2V power. The compression bump in the NPI shortblock + stage cams with his bolt on's changes the game on those cars. They wake up from the coma they are born into lol. I know I have one!
Yeah I have an 01 GT. I would really like to step up the 4.10's but I bought this car used with some mods so I would like to make sure I don't already have them in lol
yup 99-04 had 2.73, do you have a 99-04, if so i can help you figure out your ratio, ya 4.10 would be night and day, the feeling would be similar to a 80-100 hp increase (or so i have heard)
im thinking of making a video about this subject some time, look at the diff cover and if it has a tag on the passenger side attached by a bolt it probably has what the tag says inside, if the tag is missing most likely someone opened it up for some reason, second way to find stock what it had is open the driver side door and on the body there is a white tag, it will have a an axle rating with a number, letter or both, either google that number or send it to me, third thing you can do is
probably minor shit. exhaust and tune maybe. those cars are serious sleepers, dosnt take much to get them to 500hp. but it takes a lot to keep them running without breaking lol
On the forums the cobra owner said that everyone was doing 80 on the interstate but they were going in 2nd gear. Still I would like to seen a dig run against the 3000.
Sorry to burst your bubble but if those both 95"s-then are both 5.0's. 94-95 gt and cobra were the only years you could get a 5.0 in the fox 4/sn95 platform. they switched to the lame and probaly the slowest gt ever made in96-98. The cobra got some muscle with a 305hp dohc. They were still getting there butt beatby camaro's though. The 95 cobra was rated at 235 flywheel but come to find out is was putting that down to the wheels so it was a little, lets say, underated. More like 275 hp.
It was enough to beat this cobra with better flowing B heads. The black car is the GT with PI swap, On the SVT forums the Cobra owner said this was a V6 car swaped with the PI enigine.
Rex Overbey Regardless, the heads had to come off for the Cam swap. Know what nevermind... I always forget you need a new rotating assembly to make full use of the TF Heads.

I've noticed a lot of p.i swapped sn95 Gta5 have about 270-280 hp. With cams and basic bolt ons it's easily making about 315-320.
I have a 96 gt... not sure if I should upgrade to a cobra
The camera car or the white cobra is SN95, 97 Cobra. 4.6L with T-45.

The black Gt stared as a v6 car. 4.6 swap at that time. Now it is pro charged and it put down 437hp/415tq. The Cobra was sold few months ago.

mark both tire and drive shaft at 6 o-clock position and have a friend watch the wheel and count the turns till the wheel makes one full rotation
The big question is what was done to the 3000gt I'm assuming stock turbo vr4?

how and why did the 4.6 win? i guess go 2v

Your car came with 2.73's!!!! Did the 99-04's come with 2.73's too??
Dude 4.10's would make a HUGE difference wouldn't it?
@mrdragking13 They're both 4.6 cars.
Damn... maybe I will keep my GT and fix it up instead of buying a cobra lol...
So why did the gt waste money on or time P.I heads... 4.6 beg for the tfs heads....
