What was your favorite moment from Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race?
Chastains ???
I mean…
Move
Ross Chastain’s move
Chastain without a doubt.
"Chastaining the Wall". A legendary move that will go down in NASCAR lore.
We race RC cars and that move is pretty common on one of our dirt tracks…it has now been christened with a new name…”Chastaining the Wall.”
Haha!
What Chastain did was so incredible that the fact Bell was 70+ points in the negative and had to win to advance, was overshadowed.
Bell makes another time this, but Chastain make impossible
Убери мой флаг со своей авы, не позорься
My Okie right there.
70+ points in the negative is called -70+
The fact that Denny and Chase talked big about Chastain (I hate him) NEVER going to win a championship, and BOTH had the opportunity to ensure that... and FAILED makes BOTH of them pathetic. I liked Denny for a long time, but his failure to prevent that arsehole Chastain from being in the hunt this year makes him look ineffectual and weak. Dammit you two... your big talk was BS. Unless one of them wrecks Chastain at Phoenix, neither one should EVER be taken seriously again.
Even if that didn't work out the way he wanted, that is without a doubt the most awesome thing I've ever seen in my 30+ years of watching any form of racing.
I literally can’t think of anything better than that too in my 25 years of watching racing
And it is all because of the elimination playoff system currently in use.
@@vidmasterK1 it s my first time watching NASCAR with this
@@vidmasterK1 I agree, but play the hand you're dealt. I think they need to go back to the old format and get rid of stage racing
Chastain just went DAYS OF THUNDER mode through turn 3-4! 🤣
I'm surprised it was still drive-able after.
"Don't pass on the outside of turn 4." Ross Chastain:
Hold my beer.
Yes
He was told he had those matched perfect tyres
🤣🤣🤣
Ross is officially a “Legend” .. WTF was that.. “I’m Taking Him On The Outside Harry” .. That was a straight Days Of Thunder Move that was thought only to be done by Cole Trickle!! Crazy
Ross is the cole trickle of Real life
And before the race he was known for wrecking or spinning out his competition.
This will be used in every Martinsville race promo till the end of time
Lol
For what Chastain did, I hope he wins the championship for that. That was a do or die move, and I'd love to see that be his championship winning move.
I want to see Hamlin eat his jordans, fuming of anger when Chastain wins the championship!
@@wendigockel He actually gave the man props for the move in the post race interview. I think they’re starting to make amends lol, I know they had lunch recently lol
@@jimmiesox6402 According to Hamlin during Danica's podcast, they had lunch just after the whole Gateway thing
Ross Chastain really thought and used the uniformed circular motion to get himself into the playoffs… 💀
Huh
@@thebestkdbfan8295 The constant motion of an object along a circular path. Aka going around a curve.
Great move. It was impressive he made it work. Great job to bell for actually winning his way in pretty much every round this playoffs.
The highest IQ move ever in NASCAR history by Ross Chastain
Chastain had those "special tires" from old Harry Hogge..If you drive it in there it will stick.😂😂😂
that was so amazing. l have been watching nascar for 30 plus years and i have never seen that. that was so awesome. great job!!!
& I got to witness it in person. What an insane move! Chastain is the mfn man!!!
CHASTAIN found a glitch in the Matrix to pull that off!
F1 fan came here for the wall ride...that was awesomeeeeeeee!!!...hands down one the best move i have ever seen....
Same
Fair play. Think I’ve found my favourite driver. It’s taken me 3 years of watching nascar to pick someone and chastain has just won it I think. What a move, especially when F1 was awful today!
Same, haven’t watched much NASCAR since I started watching F1 20 years ago, that one lap was better than the whole F1 race today. LEEEEEROOOOYYY JENKINSSSSSSSS!
I haven't watch Nascar since Dale Sr got killed, but I think Ross here might have just brought me back after watching that.
F1 was awful only then?
This move was better than today s f1 race. If it wasn't for Daniel Riciardo fighting his way with 10 second penalty to 7 place i would literally Fallen asleep
F1? Never heard of her...
That was the coolest move ive ever seen EVER!
That wall move was the damndest thing I've EVER seen in NASCAR. That was a Dale Earnhardt move every day. He's laughing from above at this move. Well done ROSS. You have a new fan. ME!!!
