@@Tier1Citizen do you still run the particular buffer weight? Do you think it's the best option for 7 1/2 inch 556 Rifles? how about if I was to run heavier ammo like 75 or 77 grain?
M193 is my choice for carry ammo. Lightweight means more velocity out of a set up that is already lacking in speed. However, once you get into the lightweight ammunition, like 45 grain TSX, you are causing the rifle to extract too quickly and you will probably end up with malfunctions. That's why I stick with M193.

This is my opinion based on anecdotal experience. The sight radius is too arrow on something like this for it to be useful for anything other than a gross sight picture. This is similar to the sights that came on the top of the Trijicon: ACOG TA01NSN www.trijicon.com/products/details/ta01nsn In theory it's great, in execution it is nothing more than a very loose way of knowingly, roughly, which direction your weapon is pointed. You can do the same by looking through a dead optic and bracketing the front sight post, or even your raised thumb inside the optic, and pulling the trigger.
This one is an SBR because it is registered as one. However, all I'd have to do to make it a pistol is not register it and put on a brace. I would highly suggest the SBA4 brace from SB Tactical.
The weight of the ammo really doesn't matter. The reason for a heavy buffer is how much gas the weapon has running through the gas port. Bullet plays very little into that effect.
