really should not upload television recordings onto UA-cam.
Where did bubba finish
Again, Bubba was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hard luck driver.
35th🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A wreck saved Bubba the embarrassment of finishing bad on his own.
He's hanging in there.
Haha!
Should of won the Bristol dirt race that Briscoe accidentally bumped into him...but this is a nice redemption from the RCR organization! Now it's Austin Dillons turn! 😃
1:49 for a whole stage 1... I cannot believe there was no racing/overtakes in that whole stage given how close the pack was and how many cars are out there... 40 seconds devoted to the whole of Stage 2...
Nascar really do think their product is all about wrecking... nothing to see here otherwise! 🤷♂️🤦♂️
So the race was really boring huh.
To many road races.
F1 races are becoming much more exciting. Been a Cup fan since the 80’s, this stuff is sleepy.
If you haven't enjoyed this season I don't know what to tell, it has been absolutely electric
F1 races are more exciting? Lol you clearly don't watch F1 races.
@@vidmasterK1 Did you watch the British GP? It was awesome!
@@p_nilly lol the battle for second and third was more exciting than a battle for the lead.
@@vidmasterK1 You “clearly” didn’t watch this weekends British Grand Prix nor have you experienced cup back in its hay-day.
But if you enjoy it now, great, have fun. Its just that its lost its flavor with a lot of us. It used to be a one of a kind deal, now it feels that they watered it down trying to appeal to everyone like any other sport.
The fact they still run starved engines on tracks like this is mind boggling to me, but then again its Nascar. They have no idea what they are doing and are carried by the teams and drivers
Let’s GO Wallace 🫣
I wanted Kyle Busch to win
That was part of the problem. The drivers that we expected to up front competing were no where to be found. Kyle had enough problems of his own.
I wanted overrated Kyle crybaby to wreck and he did
@@Tixio_T 1 championship that 2015 asterisk is the biggest undeserved asterisk joke of a title
All the money Nascar on fox has and can''t even post videos in 1080p.
@@Tixio_T dose not look fine on a 4k tv
Well, glad i didn't waste my time watching this race, and I love road courses!
so what,,,,,, did he Cure Cancer ? No ?..... then he ain't so great.
Bubba blew it again
And his son was sound asleep in mommy’s arm in the pits. …Congratulations Tyler
I don’t know who does the scheduling for 4th of July, but a road race? Really? Watching PBS reruns of The Joy of Painting was more exciting.
One of the most boring races I've ever watched....I don't even think there was a caution...good for Tyler
Come on we need Austin Dillon to win before playoffs
or instead you could have good drivers in the chase.
Oh,,, his teammates will get him there.. Watch...
You people who talk about this being a good race, have you ever seen a real NASCAR road race? This was a horrible race. Zero cautions other than stage breaks. This was a snooze fest. This next gen car is terrible. Racing has become super boring. It’s just about who has the track position. Nearly impossible to drive thru the field. Constant loose wheels. NASCAR needs to let the teams go back to real practice. Cutting cost so these lower level teams can compete has produced a terrible product on race days. They’re trying to turn away the few remaining die hard fans they have.
So cautions and restarts to inflate drama makes a good race? Perhaps you would be more satisfied just going to a demo derby
So with your logic if there are no wrecks, then the race was bad?
NASCAR is going down fast, years ago they worked hard to increase the fan base, and they did that, they had a huge following, now all of that is going away, i haven't watched a race in years, i do look at the so called highlights on UA-cam.
Agree, it was a boring race. Had nothing to do with it being a road course. Two or three drivers dominated the race and left the others in their mirrors. That does not make for exciting racing.
Interesting, considering that there's all kinds of movement through the field. Harvick started 28 and finished 10. Suarez and Allmendinger moved up 12 spots. Stenhouse 14 spots. Byron 13. Have you actually watched the next gen car, or are you just allergic to change? Boring is 3 guys winning every race for 36 weeks. Real NASCAR? Ned Jarrett won a race by 14 laps in 65. That's boring.
All 7 fans at the track were pumped
nice joke
Hmmm, frontstrech grandstands sure looked full, as did all 5he popular viewing spots...
I don`t care who wins as long as Bubba Smollett loses.
Smollett very original
@@brendansmith4680 it's also very embarrassing to Hoosier
Road race highlights:
On lap 5 someone passed someone.
On lap 12 someone passed someone.
On lap 36 someone passed someone.
On lap 42 someone passed someone, ... and OH MY GOODness someone ELSE passed someone ELSE! My what excitement!! ...
NASCAR is trying to make itself more exciting and appealing by adding road courses but has done the total opposite.
Back when I used to actually watch the races, I always wished they'd add more road courses. But it had the opposite effect as you said. I used to look forward to Sonoma and Watkins Glen all year because they were special, now there's a bunch and it's kinda ruined the specialty of them.
@@Rednax_99 You already have road course fatigue? it's still only 6 out of 36 races and they're spread out. It's not like oval racing still isn't the vast majority of the schedule. Just my opinion.
@@harrowdrut6316 not road course fatigue, I don't even watch the sport anymore but I still somewhat follow it. Just how nascar has been changing the schedule so much over the last several years, adding and removing and adjusting events all over the place has taken "tradition" out of the schedule, and adding more road courses definitely removes the unique feeling of having them show up at a road course.
Again, I'm not a huge fan like I once was, so it could just be nostalgia. But I think it has had the opposite effect of what most people thought would happen, myself included.
Not every race can be down to the wire, nail bitting, exciting finishes. The F1 and Indy mid Ohio didn’t help this race stand out. It does need some improvement. And considering the competition is figuring the car out. The flaws of the nxt gen are becoming more apparent..
And the wokeness continues, with bubba being nominated for sportsman of the year. What a joke.
All you are doing is embarrassing yourself. You're a big baby.
Hmmm, for all the complaining you guys constantly do, you'd think you would realize it's actually you that can't shut up about him...
@@codymoe4986 yes, because he's continually forced down our throats.
Woke is a joke.. will there be fries with that bubbles...lol
@@jeffhardin657 the only joke here is you. Getting all wound up because of a nascar driver hahaha

Lord nascar has become so boring. Nothing like it use to be. I give it 5 more years and it'll be gone