Chastain: "This is what we call... A PRO GAMER MOVE"
It is so hilarious seeing the same people who complain about the playoffs and how much of a gimmick Nascar is every week say this is the most amazing thing they have ever seen. Good on Chastain though. If the game lets you, do it. Least 3 of the top 4 drivers all year are racing for the cup now instead of 2
The NASCAR playoffs are a joke competition-wise, but we experience what we can. Most people know by now that NASCAR isn't all about the competition, it makes sacrifices to put on a show. And when it does, people watch.
It works in Nascar games lol. Unbelievable. Good stuff
Got em with the ol sling shot.
Reminds me of Larson trying the videogame move last year on Hamlin. Chastain got by Hamlin this time!
BadAss ! Love that guy!!
I’m a Hamlin fan and that was a hella pass!! Best move of the year!!
This moment will be just as historic as "The Pass in the Grass" in the future. How should it be called? "The Wall Ride"?
There's only one name for this and it's "The Wall-Ross"
Chastaining the wall
Chastain made an unexpected move, it's the craziest thing I've seen in the years I've been following NASCAR.
Ross chastians thoughts on last lap:common think this is your last shot to make i... wait(goes back to 8 year old self) wait I got it time for a wall ride
Denny hamlins thoughts exciting 4: man I can't belive it I'm about to......(ross Chastain, out of no ware gets by him and gets the 5th spot) WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!!?!?!!!?!?!?
In all my year's of being a Nascar fan all I can say is just when you've seen it all at Martinsville never thought I would see something like that running of the outside wall. Well firing up the PS2 putting in Nascar 05 Chase for the Cup and gonna try it.
THAT FINISH! Mad props to Chastain's brilliance at what he had to do! In all my years watching Nascar, I've never seen such a move!
There's no combination of words that could sum it up better then describing it as a 'videogame move'
The huevos a move like that takes... 🤯
This will *_surely_** be replayed over-and-over for **_years_** to come!*
What Ross did was one of the most badass things I've ever seen In cup racing
Hamlin is flabbergasted!
Ross Chastain was the player in NASCAR '22, playing with the AI set to Easy and Damage set to Low
All I gotta say, is what Chastain did was phenomenal! And btw, Hamlin is a joke!
Checkers or Wreckers in the truest sense!!
I’ve been watching this sport since Donnie and Cale fought in the infield at Daytona. This was by far the greatest move to gain position that I have ever witnessed!! Ross is a Boss!! Well done young man!
I agree brother
Dang that was crazy! My first year of following NASCAR has been insane!!!
Chastain found a Super Mario gold star and ran it!
Wow Ross Chastain! Now I have seen it all! A car railing the wall a about 150 thru Martinsville turns!? Unreal
CHASTAIN é um gênio, acompanho na Nascar a anos e é a primeira vez que vi isso! mito #1 campeão!!
Epic move by Chastain! Now NASCAR probably make a rule against it next year.
Yes they will for sure prevent that on the near future
They better not!
Why would they? He did it clean didn’t wreck anyone for once
@@GlennWidick because some people want to outlaw fun
@@GlennWidick Probably to prevent the entire field from doing it on the final lap next time. I would imagine that might not end well.
One of the greatest NASCAR moves ever.
He cheated and its the best move? Lol
What if he wall rode the whole race? Woyld that be fine ? Lol
@Frenzyyy Agreed.
WTF hahahahaha that had me crying.
That move right there is bringing me back as a fan.
My mind is blown by that move ..FUCKEN awesome
Wow! Chastain. Amazing.
That move will be remembered forever. Smash a watermelon in the garage
dang that is one way to make the championship 4 race!!!!!! Ross Chastain just full send it in there literally!!!!!
Heard about this on one of my F1 channels, had to come check it out. INSANE!!!
Chastain and Bell are the most deserving for the title, ESPECIALLY after all the speed bumps they've conquered
I think Logano, who I like a lot as a driver, is the only driver that doesn't have a chance to win the championship. Fords just haven't been that good this season. Should be fun, but if Chastain ends up taking the title, that move at Martinsville will end up being the most replayed clip in the history of NASCAR, because it got Chastain into the Championship 4.
