Showdown is a jam from the Nightlife album. Phil Lynott singer has his own statue in Dublin and he was on postage stamps in Ireland. So many bands pay homage to Thin Lizzy!! Love this!! ❤️🎼❤️
My main men Mojo and Uncle Ted! Actually, I had always heard Phil Lynott (pronounced "lie-nut") wrote this about a group of friends returning from Vietnam. At any rate,Thin Lizzy was a great band, and have a back catalogue well worth exploring.
Very true.... Soldiers on Liberty..... "If they wanna fight just let um" How about some "Expensive Winos" for some of your future reactions. Maybe "You don't move me anymore" or "Big Enough" off the first album Talk is cheap.. I'm an old roadie so. May your loadins be quick, May your loadouts be quicker... Much Aloha...

Phil Lynots father as far as I am aware, was from British New Guinea. But his mother is white Irish. He considered himself Irish.

Cowboy Song Live At The Rainbow
Thin Lizzy are legends in England and Ireland. Unfortunately they weren't as big as they should've been in The U.S.