@@oldschoolgnrfan6035 I don't know, even though it's been an off year for Logano, he's got a chance in my eyes. Sometimes, perfection from a driver can make up for the error of a team.
Didn't work for Carl Edwards at Kansas, but did for Chastain at martinsville
Ross just got himself a whole bunch of new fans with that move.
Epic race. My driver Willy B finished 7th, Chastain pulled a Hail Mary and it succeeded!
Amazing that it worked out. That has to be the best Nascar move I have ever seen.
I think Nascar might have gotten fun again.. That's a highlight that goes up there with the pass in the grass.
I was rooting for Denny but hats off to Chastain for the ballsiest successful move I've ever seen in racing. WOW!!
Most Nascar thing I've seen in 30 years. Chastain now officially my favourite driver. He had more chances of having a serious crash than making it to the finish line. Congrats!
Larson literally did that last year and almost beat Hamlin
Amazing when you see a driver do whatever it takes. Fans like it.. I'm sure sponsors are happy they got a driver that'll give it his all. Loved to see it.
That is the wildest move I’ve ever seen by Chastain
Dude pulled a 2008 Carl Edwards video game move that actually worked this time
One word to describe this feat: Incredible
5:46
I cannot wait for this Radioactive.
Same bro
Same. Haven't been this excited for all the post race stuff since Gordon's last win.
Wow what a race !!!
That was a awesome move my hats off to that team.
Gonna be a new rule in the NASCAR rulebook by next weekend. Lol
Ross did it wow that was awesome 😁
That was one helluva move by Ross Chastain at the end!
I can't believe this wallride by Chastain actually worked.
YAY CHRISTOPHER BELL 🔔
YAY CHRISTOPHER BELL 🔔
Chastain's move was the best maneuver in nascar I have ever seen
I'm still duh-mazed at that move by Ross Chastain to clench that top 4 ...nicely done sir...nicely done
Coolest thing to happen in Nascar in 20 years maybe 40!
Probably the best thing that’s ever happened in NASCAR
I have watched that move by Chastain over and over and over, and I can't get enough of it. It still doesn't look real. Mad props to Mad Ross!
Christopher Bell may have won the race
But The Real Winner was Ross Chastain based on that insane yet successful Video Game move
Very smart on his part!👍
That’s a dale sr move ! Put it where you want it dale would have been proud!
That was legendary af. And I'm the biggest JGR fan there is. Tough for Hamlin. ggs though.
Chastain is an absolute mad fookin lad!!!! CHADSTAIN
i still cant believe that move actually happened
Thanks to this nobody is talking about Christopher bell winning
That was awesome from Chastain.. Love it! I hope NASCAR doesn't try to ban that kind of thing. He took a risk that was within the rules and it paid off. Great move! Pretty cool!
I'm still iffy on the playoff system in place and I think I always will be but that move by Chastain was mind-blowing to watch. I couldn't believe my eyes! 🤯
Just remember this move never would’ve happened without this elimination format.
Chastain made the most awesome move I have ever seen in NASCAR, going back almost 60 years. But I would put money on NASCAR outlawing it before Phoenix.
I don’t know how he did it but chastain is somehow my new favorite driver
Chastain did a FULL SEND!!
This how Martinsville will end every year now you watch
Love him or hate him, like 6 of the 10 best moments this year have involved Ross Chastain.
Listening to this on the radio did NO justice holy
I guess Ross wanted the extra life! 😂. Good luck this Sunday, Watermelon man!
Now Chastain is my Favorite for the Championship. No one wants it more them him. Unbelievable move.
chastains move completely overshadowing how amazing bell did, needed to win to advance for THE SECOND TIME AND DID.
That was, by far, the COOLEST thing I have EVER seen in NASCAR in my entire life.
LETS GOOO BELL!!!!! SO GLAD I GOT TO SEE THIS IN PERSON
That might have been the greatest move in the sport's history.
I need a Chastain T-shirt suddenly 😂
Chastian was practicing on FM7 🤣🤣🤣
Wow. I don’t like that move much but I can’t hate. Dude did what he had to do and got it done
The smartest racing move I have EVER seen and I'm 60 years old.
